Claims (8)
- 互いに流体的に結合している第１指状マニホルドによる第１リニアアレイと、
互いに流体的に結合している第２指状マニホルドによる第２リニアアレイと、
それぞれ第１指状マニホルド及び第２指状マニホルドのうち何れかと流体的に結合している複数のドロップ発生器と、
を備え、
第１及び第２リニアアレイが、Ｘ軸に沿って交番するよう、且つ指状マニホルドによるコンポジットリニアアレイをＸ軸に沿って形成するよう、互い違いに咬合配置され、
第１及び第２指状マニホルドが、Ｘ軸に対して斜めに延びるよう配置されたドロップ放出装置。 - 請求項１記載のドロップ放出装置において、第１及び第２指状マニホルドが互いにほぼ平行であるドロップ放出装置。
- 請求項１記載のドロップ放出装置において、各ドロップ発生器が、第１及び第２指状マニホルドの後背に配置されたインク圧力チャンバを含むドロップ放出装置。
- 請求項１記載のドロップ放出装置において、第１及び第２指状マニホルドが互いにほぼ平行であり、上記複数のドロップ発生器が、第１及び第２指状マニホルドに対しほぼ平行なアウトレットチャネルによる複数のリニアアレイを含むドロップ放出装置。
- 請求項１記載のドロップ放出装置において、各ドロップ発生器が、流体的に結合する先の指状マニホルドに対して隣接配置されたドロップ放出装置。
- 請求項１記載のドロップ放出装置において、第１指状マニホルドが第１色のインクを、また第２指状マニホルドが第２色のインクを、それぞれ受け取るドロップ放出装置。
- 請求項１記載のドロップ放出装置において、第１指状マニホルド、第２指状マニホルド、並びに上記複数のドロップ発生器が、金属プレートによる薄板乃至薄膜スタック内に実装されたドロップ放出装置。
- 請求項１記載のドロップ放出装置において、更に、複数の第１指状マニホルドと流体的に結合するよう伸張している第１一次マニホルドと、複数の第２指状マニホルドと流体的に結合するよう伸張している第２一次マニホルドと、を備え、当該第１及び第２一次マニホルドが、ほぼＸ軸に沿うよう配置されたドロップ放出装置。
