Description
Claims (16)
- 高圧燃料ポンプ(12)の手段により燃料が充填されるように配置され、かつ第1の噴射可能な圧力レベルで燃料を複数の燃料噴射器(22)へ供給する蓄圧容積室(10)から成る燃料噴射システムであって、
それぞれの噴射器(22)は、送出流路(16、20)、燃料噴射を制御するために弁座と係合自在な弁ニードル(30)、および弁ニードル(30)の動きを制御するように制御室(28)内の燃料圧力を制御する制御弁(26)を備え、制御弁(26)は、制御室(28)が低圧ドレンと連通し、かつ制御室(28)と送出流路(16、20)との間の連通が妨げられる第1の作動位置と、および制御室(28)が送出流路(16、20)と連通し、かつ制御室(28)と低圧ドレンとの間の連通が妨げられる第2の作動位置とを有し、および
それぞれの噴射器(22)は、噴射器(22)へ供給される燃料の圧力を第2の噴射可能な圧力レベルまで高める付属の増圧器手段(34)を有し、その増圧器手段(34)は、エンジンへ噴射される燃料が第1または第2の噴射可能な圧力レベルであるかどうかを決めるように作動可能な増圧器制御弁手段(36)を備える、燃料噴射システム。 - 増圧器手段(34)は、圧力制御室(32、42)を有する増圧器ピストン(38)と、増圧器室(40)とを備え、増圧器制御弁手段(36)は、圧力制御室(32、42)内で燃料圧力を制御するように、かつ、このために増圧器室(40)内の燃料圧力を制御するように作動可能である、請求項1に記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 圧力制御室(32)は、増圧器ピストン(38)の一端部において形成される、請求項2に記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 増圧器ピストン(38)は、圧力制御室(32)内の燃料圧力を受ける第1の表面部分、および増圧器室(40)内の燃料圧力を受ける第2の表面部位を有し、第1の表面部位は、第2の表面部位よりも大きいので、増圧器制御弁手段(36)の制御を受けて、増圧器室(40)内の燃料圧力を第2の噴射可能な圧力レベルまで高めることができる、請求項3に記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 圧力制御室は、増圧器ピストン(38)の対向する端部間に形成される、増圧器手段(34)の中間室(42)である、請求項2に記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 増圧器室(40)内の燃料圧力は、中間室(42)内の燃料圧力が第1の噴射可能な圧力レベル未満まで低下される状況において、第2の噴射可能な圧力レベルまで高められる、請求項5に記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 増圧器制御弁手段(36)は、第1と第2の作動位置を有する二位置弁部材(136)を備え、第1の作動位置において、弁部材(136)が、第1の弁座(142)と係合し、かつ第2の弁座(144)から離脱され、および第2の作動位置において、弁部材(136)が、第1の弁座(142)から離脱され、かつ第2の弁座(144)と係合する、請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 弁部材(136)は、送出流路(16、20)と圧力制御室(32、42)との間の連通を制御するように第2の弁座(144)と係合自在であるので、弁部材(136)が、第2の弁座(144)と係合するときに、送出流路(16、20)は圧力制御室(32、42)と連通できないし、また弁部材(136)が、第2の弁座(144)から離間するときに、送出流路(16、20)は圧力制御室(32、42)と連通できる、請求項7に記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 弁部材(136)は、圧力制御室(32、42)と低圧ドレン(168)との間の連通を制御するように第1の弁座(142)と係合自在であるので、弁部材(136)が、第1の弁座(142)と係合するときに、圧力制御室(32、42)は低圧ドレン(168)と連通できないし、また弁部材(136)が、第1の弁座(142)から離間するときに、圧力制御室(32、42)は低圧ドレン(138)と連通できるし、および弁部材(136)の第1と第2の作動位置において、送出流路(16、20)は低圧ドレン(168)と連通できない、請求項8に記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 第2の弁座(144)は、切頭円錐形態のものである、請求項7乃至9のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 弁部材(136)は、増圧器ピストン(38)と軸方向に整合する、請求項7乃至10のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 高圧供給流路(16)内に配置される逆止弁(18)を備え、その流路(16)を通して蓄圧容積室(10)から噴射器(22)の送出流路(20)へ燃料が供給されるい、請求項1乃至11のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 増圧器手段(34)は、共通ハウジング(50、52、54)内で付属の噴射器と共に配置される、請求項1乃至12のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 共通ハウジングは、2つ以上の分離したハウジング部分(50、52、54)から形成される、請求項13に記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 蓄圧容積室(10)は、使用に際して、約300バールの第1の圧力レベルで燃料が充填される、請求項1乃至14のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 増圧器手段(34)は、2000バールを超える第2の圧力レベルで燃料を供給するように配置される、請求項1乃至15のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射システム。
