Abstract
【解決手段】熱可塑性樹脂を主成分とする基材層18と、第1のバリア性樹脂を主成分とする燃料透過防止層11とを夫々一層以上含む多層構造の燃料容器において、基材層のうちの少なくとも一層が、第1のバリア性樹脂と同種の第2のバリア性樹脂をラミナー状にして分散させたバリア性基材層17であるものとし、ピンチオフ部において燃料透過防止層11が途切れた状態になっても、バリア性基材層17に含まれるラミナー状のバリア性樹脂によって透過燃料の遮断性能を確保する。

Description
基材層に高密度ポリエチレン(日本ポリエチレン製KBY47C)を、接着層に無水マレイン酸変性ポリエチレン(日本ポリエチレン製 FT61AR3)を、燃料透過防止層にEVOH樹脂(クラレ製 エバールF101B)を使用し、バリア性基材層には、高密度ポリエチレンを主成分とし、ラミナー状のバリア性樹脂として、PVOH樹脂を4.0質量%及びバリア樹脂分散剤他4.0質量%の合計8質量%分散させたもの(Dupont製RB425)を使用した。この際、ラミナー状バリア性樹脂は、最長部の長さを5mm以上とし、最厚部の厚さを10μm以上とした。
実施例1の材料を使用し、最内層側から、基材層の厚さ2.0mm、一方の接着層の厚さ0.1mm、燃料透過防止層の厚さ0.1mm、他方の接着層の厚さ0.1mm、バリア性基材層の厚さ2.7mm、最外層である第2の基材層の厚さ1.0mmとして、肉厚6.0mmで60lの六層構造の燃料容器(図2)をブロー成形により試作した。
実施例1の材料を使用し、最内層側から、バリア性基材層の厚さ2.0mm、一方の接着層の厚さ0.1mm、燃料透過防止層の厚さ0.1mm、他方の接着層の厚さ0.1mm、最外層である基材層の厚さ3.7mmとして、肉厚6.0mmで60lの五層構造の燃料容器(図3)をブロー成形により試作した。
実施例1の材料を使用し、最内層側から、内側のバリア性基材層の厚さ2.0mm、一方の接着層の厚さ0.1mm、燃料透過防止層の厚さ0.1mm、他方の接着層の厚さ0.1mm、外側の燃料透過防止層の厚さ2.7mm、最外層である基材層の厚さ1.0mmとして、肉厚6.0mmで60lの六層構造の燃料容器(図4)をブロー成形により試作した。
実施例2において、バリア性基材層中のラミナー状バリア性樹脂であるPVOH樹脂の含有量を2.0重量%とし、バリア樹脂分散剤他を2.0質量%(合計4質量%)とした以外は実施例2と同じ構成の燃料容器(図2)を作製した。
実施例2において、バリア性基材層中のラミナー状バリア性樹脂であるPVOHを12.0重量%とし、バリア性樹脂分散剤他を12.0重量%(合計24質量%)とした以外は実施例2と同じ構成の燃料容器(図2)を作製した。
実施例2において、バリア性基材層に含まれるラミナー状のバリア性樹脂の最長部の長さを3mmとし、それ以外は実施例2と同じ構成の燃料容器(図2)を作製した。
実施例2において、バリア性基材層に含まれるラミナー状のバリア性樹脂の最厚部の厚さを5μmとし、それ以外は実施例2と同じ構成の燃料容器(図2)を作製した。
実施例1の材料を使用し、最内層側から、基材層の厚さ2.0mm、一方の接着層の厚さ0.1mm、燃料透過防止層の厚さ0.1mm、他方の接着層の厚さ0.1mm、最外層の基材層の厚さ3.7mmとして、本発明のバリア性基材層を含まない五層構造の燃料容器をブロー成形により作製した。
実施例2において、バリア性基材層中のバリア性樹脂であるPVOH樹脂を1.0重量%とし、バリア性樹脂分散剤他を1.0質量%(合計2.0質量%)とした以外は実施例2と同じ構成の燃料容器を作製した。
実施例2において、バリア性基材層中のバリア性樹脂であるPVOH樹脂を15.0質量%とし、バリア性樹脂分散剤他を15.0質量%(合計30.0質量%)とした以外は実施例2と同じ構成の燃料容器を作製した。
実施例2において、バリア性基材層層中のバリア性樹脂をナイロン系とし、その濃度を4.0質量%、分散剤他を4.0質量%(合計8.0質量%)としたもの(Dupont製RB901)に変更した以外は、実施例2と同じ構成の燃料容器を作製した。

Claims (11)
- 熱可塑性樹脂を主成分とする基材層と、第1のバリア性樹脂を主成分とする燃料透過防止層とを夫々一層以上含む多層構造の燃料容器において、基材層のうちの少なくとも一層が、第1のバリア性樹脂と同種の第2のバリア性樹脂をラミナー状にして分散させたバリア性基材層であることを特徴とする燃料容器。
- バリア性基材層が、燃料透過防止層よりも外側に設けてあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料容器。
- バリア性基材層が、燃料透過防止層よりも内側に設けてあることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の燃料容器。
- 最内層が基材層であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
- 最外層が基材層であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
- 基材層の主成分である熱可塑性樹脂が、オレフィン系樹脂であり、第1及び第2のバリア性樹脂が、ビニルアルコール樹脂又はビニルアルコール系共重合体樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
- 基材層の主成分であるオレフィン系樹脂が、ポリエチレンであり、第1及び第2のバリア性樹脂が、エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体樹脂、ポリビニルアルコール樹脂、及び両樹脂の混和物のうちから選択した樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の燃料容器。
- ラミナー状を成す第2のバリア性樹脂の最長部の長さが5mm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
- ラミナー状を成す第2のバリア性樹脂の最厚部の厚さが10μm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
- バリア性基材中の第2のバリア性樹脂の含有量が2〜12質量%であることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
- 多層のパリソンをブロー成形することにより製造されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の燃料容器。
