Claims (11)
- 複数の無線送受信ユニット(WTRU)を有する通信システムであって、
アイドル状態にある間に、選択されたチャネルを監視するように構成されるレシーバと、
前記選択されたチャネルに関する情報を格納するためのメモリと、
前記格納された情報を前記WTRUから適切な時間に送信するためのトランスミッタと、
前記複数の各WTRUの速度および距離を、前記格納された情報を使用して計算する手段とを備えることを特徴とする通信システム。 - 前記送信するステップは、以前の3つのWTRUアクセスからの情報を送信するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の通信システム。
- 前記情報は、パスロス、セクタ識別、電力、および獲得時間のうち少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の通信システム。
- 前記共通チャネルは一意セクタ識別子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の通信システム。
- 前記パスロスは地方または郊外環境係数から決定されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の通信システム。
- 前記距離はcost−231 Hataモデルによって計算されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の通信システム。
- 前記距離は平面地上伝搬モデルによって計算されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の通信システム。
- 前記距離は自由空間モデルによって計算されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の通信システム。
- 1つまたは複数のセクタをトラバースするWTRUの速度、方向および距離を決定するための方法であって、各セクタは少なくとも1つの共通チャネルを有し、前記方法は、
アイドル状態にある間に、各トラバースされたセクタの前記少なくとも1つのチャネルを監視するステップと、
各ビーコンチャネルに関する情報を格納するステップと、
前記格納された情報を前記WTRUから適切な時間に送信するステップと、
三角測量および前記情報を使用して、前記WTRUの速度および距離を計算するステップとを備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記送信するステップは、少なくとも3つの以前のWTRUアクセスからの情報を送信するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記情報は、パスロス、セクタ識別、電力、および獲得時間のうち少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
