Description
Claims (15)
- 親水性エステル系ポリウレタンフォームの製造方法であって、
(a)以下の成分:
(i)エステルポリオール100重量部(このうちなくとも5重量部が、アジピン酸及びポリエチレングリコールから製造した親水性ポリエステルポリオールからなる)、
(ii)ポリオール100部につきイソシアネート(イソシアネート指数は120以下)20.0〜62.0重量部、及び、
(iii)ポリオール100部につき安定化界面活性剤1.0〜3.0重量部:
を混合することによりポリウレタンフォームを形成し、
(b)腐食剤浴中で前記ポリウレタンフォームを処理して親水性エステル系ポリウレタンフォームを形成して、
(c)前記処理後のフォームをフェルト化することからなる製造方法であって、
前記親水性エステル系ポリウレタンフォームの吸水率は、1平方フィート当たり毎分少なくとも20ポンド(0.96kPa/分)である
ことを特徴とする製造方法。 - 前記安定化界面活性剤はシリコーン系界面活性剤である
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - ポリオール100部につき1.0〜5.0重量部の発泡剤を成分として更に含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - 前記発泡剤が水である
ことを特徴とする請求項3記載の製造方法。 - ゲル触媒、ガス生成触媒、及び、これらの混合物からなる群より選択される触媒を成分として更に含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - 発泡触媒0.5〜2.0部及びゲル触媒0〜0.3部を成分として更に含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - 二重セル形成添加剤を成分として更に含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - 抗菌性添加剤を成分として更に含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - 前記腐食剤浴が、水酸化ナトリウムを含有する溶液として作られる
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - 前記処理後のフォームを、元の厚みの1/3〜1/8に圧縮することによってフェルト化する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - 前記処理後のフォームを340〜380°F(171〜193℃)で加熱しながら圧縮することによってフェルト化する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - フェルト化する前に、前記親水性エステル系ポリウレタンフォームが、長さ1インチ当たり孔を70〜130個(1cm当たり27.6〜51個)有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - 前記イソシアネート指数が100以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - 前記親水性エステル系ポリウレタンフォームは瞬時に水を吸収する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造方法。 - 請求項1記載の製造方法によって製造される親水性エステル系ポリウレタンフォーム。
