Abstract
【解決手段】 再生処理手段に活性良否判定部を設ける。活性良否判定部は、予め設定された限界酸素濃度と酸素濃度検出手段が検出した酸素濃度との比較に基づいて、ディーゼルスモーク浄化手段の触媒浄化性能を判定する。この活性良否判定部の判定に基づいて、当該フィルタ再生処理の実行を禁止可能に制御する禁止部を設ける。所定の場合には禁止部がフィルタ再生処理の実行を禁止するので、ディーゼルスモーク浄化手段による再生能力が低下しているときに再生処理が実行されるのを回避することが可能になる。

Claims (4)
- 触媒機能を有し、かつディーゼルスモークの排気微粒子を捕集するディーゼルスモーク浄化手段と、
このディーゼルスモーク浄化手段に排気ガスを排出するエンジン本体と、
このエンジン本体の各気筒に設けられた燃料噴射装置と、
燃料噴射装置の少なくとも燃料噴射量と燃料噴射タイミングとを制御する燃料噴射制御手段と、
前記ディーゼルスモーク浄化手段に捕集された排気微粒子の捕集排気微粒子量を検出する捕集排気微粒子量検出手段と、
捕集排気微粒子量検出手段に検出された捕集排気微粒子量が予め設定された再生開始閾値以上の場合には、未燃焼の燃料を排気系統に供給するために燃料噴射装置が膨張行程から排気行程の間に燃料を噴射する後噴射を実行するように燃料噴射制御手段を制御する再生処理手段と
を備えているディーゼルエンジンであって、
前記ディーゼルスモーク浄化手段の排気下流における酸素濃度を検出する酸素濃度検出手段を設け、
前記再生処理手段は、予め設定された限界酸素濃度と酸素濃度検出手段が検出した酸素濃度との比較に基づいて、ディーゼルスモーク浄化手段の触媒浄化性能を判定する活性良否判定部と、活性良否判定部の判定に基づいて、当該フィルタ再生処理の実行を禁止可能に制御する禁止部とを有しているものであることを特徴とするディーゼルエンジン。 - 請求項1記載のディーゼルエンジンにおいて、
前記ディーゼルスモーク浄化手段は、エンジンから排出される排気微粒子を捕集するパティキュレートフィルタと、このパティキュレートフィルタよりも排気経路の上流側に配置された酸化触媒とを含んでいるものであることを特徴とするディーゼルエンジン。 - 請求項1または2記載のディーゼルエンジンにおいて、
前記再生処理手段の禁止部は、酸素濃度検出手段が検出した酸素濃度が予め設定された限界酸素濃度を下回った場合には、フィルタ再生処理の実行を禁止するものであることを特徴とするディーゼルエンジン。 - 請求項3記載のディーゼルエンジンにおいて、
前記禁止部は、酸素濃度検出手段が検出した酸素濃度が、予め限界酸素濃度よりも高く設定された再開酸素濃度以上になった場合には、フィルタ再生処理の実行禁止を解除するものであることを特徴とするディーゼルエンジン。
