Abstract
【解決手段】冷却用ファン(14)は、空気流を生成するように構成されたロータ(24)を備える。冷却用ファン(14)は、ロータ(24)によって生成された空気流を受け入れ、その空気流をロータ(24)に関して実質的に軸方向に向けるように構成された出口案内翼(26)をさらに備える。冷却用ファン(14)は、出口案内翼(26)から出た空気流を受け入れ、ディフューザ(34)入口より高い静圧を有する空気流を生成するディフューザ(34)をさらに備える。冷却用ファン(14)は、1.6より大きい仕事係数、および0.4以上の流量係数を達成する。

Claims (10)
- 空気流を生成するように構成されたロータ(24)と、
ロータ(24)によって生成された空気流を受け入れ、その空気流を実質的にロータ(24)に関して軸方向に向けるように構成された出口案内翼(26)と、
出口案内翼(26)から出た空気流を受け入れ、ディフューザ(34)の入口より高い静圧を有する空気流を生成するように構成されたディフューザ(34)と
を備える、冷却用ファン(14)であって、
1.6より大きい仕事係数、および0.4以上の流量係数を達成する、筐体(12)内の電子構成部品を冷却するための冷却用ファン(14)。 - 電子構成部品が発生する熱を発散するように構成された蒸気チャンバ(36)をさらに備える、請求項1記載の冷却用ファン(14)。
- ロータ(24)がロータハブ(32)および複数の動翼(30)を備える、請求項1記載の冷却用ファン(14)。
- ロータハブ(32)の半径が、動翼の前縁から動翼の後縁に向かって増加している、請求項3記載の冷却用ファン(14)。
- 出口案内翼(26)が、エリアルールが成立するように構成されている、請求項1記載の冷却用ファン(14)。
- 空気流を生成するためにロータを駆動するステップ(44)と、
出口案内翼を介して、前記ロータで生成された空気流を受け入れ、その空気流を実質的に前記ロータに関して軸方向に向けるステップと、
出口案内翼から出た前記空気流を受け入れ、ディフューザの入口より高い静圧を有する空気流を生成するステップと
を有する方法であって、
1.6より大きい仕事係数、および0.4以上の流量係数を達成する、冷却用ファン(14)を介して筐体内部の電子構成部品を冷却する方法(42)。 - 500,000以下のレイノルズ数で冷却用ファンを作動させるステップをさらに含む、請求項6記載の方法(42)。
- 100,000以下のレイノルズ数で冷却用ファンを作動させるステップをさらに含む、請求項6記載の方法(42)。
- 吸入口を介して前記ロータに空気を導くステップ(46)をさらに含む、請求項6記載の方法(42)。
- 前記空気流を電子装置を冷却するために使用する(52)、請求項6記載の方法(42)。
