Abstract
Description
本発明の一例を、鋳造ポリプロピレンフィルムの主面を、ボスティック(Bostik)より製品名PE−65として製造されている不織熱可塑性ウェブにより提供される中間接着層によって、シート材料の主面に接合して、繊維状断熱シート材料(すなわち、3Mカンパニー(3M Company)製900HTセラミックファイバーシート材料)の層を用いて作製した。中間接着層は、シート材料とポリマーフィルムの主面の間に挟まれて接合されている。接着層を加熱して、シート材料の主面に浸透させた。この構造の作製に際して、シート材料は下部に、PE−65は中間に、ポリマーフィルムは上部に置いた。この構造を十分な熱でホットロールラミネータに通して、ポリマーフィルムを損傷することなく熱可塑性ウェブを溶融した。得られたラミネートは断熱接合に対して強固なフィルムを有していた。フィルムを断熱体から分離する180度剥離試験によれば、PSAを用いてポリマーフィルムをシート材料に接合するのに比べて4〜5倍増大した。
ポリプロピレンフィルムをボスティック(Bostik)PE−65に接合するPSAで裏打して、構造を中間接着層に接合されたフィルムのPSA側にラミネートする以外は実施例1と同じ構造である。
本発明の他の例を、ホットメルト接着剤(ボスティック社(Bostik Corp.)より入手可能なボスティック(Bostik)ポリエステル105ウェブ接着剤)を中間接着剤として用いて形成することができる。この接着剤ウェブを、従来のセラミックファイバーベースの装着マットに配置して、接着剤を約110〜140℃で加熱する。厚さ約0.1mm、秤量85オンス/平方ヤード(商品名セレックス(Cerex)で入手可能)スパン接合ナイロン不織スクリムを、ニップロールを用いて加熱した接着ウェブにラミネートして、感圧接着剤を固定するマットに表面を提供する。感圧接着転写テープをナイロンスクリムに接合して、本発明による断熱マットを提供する。
本発明の更なる例を、低接着力バッキングで裏打し、鋳造ポリプロピレンフィルムの主面を、ボスティック(Bostik)より製品名PE−65−50(秤量50g/m2)として製造されている不織熱可塑性ウェブにより提供される中間接着層によって、シート材料の主面に接合して、繊維状材料(すなわち、3Mカンパニー(3M Company)製900HTセラミックファイバーシート材料)の層を用いて作製することができる。中間接着層は、シート材料とポリマーフィルムの主面の間に挟まれて接合されている。接着層を加熱して、シート材料の主面に浸透させた。この構造の作製に際して、シート材料は下部に、PE−65−50ボスティック(Bostik)接着剤は中間に、ポリマーフィルムは上部に置いた。この構造を十分な熱でホットロールラミネータに通して、ポリマーフィルムを損傷することなく熱可塑性ウェブを溶融した。3Mカンパニー(3M Company)より9671LEという製品番号で製造され、油性/非油性金属表面への接着に好適な両面300LSE高強度転写接着テープの接着剤側(すなわち、主面)をポリマーフィルムに適用し接合した。転写テープの他の接着剤側(すなわち、主面)を紙剥離ライナで保護した。繊維状シート材料を汚染防止装置筐体の内側表面に接合するために、剥離ライナを除去し、他の接着剤側を筐体の内側表面に適用する。

- 前記断熱体が、ディーゼルまたはガソリンエンジン排気フィルタアセンブリの端部を断熱するのに好適である、請求項1に記載の断熱体。
- 前記断熱材料が膨張性材料をさらに含む、請求項1、2または3に記載の断熱体。
- 前記端部コーン断熱体が非膨張性端部コーン断熱体である、請求項1、2または3に記載の断熱体。
- 汚染防止装置に汚染防止要素を装着するのに好適な装着材料を有する薄肉構造体、
前記薄肉構造体の少なくとも1つの主表面に接合されて、前記少なくとも1つの主表面を被覆し、かつ前記断熱材料に浸透して、前記薄肉構造体に少なくとも機械的に接合している中間接着剤、および
前記薄肉構造体の反対側で前記中間接着剤に接合している感圧接着剤、
を有する、汚染防止装置に汚染防止要素を装着するのに好適な装着マット。 - 前記マットが、触媒コンバータに触媒要素を装着するのに好適である、請求項6に記載の装着マット。
- 前記マットが、ディーゼルまたはガソリンエンジン排気フィルタアセンブリにフィルタ要素を装着するのに好適である、請求項6に記載の装着マット。
- 前記装着材料が膨張性材料を有する、請求項7または8に記載の装着マット。
- 前記マットが非膨張性マットである、請求項7または8に記載の装着マット。
- 前記中間接着剤が、熱活性化接着剤、ホットメルト接着剤、接着剤状熱可塑性材料またはこれらの組み合わせのうちの1または複数である、請求項1、2または3のいずれかに記載の断熱体。
- 前記中間接着剤が、熱活性化接着剤、ホットメルト接着剤、接着剤状熱可塑性材料またはこれらの組み合わせのうちの1または複数である、請求項6、7または8のいずれかに記載の装着マット。
- 請求項1、2または3のいずれかに記載の前記断熱体を有する、汚染防止装置。
- 請求項6、7または8のいずれかに記載の前記装着マットを有する、汚染防止装置。
- 請求項13に記載の前記汚染防止装置を有する、内燃機関用排気システム。
- 請求項14に記載の前記汚染防止装置を有する、内燃機関用排気システム。
- 請求項15に記載の排気システムを有する、内燃機関。
- 請求項16に記載の排気システムを有する、内燃機関。
- 請求項17に記載の内燃機関を有する、乗り物。
- 請求項18に記載の前記内燃機関を有する、乗り物。
- 請求項1、2または3のいずれかに記載の断熱体を提供すること、
汚染防止装置のための筐体を提供すること、
感圧接着剤を用いて前記断熱体を前記筐体の内側表面に接合することによって、汚染防止装置の適所に断熱体を固定すること、
を含む、汚染防止装置の製造方法。 - 請求項6、7または8のいずれかに記載の装着マットを提供すること、
汚染防止装置のための筐体を提供すること、
感圧接着剤を用いて前記マットを前記筐体の内側表面に接合することによって、汚染防止装置の適所に装着マットを固定すること、
を含む、汚染防止装置の製造方法。
