Abstract
Description
このとき、図1を参照しながら前述したように、再生装置は、ナビゲーション情報を参照して、サブピクチャーユニット(SPU)のグラフィックイメージの全部または一部をメインビデオのイメージに適切にブレンディング(Blending)した後、再生時間を基準にして多様に重畳表示するようになる。
しかし、BD−ROM等のような再生専用高密度光ディスクに記録されたグラフィックデータを效率的に管理するための方案が、いまだ用意されていない実情である。
本発明の他の実施形態では、パレット情報セグメントに関連するカラー情報に対する透明レベルを指すブレンディング比率を含む。
一つのメインピクチャー(Main Picture)イメージには対応するグラフィックイメージ(Graphic Image)が一つまたはそれ以上あって、各グラフィックイメージは相異なるサイズ(Size)と色の深さ(Color Depth)を有する。
したがって、本発明では、すべてのピクセル値が複数のピクセルグループに分類されて、各ピクセルグループ毎にブレンディング比率が割り当てられる。
例えば、本発明の実施形態を参照にして説明したように、スチール情報ファイルに提供されるナビゲーション情報を基礎にして、一つの停止映像または停止映像らが再生されることができる。
Claims (12)
- グラフィックデータの再生を管理するためのデータ構造を有する記録媒体であって、当該記録媒体は、
少なくとも一つ以上のグラフィックイメージ情報セグメントと、少なくとも一つ以上のパレット情報セグメントとを有するグラフィック情報領域を含む構成とされ、
ここで、
各パレット情報セグメントは、カラー情報を提供し、
各グラフィックイメージ情報セグメントは、一つまたはそれ以上のグラフィックイメージの再生のための再生情報を提供することを特徴とする記録媒体。 - 前記再生情報は、一つまたはそれ以上のグラフィックイメージを再生するときに用いるパレット情報セグメントを識別することを特徴とする請求項1記載の記録媒体。
- 二つまたはそれ以上のグラフィックイメージ情報セグメントは、同一なパレット情報セグメントを識別する再生情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項2記載の記録媒体。
- 前記各パレット情報セグメントは、識別子を有し、
前記再生情報は、前記パレット情報セグメントに対する識別子を利用してパレット情報セグメントを識別することを特徴とする請求項1記載の記録媒体。 - 前記パレット情報セグメントは、関連するカラー情報に対する不透明レベルを指すブレンディング比率を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の記録媒体。
- 前記パレット情報セグメントは、関連するカラー情報に対する透明レベルを指すブレンディング比率を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の記録媒体。
- 当該記録媒体は、再生専用ブルーレイディスク(BD−ROM)からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の記録媒体。
- 二つまたはそれ以上のグラフィックイメージ情報セグメントは、同一なパレット情報セグメントを共有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の記録媒体。
- グラフィックデータ再生を管理するためのデータ構造を記録媒体から再生する方法であって、当該方法は、
少なくとも一つ以上のグラフィックイメージ情報セグメントと、少なくとも一つ以上のパレット情報セグメントとを前記記録媒体から再生することにより構成され、

各パレット情報セグメントは、カラー情報を提供し、
各グラフィックイメージ情報セグメントは、一つまたはそれ以上のグラフィックイメージの再生のための再生情報を提供することを特徴とする方法。 - グラフィックデータの再生を管理するためのデータ構造を記録媒体から再生する装置であって、当該装置は、
前記記録媒体に記録されるデータを再生する光再生手段を駆動する駆動器と、
少なくとも一つ以上のグラフィックイメージ情報セグメントと、少なくとも一つ以上のパレット情報セグメントとを前記記録媒体から再生するように、前記駆動器を制御する制御器とを具え、

各パレット情報セグメントは、カラー情報を提供し、
各グラフィックイメージ情報セグメントは、一つまたはそれ以上のグラフィックイメージの再生のための再生情報を提供することを特徴とする装置。 - グラフィックデータの再生を管理するためのデータ構造を記録媒体に記録する方法であって、当該方法は、
少なくとも一つ以上のグラフィックイメージ情報セグメントと、少なくとも一つ以上のパレット情報セグメントとを前記記録媒体に記録することにより構成され、

前記記録媒体にデータを記録する光記録手段を駆動する駆動器と、
少なくとも多重再生経路ビデオデータをエンコードするためのエンコーダと、
少なくとも一つ以上のグラフィックイメージ情報セグメントと、少なくとも一つ以上のパレット情報セグメントとを前記記録媒体に記録するように前記駆動器を制御する制御器とを具え、
ここで、
各パレット情報セグメントは、カラー情報を提供し、
各グラフィックイメージ情報セグメントは、一つまたはそれ以上のグラフィックイメージの再生のための再生情報を提供することを特徴とする装置。
