Abstract
Description
この出願は2002年10月22日に出願された米国特許出願第60/420,085号、2003年1月21日に出願された米国特許出願第60/441,575号及び2003年4月10日に出願された米国特許出願第60/462,124号の利益を主張している。
急速固化材料に使用するための複数コンポーネントスプレーガンは、発泡材料及びそれに類似した材料を塗布するのに一般的である。そのような塗布装置は、一般に、そうした材料の塗布に有効であるけれども、それらの装置は扱いにくいことが多く、また、分解及び清掃のために多くの工具や労力を要する。
複数コンポーネントスプレーガンは発泡材料その他の急速固化材料を噴霧するように設計されている。この目的のために、空気パージバージョンのガンは、最小の工具で容易に使用できるように設計されている。たとえば、サイドシールカートリッジは、保持リングを取り外して、それらのカートリッジをコイン又はドライバを用いて流体ハウジングからから引き抜くことによって、工具を使用せずに着脱可能である。カートリッジは容易に分解して清掃できる。
この発明の空気パージスプレーガンは、一般に、番号100で参照され、図1、2及び7にその全体が示されている。ガン100はガン本体1を有する。図2に見られるように、空気通路1aは全て機械加工及び保守の容易化のために視野方向に形成される。ピストン15が取り外されると、それぞれの通路の全体の長さが見え、ドリルビットを用いて容易に清掃することができる。
Claims (15)
- 急速固化複数コンポーネント材料用のスプレーガンであって、前記スプレーガンが、
ガン本体と、
空気キャップと、
前記ガンハウジングに着脱可能に取り付けられた流体ハウジングと、
第1及び第2のシールカートリッジと、
を有し、前記流体ハウジングは前記空気キャップをねじ係合によって受容するためのねじ面と、前記ねじ面における一般に対向した第1及び第2の半径方向ポートとを有し、
第1及び第2のシールカートリッジは摩擦及び前記空気キャップによって前記ポート内に保持されているスプレーガン。 - 急速固化複数コンポーネント材料用のスプレーガンであって、前記スプレーガンが、
第1及び第2の部材を有する押圧及び回転コネクタと、
ガン本体と、
混合チャンバを有する流体ハウジングと、
ロックリングと、
を有し、前記ガン本体はその中にスライド可能に配置されたピストンを有し、前記ピストン上には前記コネクタの第1の部材が配置され、
混合チャンバはその中にスライド可能に配置されるとともに前記流体ハウジングから後方へ延び、前記混合チャンバ上には前記コネクタの第2の部材が配置され、
ロックリングは前記ガン本体とねじ係合するように前記流体ハウジング上に配置され、前記ロックリングを回すとともに前記コネクタを回すことによって、前記流体ハウジング及び前記ガン本体が工具を使わずに分離できるようになっており、それによって、前記流体セクションが前記複数コンポーネント材料を大気に暴露させることなく前記ガン本体から取り外せるようになっているスプレーガン。 - 前記ガン本体内にある空気バルブと、
前記ガン本体の内部にある通路内に配置されたピストンと、
前記空気バルブと前記内部とを連結する複数の空気通路と、
をさらに有し、前記通路のそれぞれはまっすぐであり、前記ガン本体の外側から視野方向にアクセス可能である請求項1に記載のスプレーガン。 - 前記空気バルブはたった三つのシールで前記ガン本体に係合している請求項1に記載のスプレーガン。
- 前記空気バルブは前記ガン本体内のマフラーに連結されている請求項1に記載のスプレーガン。
- 前記流体ハウジングに着脱可能に取り付けられた流体マニホールドをさらに有し、前記流体マニホールドはO−リングによって流体ハウジングに対してシールされている請求項1に記載のスプレーガン。
- 流体マニホールドをさらに有し、前記流体マニホールドは本体と、複数コンポーネント材料の第1及び第2の要素に接続するための第1及び第2のバルブとを有し、前記第1及び第2のバルブのそれぞれが、
ワンピースのステムと、
前記マニホールドの本体に対してシール係合するシールと、
を有し、ステムはヘッド部を有し、開位置又は閉位置への操作ができるようになっている請求項1に記載のスプレーガン。 - 前記流体ハウジングに配置された混合チャンバをさらに有し、前記混合チャンバはチップと、前記チップに空気を導くためのクリーンオフ空気通路とを有している請求項1に記載のスプレーガン。
- 前記流体ハウジング内に配置された混合チャンバと、
前記流体ハウジング内に配置されたパージ空気通路と、
前記流体ハウジング内にあるグリース注入用管継手と、
を有し、グリース注入用管継手は前記パージ空気通路に連結され、保護材料を受容できるようになっている請求項1に記載のスプレーガン。 - 急速固化複数コンポーネント材料用のスプレーガンであって、前記スプレーガンが、
ガン本体と、
前記ガン本体内にあるピストンと、
前記ガン本体に取り付けられた流体ハウジングと、
前記ピストンから前記流体ハウジングを通って延びるパージロッドと、
混合モジュールと、
を有し、前記混合モジュール内には前記パージロッドが軸に沿って挿通されており、前記混合モジュールは複数コンポーネント材料の第1及び第2の要素に接続するための第1及び第2の組の流体通路を有し、前記通路のそれぞれは前記パージロッドに隣接する内側端部と、外側端部とを有し、前記通路の内側端部は前記軸に直交するほぼ同一の面内に配置されており、前記第1及び第2の組の通路の外側端部は前記軸に直交する異なる面内に配置されているスプレーガン。 - 急速固化複数コンポーネント材料用のスプレーガンであって、前記スプレーガンが、
ガン本体と、
前記ガン本体内にあるピストンと、
前記ガン本体に取り付けられた流体ハウジングと、
前記ピストンから前記流体ハウジングを通って延びるパージロッドと、
前記流体ハウジング内に配置された混合モジュールと、
保持リングと、
前記流体ハウジングにねじ係合によって取り付けられた空気キャップと、
を有し、前記混合モジュール内には前記パージロッドが軸に沿って挿通されており、
前記保持リングは前記混合モジュールを着脱可能に保持するために前記流体ハウジングに対してねじ係合によって取り付けられ、
前記空気キャップは前記空気キャップが取り外されたときに前記保持リングに係合させるためのラグを有し、前記保持リングを締め付けたり緩めたりすることができるようになっているスプレーガン。 - 前記ガン本体内にある空気バルブと、
前記ガン本体の内部にある通路内に配置されたピストンと、
前記空気バルブと前記内部とを連結する複数の空気通路と、
をさらに有し、前記通路のそれぞれはまっすぐであり、前記ガン本体の外側から視野方向にアクセス可能である請求項11記載のスプレーガン。 - 前記空気バルブはたった三つのシールで前記ガン本体に係合している請求項11に記載のスプレーガン。
