- 請求項1〜21いずれか1項記載の光学可変素子を備えたホイル。
- 干渉によって色彩が変化する少なくとも1つのスペーサ層(15a、15b)を備えた薄膜層複合体を基体の上に形成して成る光学可変素子を製造するプロセスであって、
前記薄膜層複合体の第1領域(19c、19d)における前記スペーサ層(15a、15b)の層厚を第2領域(19a、19b)における層厚と違えて形成し、前記第1領域(19c、19d)において、第1の色彩の変化が干渉によって生じ、前記第2領域(19a、19b)において、前記第1の色彩の変化と異なる第2の色彩の変化が生じるよう、前記第1および第2領域(19a〜19d)における前記スペーサ層の層厚を選択することを特徴とするプロセス。 - 2つ以上の部分層を相互重畳して前記スペーサ層を形成することにより、前記薄膜層複合体の第1領域(19c、19d)における前記スペーサ層が2つ以上の部分層(15a、15b)によって形成され該部分層の層厚が加算され、前記第2領域(19a、19b)における前記スペーサ層が前記部分層の1つ(15a)のみによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項24記載のプロセス。
- 1つ以上の前記部分層を蒸着によって形成することを特徴とする請求項24記載のプロセス。
- 2つ以上の部分層を形状の異なるマスクを用いた蒸着により形成することを特徴とする請求項24記載のプロセス。
- 1つ以上の前記部分層を印刷プロセスによって形成することを特徴とする請求項24記載のプロセス。
- マルチプル・ローラ・アセンブリーにより、層厚がランダムに変化するスペーサ層を前記基体の上に印刷することを特徴とする請求項24記載のプロセス。
- 整合を取って層厚が異なる幾つかのパターンを前記基体の上に印刷することを特徴とする請求項24記載のプロセス。
