ト段階中に、特にバルブ11付近において、燃料−空気混合物と返されてきた排ガスとが供給ライン24にてコークス化する現象が生じる。その他には特に絞り弁26、燃焼室25内にあるバルブ、または供給ライン23におけるその他の領域であって少なくとも一時的に比較的小さい自由な流れ断面積のみを境界付ける領域が該当する。図示する内燃機関2の燃焼室10にて燃料−空気混合物の燃焼が行なわれて、炭化水素、一酸化炭素、二酸化炭素、および窒素酸化物などを含有する排ガスが生じ、これはこの後排ガスライン3を介して導かれる。排ガス中に含有される有害物質は、下流に配置された浄化装置において部分的に触媒変換されてから環境中に排出される。これには、たとえば図示の構成要素であるフィルタ16、吸着器18および触媒コンバータ17が使用される。

Claims (15)
- 移動体用内燃機関(2)の排気装置(1)であって、少なくとも1つの排ガスライン(3)を備える排気装置において、
前記排ガスライン(3)が、排ガス中に含有される長鎖の炭化水素が中でクラッキングされる少なくとも1つの触媒活性反応室(4)を有することを特徴とする、排気装置(1)。 - 前記少なくとも1つの反応室(4)が、既に摂氏230度未満、特に摂氏100度未満の温度で長鎖の炭化水素をクラッキングするような高い酸性度を有する触媒(5)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の排気装置(1)。
- 前記触媒(5)が、ケイ酸アルミニウム(6)を活性化したものを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の排気装置(1)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの反応室(4)が、前記触媒(5)の担体として働く少なくとも1つのハニカム体(7)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の排気装置(1)。
- 前記ハニカム体(7)が、排ガスが中で貫流可能なチャネル(9)を形成するように積み重ねられかつ/または巻かれた複数の少なくとも部分的に構造化された板金層(8)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の排気装置(1)。
- 反応室(4)が排ガスの流れ方向(10)においてバルブ(11)の上流に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の排気装置(1)。
- 前記バルブ(11)が、排ガス返還系統(12)の一部であって排ガス返還ライン(13)での排ガスの貫流を調節することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の排気装置(1)。
- 排ガスの流れ方向(10)において前記少なくとも1つの反応室(4)の上流に排ガス冷却器(14)が配置され、かつ/または前記少なくとも1つの反応室(4)自体が冷却可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の排気装置(1)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの反応室(4)が、0.8リットル未満、特に0.5リットル未満、好ましくは0.2リットル未満の体積(15)を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の排気装置(1)。
- 前記排気装置(1)が、前記少なくとも1つの反応室(4)の上流および/または下流に設けられて排ガス中に含有の有害物質を転化するための構成要素(16,17,18)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の排気装置(1)。
- 排気装置(1)、特に請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の移動体用内燃機関(2)の排気装置(1)の動作方法であって、排ガス中に含有される長鎖の炭化水素が中でクラッキングされる少なくとも1つの触媒活性反応室(4)の中を排ガスが通される、方法。
- 前記反応室(4)内で少なくとも部分的にクラッキングされた排ガスが排ガス返還系統(12)に供給されて前記排ガス返還系統が部分排ガス流を再び内燃機関(2)に供給する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記反応室(4)内に入ってくる排ガスおよび/または前記反応室(4)自体が、前記
反応室(4)内で動作中に摂氏230度未満の温度を保証するように冷却される、請求項11または12に記載の方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの反応室(4)内において、排ガス中に含有される長鎖の炭化水素のうち少なくとも50%、特に少なくとも80%がクラッキングされ、前記反応室(4)内では好ましくは常圧が支配的である、請求項11から13のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 排ガスが、前記少なくとも1つの反応室(4)を貫流した後には、10個未満の炭素原子を有する短鎖の炭化水素分子のみを含有する、請求項11から14のいずれかに記載の方法。
