Abstract
Description
従って、本発明によれば、
(a)3−75重量%の1種または複数の織物トリートメント有効成分と、
(b)10−50重量%の水と、
(c)5−40重量%の油と、
(d)場合によっては2−30重量%の非イオン性界面活性剤と、
を含む熱活性化織物トリートメント組成物が提供される。
保存中には実質的にディスペンスデバイス内部に維持され、タンブル乾燥機の加熱サイクル中に織物類に配給され得る織物トリートメント組成物を提供するためには、組成物が熱サイクルの加熱温度またはそれに近い温度で保存状態から分出状態への転移を生じ得る粘度特性を有していることが重要である。即ち、組成物は好ましくは周囲温度で非流動性の高粘度物質(例えば固体、軟質固体またはゲル)であり、タンブル乾燥機の加熱温度で低粘度物質(例えば液体)になることが必要である。
本発明の組成物は水を含む。
本発明の組成物中には1種または複数の油が存在する。
油の存在はまた、織物類に対する香料の移譲を実質的に改善し、乾燥後のトリートメント済み織物類に対する香料の体質化及び持続性を改善することが知見された。
非イオン性界面活性剤は、組成物の溶融温度のコントロールを改善するため、または、少なくとも組成物が流動性になる温度に影響を与えるために存在し得る。
式中のRは、第一、第二及び分枝状のアルキル及び/またはアシルヒドロカルビル基;第一、第二及び分枝状のアルケニルヒドロカルビル基;第一、第二及び分枝状のアルケニル置換フェノール系ヒドロカルビル基;炭素原子数8−約25、好ましくは10−20、例えば14−18の鎖長を有しているヒドロカルビル基からなる群から選択される。ココ及びタロウまたは連鎖組成物が最も好ましい。
本発明の文脈では本文中に記載した範囲内のHLBを有しているn−ヘキサデカノール及びn−オクタデカノールのデカ−、ウンデカ−、ドデカ−、テトラデカ−及びペンタデカエトキシレートが有用な粘度/分散性調節剤である。天然アルコール及び合成アルコールの混在する“タロウ”鎖長範囲のエトキシレートも本発明に有用である。このような材料の特定例は、タロウアルコール−EO(11)、タロウアルコール−EO(18)及びタロウアルコール−EO(25)、ココアルコール−EO(10)、ココアルコール−EO(15)、ココアルコール−EO(20)及びココアルコール−EO(25)である。
本発明の文脈では本文中に記載した範囲内のHLBを有している3−ヘキサデカノール、2−オクタデカノール、4−エイコサノール及び5−エイコサノールのデカ−、ウンデカ−、ドデカ−、テトラデカ−、ペンタデカ−、オクタデカ−及びノナデカ−エトキシレートが有用な粘度/分散性調節剤である。組成物の粘度及び/または分散性調節剤として本発明に有用な代表的なエトキシル化第二アルコールは:C16EO(11);C20EO(11);及びC16EO(14)である。
アルコールアルコキシレートの場合と同様に、本文中に記載した範囲内のHLBを有しているアルキル化フェノール、特に一価アルキルフェノールのヘキサ−からオクタデカ−までのエトキシレートが本発明の組成物の粘度/分散性調節剤として有用である。p−トリ−デシルフェノール、m−ペンタデシルフェノールなどのヘキサ−からオクタデカ−までのエトキシレートが本発明に有用である。本発明の混合物の粘度及び/または分散性調節剤として有用な代表的なエトキシル化アルキルフェノールはp−トリデシルフェノールEO(11)及びp−ペンタデシルフェノールEO(18)である。
第一及び第二のアルケニルアルコール並びに前項に開示したアルキルフェノールに対応するアルケニルフェノールは本文中に記載した範囲内のHLBまでエトキシル化されて本発明の組成物の粘度及び/または分散性の調節剤として使用することができる。
公知の“OXO”法で得られる分枝鎖をもつ第一及び第二アルコールをエトキシル化し、本発明の組成物の粘度及び/または分散性の調節剤として使用できる。
適当なポリオール基材の界面活性剤としては、スクロースモノオレエート、スクロースモノステアレートまたはそれらの混合物のようなスクロースエステル、ココまたはステアリルモノグルコシド及びステアリルトリグルコシド及びアルキルポリグリセロールのようなポリグリセロール及びアルキルポリグルコシドがある。
場合によって組成物が(1種または複数の)有効成分の溶媒を含み、また、溶媒を含むのが有利である。溶媒は組成物の粘度及び流動温度特性を更に最適にする。加えて、溶媒は保存中の組成物から水分が失われることを遅らせる保湿剤として作用する。
洗濯作業のすすぎサイクルまたはタンブル乾燥サイクル中に典型的に配給されるどのような有効成分も本発明の組成物中の使用に適している。
適当な静電防止剤は、グリセロール及び酢酸カリウムのような保湿剤、塩化リチウムのような無機塩、トリエタノールアミンのようなアミンである。イオン化性静電防止剤は非イオン化性静電防止剤よりも有効であると考えられており、従って、静電防止剤が相対湿度40%未満の環境と平衡した溶液を形成するために十分に吸湿性であるのが望ましい。
適当な織物柔軟剤としては、第四アンモニウム織物柔軟剤及びイミダゾリンのようなカチオン性界面活性剤並びに非イオン性織物柔軟剤がある。
第四アンモニウム織物柔軟材料の形成原料となる親脂肪アシル化合物または酸のヨウ素価は0−140、より好ましくは0−80、最も好ましくは0−40、例えば0−35である。
本発明の組成物がまた1種または複数の香料を含むのが好ましい。適当な香料成分としては、1969年に著者によって出版されたSteffen Arctanderの“Perfume and Flavor Chemicals (Aroma Chemicals)”に開示された香料成分が挙げられる。該文献の記載内容は参照によって本発明に含まれるものとする。
本発明の組成物は脂肪酸及び/または脂肪アルコールのような脂肪成分を含み得る。
織物トリートメント有効成分に役立つその他の補助有効成分を組成物の全重量を基準として0.01−20重量%、より好ましくは0.05−10重量%の量で含有させてもよい。この種の好ましい成分としては脂肪エステル及び脂肪N−オキシドがある。
本発明の組成物中にはまた高分子粘度コントロール剤が存在し得る。適当な高分子粘度コントロール剤としては、非イオン性及びカチオン性のポリマー、例えば、疎水的に改質されたセルロースエーテル(例えば、Hercules社のNatrosol Plus)、及び、カチオン的に改質されたデンプン(例えば、いずれもAvebe社のSoftgel BDA及びSoftgel BD)がある。特に好ましい粘度コントロール剤は、メタクリレートとカチオン性アクリルアミドとのコポリマーであり、Flosoft 200(SNF Floerger社)として入手可能である。
組成物はまた、織物コンディショニング組成物中で慣用の1種または複数の任意成分、例えば、pH緩衝剤、香料担体、蛍光剤、着色剤、抑泡剤、再付着防止剤、高分子電解質、酵素、蛍光増白剤、収縮防止剤、しわ防止剤、斑点防止剤、殺菌剤、殺真菌剤、腐食防止剤、ドレープ付与剤、アイロン補助剤及び染料を含み得る。
次に、表2に示した織物類で汚染評価を行った。
上述の方法に従って以下の組成物を調製した。
次に、表2に示した衣服に対する表4のサンプルの汚染評価を行った。評価は上述の実施例に記載の方法に従って行った。
また、サンプル4−8及び市販の標準タンブル乾燥機用シート(Bounce、2001年にUKで購入)を使用した10回の洗濯・乾燥サイクルで香料評価を行った。
第四アンモニウム材料と油と非イオン性界面活性剤と任意の溶媒とをビーカーで計量しホットプレートに載せて溶融するまで加熱する(約70℃)ことによって以下の組成物を調製した。次に溶融混合物を撹拌しながら所定量の熱水(同じく約70℃)をゆっくりと加えた。香料を添加し、“透明な”液体が生じるまで撹拌を継続した。液体をびんに入れてまたは回転ブレンダーに載せて放冷した。

- (a)3−75重量%の1種または複数の織物トリートメント有効成分と、
(b)10−50重量%の水と、
(c)5−40重量%の油と、
(d)場合によっては2−30重量%の非イオン性界面活性剤と、
を含む熱活性化織物トリートメント組成物。 - 織物トリートメント有効成分が第四アンモニウム材料である請求項1に記載の熱活性化織物コンディショニング組成物。
- 油が植物基材の天然油を含む請求項1または2に記載の熱活性化織物コンディショニング組成物。
- 油が揮発性シリコーン油を含む請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の熱活性化織物コンディショニング組成物。
- 非イオン性界面活性剤が12−20個のEO基を有しているエトキシル化アルコールを含む請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の熱活性化織物コンディショニング組成物。
- 織物トリートメント有効成分対非イオン性界面活性剤の重量比が100:1−1:3の範囲内である請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の熱活性化織物コンディショニング組成物。
- 織物トリートメント有効成分対非イオン性界面活性剤の重量比が50:1−1:2の範囲内である請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の熱活性化織物コンディショニング組成物。
- 織物トリートメント有効成分対非イオン性界面活性剤の重量比が5:1−1:1の範囲内である請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の熱活性化織物コンディショニング組成物。
- ディスペンスデバイスに収容された請求項1に記載の熱活性化組成物を含む包装品。
- タンブル乾燥機の扉の内側パネルに請求項9に記載の包装品を配置する段階と、タンブル乾燥機に織物類を挿入する段階と、織物類をコンディショニングするために乾燥中の織物類に織物トリートメント組成物の少なくとも一部分がデバイスからディスペンスされるように乾燥機を作動させる段階とを含むタンブル乾燥機内の織物類のコンディショニング方法。
