Abstract
【解決手段】 カムシャフト5を迂回するように配置されて、該カムシャフトの駆動カム5aの回転に伴い揺動アーム24を介して制御軸26を中心に揺動することにより各吸気弁3,3を開閉作動させる弁駆動部材8を備えている。リフト可変機構9は、制御軸に設けられた制御カム27の回転位置に応じて、両端部の各ローラ29,30を介して前記揺動アームが支軸23を中心に揺動し、これによって弁駆動部材の揺動支点を変化させて、吸気弁のリフト量を可変制御するようにした。

Description
該カムシャフトの外周面に沿って折曲形成されて機関弁の押圧部に当接する鉤状部位を有し、第1揺動支点を中心に揺動することにより前記機関弁を開閉作動させる弁駆動部材と、
機関の運転状態に応じて駆動制御される制御カムと、
前記弁駆動部材に設けられた第2揺動支点を中心に揺動自在に支持され、一端側が前記駆動カムに当接し、他端側が前記制御カムに当接する揺動アームと、
該揺動アームの一端を前記駆動カム側に付勢すると共に、前記揺動アームの他端を前記制御カム側に付勢する付勢部材とを備え、
前記駆動カムを前記機関弁毎にそれぞれ独立して設けて該各駆動カムの回転駆動力を前記弁駆動部材を介して各機関弁に伝達すると共に、前記制御カムを駆動することにより前記機関弁のリフト量を可変制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
また、可変動弁装置を排気弁側のみあるいは両方に設けることも可能である。

Claims (3)
- クランクシャフトによって回転駆動し、外周に駆動カムが設けられたカムシャフトと、
該カムシャフトの外周面を迂回するように折曲形成されて機関弁の押圧部に当接する鉤状部位を有し、前記機関弁の押圧部に対して押圧移動することにより該機関弁を開閉作動させる弁駆動部材と、
前記駆動カムから前記弁駆動部材に動力を伝達して該弁駆動部材を作動させると共に、外部から動力を与えることによって前記弁駆動部材の運動軌跡を変化させて前記機関弁のリフト量を可変にするリフト可変機構と、
を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - クランクシャフトによって回転駆動し、外周に駆動カムが設けられたカムシャフトと、
該カムシャフトの外周面を迂回するように折曲形成されて機関弁の押圧部に当接する鉤状部位を有し、第1揺動支点を中心に揺動することにより前記機関弁を開閉作動させる弁駆動部材と、
機関の運転状態に応じて回転制御される制御カムと、
前記弁駆動部材に設けられた第2揺動支点を中心に揺動自在に支持され、一端側が前記駆動カムに当接し、他端側が前記制御カムに当接する揺動アームと、
該揺動アームの一端を前記駆動カム側に付勢すると共に、前記揺動アームの他端を前記制御カム側に付勢する付勢部材とを備え、
前記制御カムを駆動することにより機関弁のリフト量を可変制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - 前記第1揺動支点に前記制御カムを設け、該制御カムを機関の運転状態に応じて回転制御したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
