Abstract
【解決手段】 弾性材よりなるリング部材と、該リング部材の内周がそれ自身の弾性力により密着する底面を有する環状溝を有するとともに該環状溝の底面で開口し電池缶内に連通する通路穴を有するコネクタを具備し、電池内で生じたガスにより電池内圧がある程度、例えば0.15MPaになると前記リング部材がガス圧により押し広げられてガスが漏出するようにした。

Description
なお、過充電や誤使用に起因して電池内圧が急激に上昇した場合は、前記弾性材のリング部材或は筒体の閉端側先端部は大きく変形或は破損して十分なガス漏出面積が得られるように設計することができる。即ちリング部材或は筒体は安全弁として機能する。そして、弾性材のリング部材或は筒体が破損或は劣化した場合には、これらは容易に交換することができる。

Claims (7)
- 正極と、負極と、非水電解質とが電池缶に収納されてなる二次電池において、弾性材よりなるリング部材と、該リング部材の内周がそれ自身の弾性力により密着する底面を有する環状溝を有するとともに該環状溝の底面で開口し電池缶内に連通する通路穴を有するコネクタを具備したことを特徴とする非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記リング部材が前記コネクタの環状溝に密着したコネクタをシールリングを介して電池缶蓋に螺着したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記リング部材が前記コネクタの環状溝に密着したコネクタをテーパねじ螺合により電池缶蓋に螺着したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 正極と、負極と、非水電解質とが電池缶に収納されてなる二次電池において、片側に開いた空洞を有し該空洞閉端側の閉端壁に該空洞に達する切込みを入れた弾性材よりなる筒体と、該筒体を嵌入させて保持するとともに前記筒体の空洞と電池缶内とを連通する穴を有するコネクタを具備したことを特徴とする非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記筒体の外径は少なくともその閉端側先端部付近で前記コネクタへの嵌入部が締り嵌めとされていることを特徴とする請求項4記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記筒体の空洞閉端側は閉端壁の厚さが前記切込み部で最小となるように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記筒体を保持したコネクタをテーパねじ螺合により電池缶蓋に螺着したことを特徴とする請求項4記載の非水電解質二次電池。
