Claims (3)
- 画像を表示するために使用される活動表示ピクセルと、
ピクセル劣化を決定するために使用される試験用ピクセルとを備える電界放出ディスプレイの調整方法であって、
前記試験用ピクセルからの放出に関連した電流および照度の少なくとも一方を測定し、該測定の結果が予め設定された設定値と差がある場合に、当該差を減らすように、前記活動表示ピクセルと前記試験用ピクセルとの両方の供給電圧の調整を行い、前記測定の結果が前記設定値と等しい場合には前記供給電圧の調整は行わない、ことを特徴とする電界放出ディスプレイの調整方法。 - 前記試験用ピクセルが、前記活動表示ピクセルが設けられた活動表示領域の外に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出ディスプレイの調整方法。
- 前記試験用ピクセルは、前記活動表示ピクセルで画像を表示していない期間中に、使用されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電界放出ディスプレイの調整方法。
