Abstract
Description
a)コーティングされる基板を、使用する最高温度より20℃以上低い温度で安定化させること、
b)基板の温度をプラスチックが弱化する温度に到達しないように注意しながら、コーティングを形成すること、
c)コーティングに求められる厚さや他の特性により、必要であれば、再度a)とb)の操作を行うこと
から連続してなる操作を含む。
バイエルよりマクロロン(登録商標)として販売されている厚さ4mmの300×850mmのポリカーボネートシートに、プラズマCVDによりコーティングを付着させる。
Claims (11)
- 少なくともコーティングされた基板の使用最高温度より20℃低い温度と同程度の温度で行われることを特徴とするプラスチック基板の少なくとも一部にコーティングを形成する方法。
- プラズマCVDを使用することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくともコーティングされた基板の使用最高温度と同程度の温度で行われることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- プラスチックが弱化する温度より低い温度で行われることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- プラスチックが弱化する温度にできるだけ近い温度で行われることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 冷却手段を用いることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- コーティングがいくつかの段階で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- a)コーティングされる基板を、少なくとも使用する最高温度より20℃低い温度に等しい温度で安定化させ、
b)基板の温度をプラスチックが弱化する温度に到達しないように注意しながら、コーティングを形成し、
c)コーティングに求められる厚さや他の特性により、必要であれば、再度a)とb)の操作を行う
の連続して構成される操作からなることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 基板がポリカーボネートから作られ、前記方法が少なくとも120℃に等しい温度で行われることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングの平均厚さが少なくとも2μmであり、好ましくは少なくとも4μmであり、特には少なくとも6μmであることを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法のように形成されたコーティングにより提供されるプラスチック基板を含む製品。
- 特に地上、海あるいは空中の車両用、特には自動車用の、車両のボディーパーツ、通気口などや、窓ガラス、建設業用または街路備品用の窓ガラス、ヘルメット用の安全窓または耐熱性を要求されるタイプの窓ガラスなどのタイプのプラスチック部品としての請求項10に記載の製品の応用。
