Abstract
【解決手段】背面基板と、背面基板に離れて配置された前面基板と、前面基板と背面基板との間に配置されて、前面基板及び背面基板と共に放電セルを限定する隔壁と、放電セルを横切って延びる維持電極対と、維持電極対と交差するように放電セルを横切って延びるアドレス電極と、アドレス電極を覆う第1誘電体層と、維持電極対を覆っている第2誘電体層と、放電セル内に配置された蛍光体層と、放電セル内にある放電ガスと、を備え、維持電極のそれぞれは、バス電極及び透明電極を備え、バス電極は、放電セルを横切って延び、透明電極は、バス電極から放電セルの中央方向に離れて配置される本体部、及びバス電極と本体部とを連結する連結部を備え、連結部の長さに対する本体部の幅の相対比が1.2ないし2.2であることを特徴とするPDP。

Claims (14)
- 背面基板と、
前記背面基板と離れて配置された前面基板と、
前記前面基板と背面基板との間に配置され、前記前面基板及び背面基板と共に放電セルを限定する隔壁と、
前記放電セルを横切って延びる維持電極対と、
前記維持電極対と交差するように前記放電セルを横切って延びるアドレス電極と、
前記アドレス電極を覆う第1誘電体層と、
前記維持電極対を覆っている第2誘電体層と、
前記放電セル内に配置された蛍光体層と、
前記放電セル内にある放電ガスと、を備え、
前記維持電極のそれぞれはバス電極及び透明電極を備え、
前記バス電極は、前記放電セルを横切って延び、
前記各透明電極は、前記バス電極から前記放電セルの中央方向に離れて配置される本体部及び、前記バス電極と本体部とを連結する連結部を備え、前記連結部の長さに対する前記本体部の幅の相対比が1.2ないし2.2であることを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイパネル。 - 各維持電極は、前記バス電極に電気的に接続される複数の透明電極を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記バス電極に電気的に接続された前記複数の透明電極は、前記バス電極が延びる方向に沿って非連続的に配置されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記バス電極に電気的に接続された前記各透明電極は、前記対応する放電セルごとに配置されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記維持電極の各本体部は、前記対応する放電セルごとに配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記本体部と前記バス電極とを2つの連結部が連結することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記連結部は、前記バス電極に実質的に垂直方向に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記本体部は、前記バス電極に実質的に平行に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記連結部と前記本体部とは一体に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記連結部の長さは、120ないし200μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記本体部の幅は、230ないし390μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記維持電極対は、走査電極及び共通電極を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- リセット区間、アドレス区間、及び維持区間に分けられて駆動され、前記リセット区間での前記走査電極の終了電位が、前記アドレス区間での前記走査電極の走査電位より高いことを特徴とする請求項12に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記リセット区間での前記走査電極の終了電位と前記アドレス区間での前記走査電極の走査電位との差は、1Vないし35Vであることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
