Claims (10)
- エンジン(20)であって、
エンジンシリンダ(22)と、
エンジンシリンダ(22)内に往復運動するように配置されたエンジンピストン(24)と、
エンジンシリンダ(22)のポート内に配置されたバルブ要素(40)と、
エンジン(20)に接続され、バルブ要素(40)の近くに配置されたバルブアクチュエータ(70)と、
バルブアクチュエータ(70)と流体連通している第1の加圧流体源(84)と、
バルブアクチュエータ(70)と流体連通している第2の加圧流体源(86)と、
第1および第2の加圧流体源(84、86)からバルブアクチュエータ(70)への加圧流体の流れを制御するように適合された制御バルブ(88)とを具備する、エンジン(20)。 - バルブアクチュエータ(70)は、アクチュエータシリンダ(72)と、アクチュエータシリンダ(72)内に往復運動するように搭載されたアクチュエータピストン(74)とを含む、請求項1に記載のエンジン(20)。
- バルブ要素(40)の回りに搭載され、バルブ要素(40)を閉位置に向かって付勢するコイルバネ(56)を含む、請求項2に記載のエンジン(20)。
- バルブ要素(40)と作動的に関わる機械的被駆動アクチュエータ(58)を含む、請求項1に記載のエンジン(20)。
- 第1の加圧流体源(84)はエンジン潤滑系統である、請求項4に記載のエンジン。
- エンジン(20)を制御する方法であって、
エンジンシリンダ(22)と、エンジンシリンダ(22)から延びるバルブポート(36)と、バルブポート(36)に対して開位置と閉位置の間で移動するように適合されたバルブ要素(40)とを有するエンジン(20)を準備する工程と、
第1の流体源(58)から得られた第1の力でバルブ要素(40)を開く工程と、
第2の流体源(86)から得られた第2の力でバルブ要素(40)を開位置に保持する工程と、
開放工程中にエンジンシリンダ(22)から排気ガスを排出する工程と、
保持工程中にエンジンシリンダ(22)に排気ガスを吸い込む工程とを含む、方法。 - エンジン(20)は、アクチュエータピストン(74)が内部に往復運動するように配置されるアクチュエータシリンダ(72)を有するバルブアクチュエータ(70)を含み、第2の流体源(86)は加圧流体であり、保持工程は加圧流体をアクチュエータシリンダ(72)に送り込むことを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 第1の流体源(58)は機械的被駆動アクチュエータ(58)であり、開放工程は機械的被駆動アクチュエータ(58)によって行われ、保持工程は、加圧流体(86)をアクチュエータシリンダ(72)内に送り込むことによって行われる、請求項7に記載の方法。
