Abstract
【解決手段】ガスシールドアーク溶接用ソリッドワイヤとして使用される鋼ワイヤの表面に,ナトリウム(Na),カリウム(K),カルシウム(Ca)及び亜鉛(Zn)からなる金属塩と非金属リン(P),そして,エステル基,カルボン酸基,アルカン基の中から選ばれた2種以上の作用基を有する炭化水素化合物を含有する表面処理油(oil)を付着させる。
本発明によると,特定の液状表面処理剤をソリッドワイヤに塗油することにより,従来のソリッドワイヤに比べて特に耐錆性及び送給性に優れたガスシールドアーク溶接用ソリッドワイヤを得ることができる。

(2) 液体潤滑剤に比べて耐錆性に劣る。
(3) ワイヤの外周面に塗布された固体潤滑剤が空気中の水分を吸湿し,溶接時に溶接金属中の水素量を多少増加させる。
(4) 固体潤滑剤が炭素系の潤滑剤である場合は,ヒューム(fume)量を増加させる。
ガスシールドアーク溶接用のソリッドワイヤ(鋼ワイヤ)に使用する表面処理油において,
ナトリウム(Na),カリウム(K),カルシウム(Ca)及び亜鉛(Zn)を含む金属塩と,非金属リン(P),及び,エステル基,カルボン酸基,及びアルカン基の中から選ばれた2種以上の作用基を有する炭化水素化合物とを含有する表面処理油(oil)を提供する。
第1発明の表面処理油(oil)が,その全体重量に対し,金属成分の換算値でNa+Ca 0.05〜0.85wt%,K 0.05〜0.70wt%,及びZn 0.02〜0.55wt%を含む金属塩と,P 0.10〜0.80wt%,及び,
前記炭化水素化合物97.10〜99.78wt%からなることを特徴とする表面処理油を提供する。
第1発明または第2発明の表面処理油(oil)を,溶接用ワイヤ1kg当り0.03〜0.60gになるようにワイヤの表面に付着させたことを特徴とする,ガスシールドアーク溶接用ソリッドワイヤを提供する。
Na及びCaは,それぞれ好ましくはNaスルフォネート,Caスルフォネートの形態で添加され,金属成分に換算した添加量が,2つの成分を合わせた値で0.05wt%未満であると,溶接用ワイヤの耐錆性が劣るようになる。そして,2つの成分を合わせた値が0.85wt%を超えると,ワイヤの表面に対する吸着性が劣るようになり,耐錆性を確保することができない。
Kは,好ましくはカルボン酸カリウム塩の形態で添加され,金属成分に換算した添加量が0.05wt%未満であると,溶接時に電離電圧を下げる役割を果たすことができずアークが不安定になり,これは送給性の低下に繋がる。そして,0.70wt%を超えると,アークの安定化に寄与することができず,送給に役に立たない。
Znは,好ましくはZnフォスフェートの形態で添加され,金属成分に換算した添加量が0.02wt%未満であると,ワイヤの表面上に円滑な保護膜を形成し難く,これは溶接時にワイヤの表面に傷を発生させる。また,0.55wt%を超えると,表面処理油の粘度を上昇させて均質な液体皮膜を得ることが困難になる。
Pは,好ましくはリン酸エステルの形態で添加され,P成分に換算した添加量が,0.10wt%未満であると,表面処理油がワイヤの表面に吸着する性質に劣るようになり,これは送給性の向上に役に立たない。また,0.80wt%を超えると,表面処理油の粘度を急激に上昇させて均質な液体皮膜を得ることが困難になる。従って,送給性の向上に役に立たない。
本発明に使用される炭化水素化合物は,エステル基,カルボン酸基,アルカン基の中から選ばれた2種以上の作用基を有する化合物であって,表面処理油内の金属塩等を溶解させ,ワイヤの表面に堅固な防錆膜と均質な液状皮膜を形成させることが主な役割である。その含量は,97.10〜99.78wt%の範囲内で使用され,ワイヤの耐錆性と送給性の向上に寄与する。
1. 試料0.05〜0.1gを250mlのビーカーに入れて硫酸10mlを添加する。
2. 350℃以上の加熱板(hot plate)で加熱分解(pyrolysis)の後,常温まで放冷させる。
3. 放冷後,塩酸:硝酸=3:1の比率で10ml添加し,加熱板で再び加熱分解した後,放冷させる。
4. 高純度定量濾過紙(No.5B)でろ過し,濾液は100mlメスフラスコに詰めて,測定用試料とする。
5. ICP-AESで定量分析する。
1. ワイヤを4〜6cmの長さに切り,50〜80g程度になるように用意する。
2. 用意されたワイヤを,1g/10000天秤で脱脂前の重量(Wb)を測定する(小数点以下4桁)。
3. 250mlのビーカーに四塩化炭素(CCl4) 150mlを用意する。
4. 用意されたワイヤを四塩化炭素の入っているビーカーに入れて,10分間超音波脱脂を行う。
5. 脱脂したワイヤをドライオーブンに入れて10分間乾燥し,デシケーターで常温に冷却させる。
6. ワイヤが乾燥した後,1g/10000の天秤で脱脂後の重量(Wa)を測定する(小数点以下4桁)。
7. 測定されたWb値とWa値に基づき,次のように表面処理油の塗油量を計算する。
〔数式1〕 表面処理油の塗油量(g/w・kg)={(Wb−Wa)/Wa}×1000
塩水噴霧試験の条件を表2のように設定し,60分経過時の錆発生の有無を観察した。錆が発生すると耐錆性を×と表記し,錆の発生がないと○と表記した。
送給性試験の条件を表3のように設定し,送給程度に対するレベルを評価した。100秒未満で送給が中断されアークが切れると×,100秒以上持続的な溶接が可能であると○と表記した。
Claims (3)
- ガスシールドアーク溶接用のソリッドワイヤに使用する表面処理油において,
ナトリウム(Na),カリウム(K),カルシウム(Ca)及び亜鉛(Zn)を含む金属塩と,非金属リン(P),及び,エステル基,カルボン酸基,アルカン基の中から選ばれた2種以上の作用基を有する炭化水素化合物とを含有する表面処理油。 - 全体重量に対し,金属成分の換算値でNa+Ca 0.05〜0.85wt%,K 0.05〜0.70wt%,及びZn 0.02〜0.55wt%を含む金属塩と,P 0.10〜0.80wt%,及び,
前記炭化水素化合物97.10〜99.78wt%からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表面処理油。 - 請求項1又は2記載の表面処理油を,溶接用ワイヤ1kg当り0.03〜0.60gになるようにワイヤの表面に付着させたことを特徴とするガスシールドアーク溶接用ソリッドワイヤ。
