例えば市街地で加減速を繰り返したときのベッド温度の変化を図6に示すと、このときベッド温度Tbedは運転条件の変化に応じて波打つが、これに対してベッド温度一次遅れ処理値rTbedはこうした加減速の影響を受けない動きをする。rTbedの初期値としてはベッド温度Tbedの算出開始時にその温度Tbedを入れている。ベッド温度一次遅れ処理値rTbedは加重平均係数aを大きくするほどベッド温度Tbedに近づき、加重平均係数aを小さくするほどベッド温度Tbedより離れるので、このaの値は実験により最適な値に適合する。
ただし、fIDLE ;fIDLETの今回値、

例えば市街地で加減速を繰り返したときのアイドル頻度一次遅れ処理値fIDLEの変化を図7に示すと、このときアイドル頻度IDLEは運転条件の変化に応じて100%となったり0%となったりするが、これに一次遅れ処理を施した値であるアイドル頻度一次遅れ処理値fIDLEはこうした加減速の動きをならした動きになる。アイドル頻度一次遅れ処理値fIDLEの初期値としてはアイドル判定開始時のアイドル頻度IDLEを入れている。アイドル頻度一次遅れ処理値fIDLEは加重平均係数bを大きくするほどアイドル頻度IDLEに近づき、加重平均係数bを小さくするほどアイドル頻度IDLEより離れるので、この値は実験により最適な値に適合する。
ベッド温度一次遅れ処理値rTbedが所定温度T2(≒600℃)よりも高くかつアイドル頻度一次遅れ処理値fIDLEがほぼ50%より小さい領域である。ベッド温度一次遅れ処理値rTbedがT2以上であってもアイドル頻度一次遅れ処理値fIDLEが50%より大きい領域で完全再生モードを選択しないのは次の理由からである。すなわち、アイドル頻度一次遅れ処理値fIDLEが50%を超えて大きいことは、アイドル状態にあった、つまり郊外での走行や市街地走行がされていた可能性が高く、従ってこれから暫くも同じ郊外での走行や市街地走行がされるだけで高速走行が行われることがないことを表すからである。
ベッド温度一次遅れ処理値rTbedが所定温度T1(≒400℃)以上で所定温度T2未満にある温度域である。ただし、アイドル頻度一次遅れ処理値fIDLEが100%に近い温度域は再生禁止モードの領域である。
ベッド温度一次遅れ処理値rTbedが所定温度T1未満でかつアイドル頻度一次遅れ処理値fIDLEがほぼ70%を超えない一部領域である。
アイドル頻度一次遅れ処理値fIDLEが小さくてもベッド温度一次遅れ処理値rTbedが小さい領域やベッド温度一次遅れ処理値rTbedが高くてもアイドル頻度一次遅れ処理値fIDLEが大きい領域である。

Claims (5)
- 排気中のパティキュレートを捕集するフィルタと、
アイドル状態にあるか否かの判定結果を数値に変換した値をアイドル頻度とし、このアイドル頻度に対して一次遅れ処理を施した値を運転パターンとして記憶する運転パターン記憶手段と、
この記憶した運転パターンと前記フィルタのフィルタ温度とに基づいて完全再生処理方法を設定する完全再生処理方法設定手段と、
その設定した完全再生処理方法を用いてフィルタの再生処理を行う再生処理実行手段と
を備えることを特徴とする排気浄化装置。 - 前記フィルタ温度として、その一次遅れ処理値を用いる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。 - 前記アイドル頻度は、その数値が大きいときアイドル状態であることを、その数値が小さいときアイドル状態にないことを表し、このアイドル頻度に対して一次遅れ処理を施した値が所定値以下でかつ前記フィルタ温度の一次遅れ処理値が所定の温度以上のとき、完全再生処理方法を設定する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排気浄化装置。 - 前記フィルタ温度は前記フィルタの入口温度、フィルタの出口温度、燃料噴射量のうちのいずれかを用いて求めた温度である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から3までのいずれか一つに記載の排気浄化装置。 - 前記記憶した運転パターンが完全再生に適した運転パターンであるか否かの判定を一定時間毎に行う、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から4までのいずれか一つに記載の排気浄化装置。
