Claims (10)
- 記録中において当該媒体の入光面から入射する集束放射ビームを用いた書換可能な記録のための、多重スタック光データ記憶媒体であって、
基板と、該基板の片側に存在する、
相変化型のL0記録膜を備えたL0記録スタックであって、前記入光面に最も近い位置に存在し、前記相変化型の膜がアモルファス相にあるときはTL0aの光透過率を有し、前記相変化型の膜が結晶相にあるときはTL0cの光透過率を有するL0記録スタックと、
前記L0記録スタックよりも前記入光面から遠くに存在する、相変化型のL1記録膜を備えたL1記録スタックと、
前記記録スタックの間にある透明スペーサー層であって、前記集束放射ビームの焦点深さよりも実質的に大きな厚さを有する透明スペーサー層とを備え、
さらに予め記録された情報を含み、該予め記録された情報が、前記L0記録スタックの前記透過率の値TL0aおよびTL0cに依存する、該L0記録スタックの前記L0記録膜のフォーマット処理が必要か否かを示すフラグを含んでいることを特徴とする光データ記憶媒体。 - 前記予め記録された情報が、前記基板内の浮彫状態とされたプリグルーブと、前記基板内の浮彫状態とされたピットと、前記記録膜L0およびL1の少なくとも一方に記録された相変化マークとのうちの、少なくとも1つに変調されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の光データ記憶媒体。
- 0.40<TL0a<0.60かつ0.40<TL0c<0.60であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の光データ記憶媒体。
- 半透明の金属反射膜が、前記L0記録スタック内に15nm未満の厚さで存在していることを特徴とする請求項1から3いずれか1項記載の光データ記憶媒体。
- 前記金属が、元素AgおよびCuの一方を主として含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の光データ記憶媒体。
- 前記L0記録スタックおよび前記L1記録スタックが、それぞれ、実質的に等しい有効光反射率の値RL0およびRL1を有することを特徴とする請求項1から5いずれか1項記載の光データ記憶媒体。
- RL0およびRL1が、0.03と0.18との間の値を有することを特徴とする請求項6記載の光データ記憶媒体。
- 前記記録膜が、Ge、In、SbおよびTeの元素群から選択された少なくとも3つの元素を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の光データ記憶媒体。
- 前記集束放射ビームの前記焦点深さよりも大きな厚さを有する透明スペーサー層により前記L1記録スタックから隔てられて、追加の記録スタックL2が存在することを特徴とする請求項1から8いずれか1項記載の光データ記憶媒体。
- 多重スタックおよびランダム・アクセス形式の書換可能なデータ記録のための、請求項1から9いずれか1項記載の光データ記憶媒体の使用。
