Abstract

　本発明の燃料電池システムは、燃料電池セル１０を少なくとも１層以上積層した燃料電池積層体１２と、燃料電池積層体１２の積層方向両端に設けられるエンドプレート（１４，１６）と、エンドプレート（１４，１６）内を通り、燃料電池積層体１２の積層方向に貫通形成されたガス供給マニホールド（３４，３８）と連通するガス導入部（１８ａ，２２ａ）と、エンドプレート（１４，１６）内を通り、燃料電池積層体１２の積層方向に貫通形成されたガス排出マニホールド（３６，４０）と連通するガス排出部（２０ａ，２４ａ）と、を有し、エンドプレート（１４，１６）内のガス導入部（１８ａ，２２ａ）は、ガス供給マニホールド（３４，３８）に面する側からガス導入部（１８ａ，２２ａ）を通る反応ガスの上流側に向かって下るように傾斜している。
