Abstract
【手段】 格納されたガスに対して反対方向に湾曲した破壊可能な膜(2)により封鎖された出口部(1)を備え、膜(2)は、膜(2)に向けられ、電気パルスの印加により作動可能な点火ペレット(4)に点火することによってのみ生成される高温ガス噴射により破壊される。構造の点において簡単で信頼性が高く、同時に乗客に高い安全性を提供し、かつ、損傷や破壊を伴わずにガスバッグを膨張させる冷ガス発生器を提供するために、ガス圧力容器(7)が充填された状態のとき、前記容器に対向する膜(2)の面(6a)は、少なくとも1の出口部(11)を介してガスバッグに連通し、かつ、膜(2)で集束する高温ガス噴射がノズルチャンバ(5)を介して内部に案内される領域(12)に向かって、露出した態様で完全に配向される。

Claims (4)
- ガス圧力容器(7)が、格納されたガスに対して反対方向に湾曲した破壊可能な膜(2)により閉鎖された吐出開口部(1)を備え、膜(2)は、膜(2)に向けられた高温ガス噴射により破壊され、この噴射は、電気パルスの印加により作動可能なプライマ(4)の点火によってのみ生じる、ガス圧力容器(7)から流出するガスを利用してガスバッグを膨張させるための冷ガス発生器であって、ガス圧力容器(7)が充填された状態において、ガス圧力容器からそれた膜(2)の面(6a)が、少なくとも1の吐出開口部(11)を介してガスバッグに連通し、かつ、膜(2)で集束する高温ガス噴射がノズルチャンバ(5)を介して内部に案内される空間(12)内に、完全かつ露出した態様で配向されることを特徴とする冷ガス発生器。
- プライマ(4)は、ハウジング(8)で囲まれた推進剤装入物(10)を備え、前記装入物は、装入物内に案内される点火ピン(9)を介して点火可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の冷ガス発生器。
- 膜は、850N/mm2を超える引張強さを有する材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の冷ガス発生器。
- 膜(2)の最上点とノズルチャンバ(5)の吐出開口部(13)との距離が、吐出開口部(1)の径より小さいか、または、等しいことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の冷ガス発生器。
