Abstract
【解決手段】 所定の画像を反射型表示体に表示させる情報表示装置であって、反射型表示体の周囲の照度を照度センサ9に検出させ、その検出された照度の照度域(照度域A、B、C、D)が変わったときに、割り込み制御装置10に割り込み信号を出力させ、その割り込み信号が出力されたときに、前記反射型表示体に表示されている画像の輝度を表示制御装置6に補正させるようにした。

Description
この第6の発明によれば、例えば、ラスタデータを生成し、その生成されたラスタデータを直接に補正する方法に比べ、CPUの負荷を小さくすることができる。
<携帯型情報端末の構成>
図1は、本発明の実施形態における携帯型情報端末1の概略構成を示すブロック図である。この図1に示すように、携帯型情報端末1は、CPU(Central Processing Unit )2、RAM(Random Access Memory)3、記憶装置4、入力装置5、表示制御装置6、VRAM(V ideo RAM)7、表示装置8、照度センサ9及び割り込み制御装置10で構成されている。
<割り込み処理の内容>
図2は、割り込み制御装置10で実行される割り込み処理のフローチャートである。この割り込み処理は、所定時間が経過するたびに実行される処理であって、図2に示すように、そのステップS101では、照度センサ9から照度の情報を読み出す。
<表示制御処理の内容>
図4は、表示制御装置6で実行される表示制御処理のフローチャートである。この表示制御処理は、所定時間が経過するたびに実行される処理であって、図4に示すように、そのステップS201では、CPU2から画像データが出力されているか、つまり表示内容の更新指示が出力されているか否かを判定し、表示内容の更新指示が出力されている場合には(Yes)ステップS202に移行し、表示内容の更新指示が出力されていない場合には(No)ステップS204に移行する。
<携帯型情報端末の動作>
次に、本実施形態の携帯型情報端末1の動作を具体的状況に基づいて説明する。
Claims (6)
- 所定の画像を反射型表示体に表示させる情報表示装置であって、前記反射型表示体の周囲の照度を検出する照度検出手段と、前記照度検出手段で検出された照度に基づいて前記反射型表示体に表示されている画像の輝度を補正する輝度補正手段を備えたことを特徴とする情報表示装置。
- 前記輝度補正手段は、複数用意された輝度補正用テーブルから前記照度検出手段で検出された照度に応じた輝度補正用テーブルを選択し、その選択された輝度補正用テーブルに基づいて前記反射型表示体に表示されている画像の輝度を補正することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の情報表示装置。
- 前記輝度補正手段は、前記照度検出手段で検出された照度が所定照度以上であるときに、前記反射型表示体に表示されている画像の所定輝度以上の部分の輝度を小さく補正させる輝度補正用テーブルを選択することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の情報表示装置。
- 前記輝度補正手段は、前記照度検出手段で検出された照度が所定照度以下であるときに、前記反射型表示体に表示されている画像の所定輝度以下の部分の輝度を小さく補正させる輝度補正用テーブルを選択することを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の情報表示装置。
- 前記反射型表示体に表示させる画像のラスタデータを生成するCPUと、そのCPUで生成されたラスタデータを直接に前記反射型表示体に表示させる表示制御装置とを備え、前記輝度補正手段は、前記ラスタデータ生成手段で生成されたラスタデータに含まれる輝度のデータを補正することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の情報表示装置。
- 前記反射型表示体に表示させる画像のラスタデータを生成するCPUと、そのCPUで生成されたラスタデータを格納するVRAMと、そのVRAMに格納されているラスタデータを前記反射型表示体に表示させる表示制御装置とを備え、前記輝度補正手段は、前記VRAMに格納されているラスタデータに含まれる輝度のデータを補正することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の情報表示装置。
