Abstract
Description
套管針封止(トロカール・シール)は本件出願人の米国特許第5,385,553号に開示され、特許請求されているが、その内容をここに援用する。この特許は、器具が軸線を外れて挿入された際に遭遇することになる諸問題を論じている。弁を浮揚させるという解決策が詳細に論じられている。
Claims (17)
- 肉体壁を貫通して体腔に出入りするとともに、体腔に外科手術器具を接近させるようになっている套管針であって、
軸線に沿って配置され、近位端および遠位端を有しているカニューレを備え、前記カニューレは肉体壁を貫通した配置に備えるようになっており、
軸線に沿って前記カニューレの近位端に配置されたハウジングを更に備え、前記ハウジングはそのハウジング壁が概ね軸線に沿って外科手術器具を受け入れるようになっているとともに、外科手術器具を前記カニューレに導入するようになっており、
前記ハウジングの内部に配置された弁を備え、該弁は、ハウジング壁と第1封止を形成し、外科手術器具が套管針の中に存在している際には外科手術器具と第2封止を形成し、外科手術器具が套管針の中に存在していない際には第3封止を形成する特性を有しており、
前記弁に挿入されたゲル物質を備え、該ゲル物質は、外科手術器具が套管針の軸線から左右横方向に移動した場合にでも第2封止を維持する浮揚特性を有する、
ことを特徴とする套管針。 - 前記弁の前記ゲル物質は、軸線の左右方向に測定される最大外郭寸法と、軸線に沿って測定される厚さとを有しており、最大外郭寸法対厚さの比率は1から5の間の範囲に入ることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の套管針。
- 前記厚さは約5ミリメートルから約10ミリメートルの間の範囲に入ることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の套管針。
- 前記ゲル物質に隣接して少なくとも1個の空洞を定める手段を更に備えており、前記空洞はゲル物質が移動により入り込める空隙を設けていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の套管針。
- 前記空洞を定める手段は前記ハウジング壁の一部を含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の套管針。
- 前記空洞を定める手段は前記ゲル物質の一部を含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の套管針。
- 軸線を有しており、肉体壁を貫通して体腔内に外科手術器具を接近させるようにした套管針であって、
軸線に沿って配置され、近位端および遠位端を有しているカニューレを備え、前記カニューレは肉体壁を貫通した配置に備えるようになっており、
軸線に沿ってカニューレの近位端に配置されたハウジングを更に備え、前記ハウジングはそのハウジング壁が概ね軸線に沿って外科手術器具を受け入れるようになっているとともに、外科手術器具をカニューレに導入するようになっており、
前記ハウジングの内部に配置され、外科手術器具が套管針の中に存在している際には外科手術器具と第1封止を形成する隔壁弁と、
前記隔壁弁と前記ハウジングとの間に配置されて前記ハウジングに対して隔壁弁を浮揚させる弁支持体とを更に備え、前記弁支持体は、前記ハウジングに対して外科手術器具が軸線を外れて移動した際にも第1封止を維持するのを容易にするために、1000パーセントを越える伸び率を有しているゲル物質を含むことを特徴とする套管針。 - 前記弁支持体は前記ハウジング壁と第2封止を形成している、請求項7に記載の套管針。
- 前記ハウジングは、
前記套管針の前記軸線に概ね平行に配置された第1壁と、
前記套管針の前記軸線に概ね垂直に配置された第2壁と、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の套管針。 - 前記弁支持体は前記ハウジングの前記第1壁と第2封止を形成することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の套管針。
- 前記弁支持体は前記ハウジングの前記第2壁と第2封止を形成することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の套管針。
- 前記隔壁弁は前記弁支持体にインサート成形されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の套管針。
- 軸線を有しており、肉体壁を貫通して体腔内に外科手術器具用に接近させるようになっている套管針であって、
套管針の形状を有し、かつ、近位端と遠位端の間に延びるカニューレと、
前記カニューレの近位端に配置された弁ハウジングと、
前記弁ハウジングの内部に軸線に沿って配置された弁とを備え、前記弁は外科手術器具が弁ハウジングを通して前記カニューレに挿入された際には外科手術器具と封止を形成するようになっており、
軸線に対して移動する特性を有するゲル物質を含む弁の複数の部分を更に備え、外科手術器具が軸線から外れて移動した際にでも外科手術器具との封止を維持するようにしたことを特徴とする套管針。 - 前記ゲル物質の前記特性は、1000パーセントの伸び率を含むことを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の套管針。
- 前記ゲル物質に近接して空隙を定め、前記軸線に対してゲル物質が移動するのを容易にする手段を更に備えることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の套管針。
- 前記空隙を定める手段は、前記弁ハウジングの複数の部分を含むことを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の套管針。
- 前記空隙を定める手段は、前記ゲル物質の内部の空気ポケットの形態を呈する、ゲル物質の複数の部分を含むことを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の套管針。
