Abstract
Description
ここで用いられる「水蒸気透過率」(WVTR)という用語は概して、24時間で平方メートル当たりのグラム単位(g/m2/24時)で計測された場合の、水蒸気が材料を通して透過する割合を意味する。材料のWVTRを求めるために使用される試験は、材料の性質に基づき種々異ならせることができる。例えば幾つかの実施形態において、WVTRは一般的に、ASTM Standard E−96E−80によって求めることができる。この試験は、約3,000g/m2/24時までのWVTRを持つと考えられる材料に特によく適するものである。WVTRを計測するための別の技術は、PERMATRAN−W100K水蒸気透過分析システムの使用を含み、これはミネソタ州ミネアポリスにあるModern Controls,Inc.より商業的に入手可能である。このシステムは、約3,000g/m2/24時より大きいWVTRを持つと考えられる材料に特定的によく適することができる。しかしながら当業者によく知られているように、WVTRの計測に他のシステム及び技術も、本発明に利用されることができることが理解されるべきである。

Claims (33)
- 基体本体からなるエラストマー性手袋であって、前記基体本体は、少なくとも1つの通気性領域及び少なくとも1つの湿分不透過性領域を定め、前記湿分不透過性領域はエラストマー性材料を含み、前記通気性領域は、前記湿分不透過性領域の水蒸気透過率より少なくとも約15%大きい水蒸気透過率を持ち、前記通気性領域は、約250グラム/平方メートル/24時より大きい湿分蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とする手袋。
- 前記湿分不透過性領域は、約500グラム/平方メートル/24時より小さい水蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記湿分不透過性領域は、約250グラム/平方メートル/24時より小さい水蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域は、約1000グラム/平方メートル/24時より大きい水蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域は、約3000グラム/平方メートル/24時より大きい水蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域は、約5000グラム/平方メートル/24時より大きい水蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域は、前記湿分不透過性領域の水蒸気透過率より少なくとも約50%大きい水蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域は、前記湿分不透過性領域の水蒸気透過率より少なくとも約100%大きい水蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記基体本体は、手のひら側、手の甲側、及び指領域を形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域は、前記手の甲側の少なくとも一部分を構成することを特徴とする請求項9に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記湿分不透過性領域は、前記指領域、前記手のひら側、又はこれらの組み合わせの少なくとも一部分を構成することを特徴とする請求項9に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域は、前記湿分不透過性領域を形成する材料と異なる少なくとも1つの材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域は、通気性フィルムからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域は、前記湿分不透過性領域に密封シールされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域は、前記湿分不透過性領域と同一の材料から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記エラストマー性材料は、ポリウレタンであることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域の厚さは、前記湿分不透過性領域の厚さより少なくとも約25%小さいことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記通気性領域の厚さは、前記湿分不透過性領域の厚さの約50%から約95%小さいことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記基体本体の少なくとも一部分は、浸漬形成処理により形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 更に、前記湿分不透過性領域の内側表面に重なるドーニング層を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 更に、前記ドーニング層を覆う潤滑材を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 基体本体からなり、前記基体本体は、少なくとも1つの通気性領域及び少なくとも1つの湿分不透過性領域を定め、前記湿分不透過性領域は、エラストマー性材料を含み、前記通気性領域は、前記湿分不透過性領域の水蒸気透過率より少なくとも約100%大きい水蒸気透過率を持ち、前記通気性領域は、約3000グラム/平方メートル/24時より大きい湿分蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とするエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記湿分不透過性領域は、約500グラム/平方メートル/24時より小さい水蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とする請求項22に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記湿分不透過性領域は、約250グラム/平方メートル/24時より小さい水蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とする請求項22に記載のエラストマー性手袋。

- 前記通気性領域は、前記湿分不透過性領域と同じ材料から形成されることを特徴とする請求項22に記載のエラストマー性手袋。

- 前記通気性領域は、5000グラム/平方メートル/24時より大きい水蒸気透過率を持つことを特徴とする請求項31に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
- 前記基体本体の少なくとも一部分は、浸漬形成処理によって形成されることを特徴とする請求項31に記載のエラストマー性手袋。
