Description

The present invention relates to a method for planting an extracted plant such as reeds and a planting container used therefor.

Reeds are grasses that grow naturally in shallow waters and surrounding areas such as lakes and rivers, and are not only a habitat for wild birds, insects, and fish, but also have revetment and water purification effects. It has played an important role in the conservation of aquatic ecosystems and the natural environment.
In recent years, reeds such as this work have been reviewed, and reed community conservation projects are being promoted to restore the reed growth environment, which has been drastically reduced by revetment work and development projects.
As part of the reed community conservation project, reeds are artificially planted in the surrounding waters, but water extraction plants such as reed are rooted in underwater soil. Even after planting, it is washed away by the influence of wind waves and hardly settles down. Therefore, in general, seedlings of reed are grown in a polyethylene pot (polypot) for one year, then transplanted to a mat made of coconut shell fibers, further grown in a field for one year, and taken out together with the mat. A method of installing in a plantation site such as a lake is widely used. Since the coconut shell mat will eventually be broken down in the ground, there is no risk of adverse effects on the environment.

However, in the above method, when replanting from pot to mat, it is necessary to take out the reed seedling from the pot, open the cross-shaped cut provided on the palm shell mat, and transplant the seedling into it. In addition, it took a lot of time and it took 2 years for the preliminary seedlings before planting. In addition, the seedlings grown in the polypot are root-rolled (looped) in the pot, and the subsequent growth becomes worse. Furthermore, if the seedlings are not grown until the roots are sufficiently rooted inside the mat, the seedlings will fall off the bottom of the mat when they are removed from the field. There was a problem that it broke and hurt the seedlings when entering and leaving.

The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and the object of the present invention is to improve the efficiency of the planting work of the extraction plants such as reeds and shorten the breeding period. At the same time, it is intended to provide a planting method capable of preventing looping and root cutting and improving the survival rate of seedlings, and a planting container used therefor.

The planting method according to the present invention made to solve the above-mentioned problems comprises a hole that does not penetrate, provided on the upper surface of a planting mat formed by confounding a seedling of a water-drawn plant with biodegradable fibers. It is planted in a seedling holding part, and the planting mat is installed in a planting site.

Further, the planting method of the present invention is a method of planting a seedling of a water-drawn plant in a biodegradable seedling pot, and providing the seedling pot on the upper surface of a planting mat formed by entanglement of biodegradable fibers, so as not to penetrate. The seedling holding part which consists of a hole may be inserted, and the said planting mat may be installed in a planting site.

By using the method for planting the extracted plant of the present invention, it is possible to save the trouble of transplanting seedlings from a pot to a mat as in the conventional case, and to shorten the preliminary seedling raising period until planting. In addition, since the seedlings are not preliminarily raised in the polypot, looping of the roots and rhizomes can be prevented, and unlike the conventional method of planting the seedlings by opening the cuts provided in the palm shell mat, Since it does not directly touch the ground under the mat and roots and rhizomes are difficult to enter the ground under the mat, it is possible to prevent the roots from being cut off during transportation. The survival rate can be improved.

The planting mat used for the method of planting the extracted plant according to the present invention comprises a material in which biodegradable fibers are entangled. As the biodegradable fiber, in addition to natural fibers such as coconut shell fiber and palm fiber, those obtained by forming a biodegradable plastic into a fiber shape can be used. The method for forming the mat is not particularly limited, and any method may be used as long as the fibers can be formed so as to be entangled relatively loosely while maintaining the flexibility of the biodegradable fibers. . As such a molding method, for example, compression molding or a needle punch method can be used. In order to maintain the form, the fibers may be partially fixed with a biodegradable adhesive or an adhesive that is naturally decomposed in the environment. Examples of such an adhesive include polyvinyl alcohol and natural rubber.

On the top surface of the planting mat, one or a plurality of seedling holding portions made of holes that do not penetrate are provided. Such a planting mat may be molded by a mold having a projection corresponding to the seedling holding part, etc., but after forming a flat mat, the mat is cut out to provide a through hole, A mat without holes may be formed by bonding with an adhesive as described above. In this case, a plurality of mats having a predetermined thickness provided with through holes can be laminated to adjust the depth of the seedling holding part.

The seedling pot has a cylindrical shape with a bottom and an opening at the top. The biodegradable fiber is three-dimensionally molded by compression molding using an uneven mold, and the biodegradable fiber is a thin mat. It is also possible to form it by cutting it into an appropriate shape, assembling it into a bowl shape, and fixing it by sewing or stapling. Alternatively, the biodegradable fiber is not entangled, and a biodegradable plastic may be molded into the same shape as a conventional polypot. In this case, a drain hole and a hole or slit through which a root and a rhizome can pass are provided on the bottom and side surfaces.

The planting mat and the seedling pot have biodegradability and, at the same time, are required to have appropriate durability so as not to collapse during the preliminary seedling raising. Therefore, it is desirable to use coconut shell fibers that satisfy these conditions as the material for both containers.

The shape of the pot and the seedling holding part is not limited to a columnar shape, and may be a polygonal columnar shape. Also, in order to make it easy to put in and out of the seedling holding part, the nursery pot has a small tapered shape downward, or when the height of the seedling pot is made larger than the depth of the seedling holding part and fitted into the seedling holding part It is desirable that the edge of the pot protrudes from the surface of the mat.

The seedlings of the extraction plant are planted directly in the seedling holding part of the planting mat or are planted in the seedling holding pot, and the whole seedling pot is inserted into the seedling holding part of the planting mat.
When planting in a place where there is little influence of fluctuations in water level, wind waves, or wreckage, a planting mat that holds seedlings as described above may be installed directly in the planting area. Usually, it is desirable to carry out preliminary seedling raising in a field or the like before planting to sufficiently extend the roots to the inside of the mat.
The seedlings that have undergone preliminary breeding are taken out from the field together with the planting mat and placed in the planting area. At this time, you may fix a planting mat with a biodegradable pile etc. as needed.

Moreover, when the water depth of the planting area is shallow, only a planting mat may be laid in advance in the planting area, and a seedling pot in which seedlings are planted may be inserted into the seedling holding part of the planting mat. . In this case as well, it is desirable that after seedlings are planted in a seedling pot, the seedlings are preliminarily grown in a field or the like and then inserted into a planting mat laid on a planting site. Thereby, while being able to make a planting operation efficient, compared with the case where preliminary seedling is performed using a planting mat, the effort of carrying out from a field and carrying can be reduced.

In addition, the planting method and planting container of this invention are applicable to various extraction plants, such as a tsuruyoshi, a catfish, an asaza, a macomo, and a raven other than a reed.

Examples of the planting method and planting container of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view and a sectional view of a planting mat according to the present embodiment, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view and a sectional view of a seedling pot according to the present embodiment. Moreover, FIG. 3 is sectional drawing which shows the state immediately after planting in the planting method of a present Example.

A planting mat 10 used in the seedling raising method of the present example is formed by compressing and molding palm shell fibers. A mat 11 having a length of 100 cm, a width of 100 cm, and a thickness of 9 cm is provided with four through holes having a diameter of 13.5 cm. The coconut shell mat 12 having a length of 100 cm, a width of 100 cm, and a thickness of 3 cm is attached to the bottom surface of the mat with an adhesive made of polyvinyl alcohol. The seedling pot 20 is formed by compressing palm shell fibers using a concave and convex mold so that the thickness of the peripheral and bottom surfaces is 0.5 cm, the height is 10 cm, the top diameter is 13.5 cm, and the bottom diameter is 12.5 cm. These are formed in a cylindrical shape having a bottom surface and an opening at the top.

Hereinafter, the reed planting method of the present Example using the said planting mat 10 and the seedling pot 20 is demonstrated.
First, the seedling pot 20 is filled with soil, a reed seedling 30 is planted, and the seedling holding part 13 of the planting mat 10 is inserted. The seedlings are preliminarily grown for one year in the field, and then the whole planting mat 10 is unloaded and transported and installed in the planting land 40. From the seedlings 30 after planting, the roots 31 and the underground stems 32 penetrate into the ground of the planting place 40 through the container, and are settled. In addition, the planting mat 10 and the seedling pot 20 of the present embodiment are made of a coconut shell and a biodegradable adhesive, and are gradually decomposed and disappear, so that there is no adverse effect on the environment.

By using the planting method as described above, labor and labor for raising seedlings and planting can be greatly reduced, and the preliminary seedling period, which has been required for two years so far, can be shortened. Shipment and planting can be performed in one year after planting. In addition, since the planting mat and the seedling pot of the present example have a bottom surface, it is possible to prevent roots and underground stems from entering the ground during the preliminary seedling and to prevent root breakage. Furthermore, since the planting mat and the seedling pot of this example are entangled with coconut shell fibers, the roots and underground stems can pass between the fibers, and growth is not hindered. Therefore, many germinations are obtained from one strain, and the survival rate to the planting area is also improved.
