Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a composite metal material used for a metal shaft, a metal bearing, a moving table, a roller, a mold and the like having a small surface friction coefficient and excellent lubricity, a method for manufacturing the same, and a molding die for an optical disc It is.
However, in
When fullerene is coated on the metal surface to reduce the friction of bearings and molds, the initial performance with fullerene coating is good, but if fullerene peels off due to secular change, the initial performance will deteriorate. is there.

Since the diameter distribution varies, there is a problem that a certain degree of unevenness is generated on the surface and contact is made at the convex part, and the force concentrates on the convex part and the diamond fine particles at the convex part are broken. When it is used for sliding or frictional parts such as a bearing or a moving table to reduce friction, the broken diamond particles are scattered and become a problem.
Another problem is that the diameter has a certain size. In an optical disk molding die, there is a problem when a metal on which the diamond fine particles are co-deposited is coated on the die surface by the method of
The current shape of CD or DVD is not a problem, but if the density increases in the future, the pattern will be 100 nm or less. In this case, since the diameter of the diamond fine particle and the pattern size are approximately the same on the mold surface, the diameter size of the diamond fine particle causes the pattern size fluctuation, and the pattern size fluctuation causes the fluctuation of the reproduction signal in the optical disc. is there.

In the invention described in
According to the present invention, since the metal surface is coated with the metal layer containing fullerene or fullerene derivative, the fullerene or fullerene derivative becomes a lubricant, and the effect of reducing the friction of the surface can be obtained.
Further, since fullerene or fullerene derivative is encapsulated in the metal, it is possible to prevent the fullerene or fullerene derivative from being contaminated without being scattered. Further, since fullerene or fullerene derivative is used, the diameter is as small as about 0.7 nm, and the surface shape fluctuation can be reduced.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of pattern variation in the present invention. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of pattern variation in
In FIG. 1, the metal surface is composed of a metal containing fullerene or a fullerene derivative. Therefore, the fullerene or fullerene derivative serves as a lubricant, and the surface friction can be reduced. Compared with the case where fullerene is adhered as in

Therefore, since the fullerene diameter is uniform, the unevenness formed by the presence of fullerene is constant, and the force does not concentrate only on the large convex portion. Further, since the diameter size is smaller by one digit than that of the diamond fine particles shown in FIG. 2, the pattern of about 100 nm is not changed. That is, it is possible to manufacture a mold for molding an optical disk substrate corresponding to a case where a pattern of 100 nm or less is developed in the future as the density of a CD or DVD increases.
Here, fullerene is C60 in chemical formula. Fullerene derivatives include C70 and C60H60, and C60HBr and C60H (OH).

Alternatively, in the case of a mold having large irregularities, fullerene or fullerene derivative is uniformly attached by a spray method. Other solutions for dissolving fullerene or fullerene derivatives include toluene and hexane.

Next, Ni ions are reduced by the reaction between the reducing agent in the plating solution and Pd, and a Ni metal film is formed. Using this electroless Ni film as an electrode, electrolytic plating is performed with a nickel sulfamate solution.
Finally, peeling is performed at the interface between the mold and the electroless Ni film to obtain a molding die. The mold thus produced has good releasability due to fullerene on the surface. Further, since fullerene is contained in Ni metal, fullerene is rarely peeled off.

FIG. 17 is a schematic view showing an electroless plating apparatus. A deep UV resist is formed on the
A Pd—Sn complex, which is a catalytic metal, is applied to the surface on which the pattern is formed, Sn is further dissolved, and Pd is generated on the surface by an oxidation-reduction reaction. Next, Ni ions are reduced by a reaction between the reducing agent in the plating solution and Pd to form a Ni metal film.
At this time, a plating solution having a high content of fullerene is first applied to the
At this time, the
In this manner, an electroless plated Ni film having a high fullerene content and a gradually lower content is formed. Next, electrolytic plating is performed with a nickel sulfamate solution using the electroless Ni film as an electrode. Finally, peeling is performed at the interface between the mold and the electroless Ni film to obtain a mold for molding an optical disk substrate.
When an optical disk substrate molding die on which the above pattern is formed is made by a conventional method that does not contain fullerene, the pattern size is small, so that the mold release property is poor when transferring the optical disk substrate by molding, and the pattern is peeled off. Deformation occurs, resulting in an optical disk substrate having a shape different from that of the mold. Moreover, it is difficult to shorten the molding transfer time.
On the other hand, since the mold produced in Example 2 has fullerene on the surface, the mold release property is good and the molding transfer time can be shortened.
A mold made of diamond fine particles instead of fullerene also exhibits the same effect as fullerene, but the diameter of the diamond fine particles is about 10% of the groove width and depth, resulting in pattern fluctuations. Variation occurs.
However, in the case of fullerene, since the diameter is as small as 0.7 nm, pattern variation is not remarkable. Even if a pattern variation is detected in the optical disc signal, noise with a constant frequency is detected because the fullerene diameter is constant at 0.7 nm. Therefore, there is no problem because the frequency component of the noise may be removed by the band pass filter.

A DeepUV resist is formed on the
A Ni film is formed on the resist substrate by sputtering, Ni is electroplated using the Ni film as an electrode, and peeling is performed at the Ni interface with the resist substrate to produce a master mold. After the surface of the master mold is plasma cleaned, Ni is electroplated and peeled off from the master mold to produce a mother mold.
The surface of the mother mold is subjected to plasma cleaning, and then an orthodichlorobenzene solution in which fullerene is dissolved is spin-coated so that the fullerene is uniformly attached to the surface of the mother mold. The mother mold is again subjected to electrolytic plating of Ni and peeled from the mother mold to obtain a target mold for optical disc substrate molding.
When an optical disk substrate molding die on which the above pattern is formed is made by a conventional method that does not contain fullerene, the pattern size is small, so that the mold release property is poor when transferring the optical disk substrate by molding, and the pattern is peeled off.
