Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明による方法は、第1ゾーン内で第2ゾーンのレベルで接続されるケーブルネットワークによりリンクされる第1装置と少なくとも1つの第2装置との間の通信を、前記第1ゾーンの装置により送出される信号が前記第2ゾーンにおいて検出可能となるよう、前記ケーブル上のデジタルメッセージを表す信号を変調することにより確立する方法であって、第1装置により、第1閾値未満のパワーレベルにより前記ケーブル上にメッセージを送出するステップと、第2装置により、前記第1ゾーンにある装置によって前記第1閾値に等しいパワーレベルで送出されたメッセージが、前記第2ゾーンにある装置によって前記メッセージを受信可能とする最大パワーレベルを確認するよう、前記第2閾値より大きいパワーレベルにより受信されるメッセージを前記第2閾値未満の第3閾値未満であると排他的にみなすステップと、から構成されることを特徴とする。

Claims (7)
- 第1ゾーン内で第2ゾーンのレベルで接続されるケーブルネットワークによりリンクされる第1装置と少なくとも1つの第2装置との間の通信を、前記第1ゾーンの装置により送出される信号が前記第2ゾーンにおいて検出可能となるよう、前記ケーブル上のデジタルメッセージを表す信号を変調することにより確立する方法であって、
第1装置により、第1閾値未満のパワーレベルにより前記ケーブル上にメッセージを送出するステップと、
第2装置により、前記第1ゾーンにある装置によって前記第1閾値に等しいパワーレベルで送出されたメッセージが、前記第2ゾーンにある装置によって前記メッセージを受信可能とする最大パワーレベルを確認するよう、前記第2閾値より大きいパワーレベルにより受信されるメッセージを前記第2閾値未満の第3閾値未満であると排他的にみなすステップと、
から構成されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記第1装置に対して、
前記ケーブル上で配信モードにより、少なくとも1つの登録要求を該要求に示される前記第2閾値と前記第1閾値との間の少なくとも1つの送出パワーレベルにより送出するステップと、
前記登録要求に応答して、前記第1ゾーンの各自が最も低い送出パワーレベルにより送出されたものを前記受信した登録要求から選択し、前記送出パワーレベルにより応答を送出する少なくとも1つの他の装置により送出される少なくとも1つの登録応答を受信するステップと、
から構成されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記第2装置に対して、
少なくとも1つの登録要求を受信するステップと、
前記最も低い送出パワーレベルを示す前記受信した登録要求を選択し、
前記最も低い送出パワーレベルを利用して、該パワーレベルを示す登録応答を送出するステップと、
から構成されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項2または3記載の方法であって、
前記受信した登録応答の送出パワーレベルに従って、前記登録された第2装置に送出されるメッセージの送出パワーを選択するステップを有することを特徴とする方法。 - 第1ゾーン内の第2ゾーンのレベルにおいて接続可能なケーブルネットワークにリンクされるよう構成され、ケーブル上の信号変調によりメッセージの送出手段と、前記ケーブル上の信号変調により創出されたメッセージの受信手段とを有する装置であって、
前記送出手段は、第1閾値未満の送出パワーレベルによりメッセージを送出することが可能であり、
前記受信手段は、第2閾値未満の受信パワーレベルを有するメッセージのみ受信する、
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項5記載の装置であって、さらに、
前記第2閾値と前記第1閾値との間の様々な送出パワーレベルにより前記ケーブル上に登録要求を送出する手段を有することを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項5記載の装置であって、さらに、
異なる送出パワーレベルで送出された前記受信した登録要求から、前記最も低い送出パワーレベルにより送出された登録要求を選択する手段と、
前記選択された要求の送出パワーレベルに対応する送出パワーレベルにより、前記登録要求への応答を送出する手段と、
を有することを特徴とする装置。
