Abstract
【解決手段】 高圧発生用電源7からパルス高電圧を印加して、放電電極5と対極6との間の放電により光触媒を励起させる。また、光触媒を担持する繊維12と、この繊維12を挟み込む保持体11とを備え、保持体11は電極の一方である放電電極5を構成している。光触媒を担持する担体が繊維12であるので、多孔質材料を形成するよりも簡単で且つ製造や取り扱いが容易である。また割れや欠けを生じてその欠片で管2が詰まったりすることがないため、故障やメンテナンスの必要性が少なく、水中における有機物の分解を効果的に行なうことができる。

Claims (1)
- 触媒と、電極間の放電により前記触媒を励起させる放電装置とを備えた触媒反応装置において、
前記触媒を担持する繊維と、この繊維を挟み込む保持体とを備え、前記保持体は前記電極を構成することを特徴とする触媒反応装置。
