Claims (15)
- (a)(i)少なくとも1つの第1の空洞(142)を有する第1の部分(140)と、
(ii)少なくとも1つの第2の空洞(122)を有する第2の部分(120)であって、各第2の空洞が基準面(128)および第1の溝(130)を有する第2の部分(120)と、
(iii)前記第2の部分の前記第1の溝(130)に配置される少なくとも1つの位置合せ要素(300)と、を具備する第1のハウジングアセンブリ(100)および
(b)複数のポートを有する第1のフェルール(420)であって、フェルールハウジング(410)内部に配置される第1のフェルール(420)を具備する少なくとも1つの第1の光コネクタ(400)を具備し、
前記第1の空洞および前記第2の空洞が通路を形成するように前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分が位置決めされ、
前記第1の光コネクタが前記第1の部分(120)に挿入され、前記通路内にあるとき、前記位置合せ要素(300)が前記第1のフェルールハウジング(410)に接触して、該ハウジング(410)を前記基準面(128)に押し付けるマルチファイバ光コネクタシステム。 - 少なくとも1つの突出部(210)と、少なくとも1つの第2のフェルール(220)と、少なくとも1組のピン(222)と、を具備する第2のハウジング(200)であって、前記第2のフェルールのピンが前記第1のフェルールのポートと接合するように、前記第1のハウジングの前記第2の空洞に摺動可能に係合する第2のハウジング(200)と、をさらに具備する請求項1に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記位置合せ要素が、ベリリウム銅合金、ステンレス鋼、リン青銅からなる群から選択される金属である請求項2に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記第1の空洞の第1の面(146)、前記第2の空洞の第2の面(124)または第1の面および第2の面の両方に配置される少なくとも1つの可倒式扉(160、180)をさらに具備する請求項2に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記位置合せ要素(300)が、互いに略平行である2つの主面(310a、310b)と、前記主面の一方へ突出する少なくとも1つのタブ(302)と、湾曲部分(308)と、第1の脚(304)と、第2の脚(306)と、を有する請求項1に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記位置合せ要素(300)の前記湾曲部分(308)が、約19mm(0.75インチ)の曲げ半径を有する請求項5に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記位置合せ要素(300)が金属であり、厚さが約0.08〜0.38mm(0.003〜0.015インチ)である請求項5に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記第1のフェルールアセンブリが前記通路に係合しているとき、前記位置合せ要素(300)が、負荷のない位置から約0.13〜0.38mm(0,005〜0.015インチ)ずれている請求項5に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記位置合せ要素(300)が、それぞれが幅(w)を有する1組のタブ(302、304)を有し、前記タブが前記第1の溝(130)に完全に配置される請求項1に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記第1の光コネクタ(400)は、前記第1の光コネクタが前記第2の部分(122)内に部分的にあるように、前記通路に摺動可能に係合されるとき、位置合せ手段(424)が第2の溝(132)内にあるようにするために、位置合せ手段(424)をさらに具備する請求項1に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記位置合せ要素が、前記第1のハウジングアセンブリ(100)の前記第2の部分(120)の床(138)に自留配置される請求項1に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記位置合せ要素(300)が、前記第1のフェルールハウジング(410)の下、または前記中空突出部(210)の下または両方の組合せで配置される請求項2に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記第1の部分が4つの第1の空洞のアレイを有し、前記第2の部分が4つの第2の空洞のアレイを有する請求項2に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分が、実質的に1つのユニットとして形成される請求項1に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記位置合せ特徴部が、少なくとも1つの脚部分を有する請求項1に記載のコネクタシステム。
