Abstract
【解決手段】 陽極20、正孔輸送層40、発光層50、電子輸送層60および陰極70を順次積層してなる有機EL素子において、陰極70は、電子輸送層60側から酸化リチウムなどからなる第1の電子注入層71、ポルフィリン化合物などからなるバッファー層72、酸化リチウムなどからなる第2の電子注入層73およびITO、IZOまたはZnOなどからなる透明な導電膜層74を順次積層してなる透明な膜である。

Description
陰極70として、電子輸送層60側からLi2Oからなる電子注入層を真空蒸着法により0.5nm、CuPcからなるバッファー層を真空蒸着法により10nm、およびIZOからなる導電膜層をスパッタ法により150nm形成する以外は、上記実施例1と同様に有機EL素子を作製した。
陰極70として、電子輸送層60側からCuPcからなるバッファー層を真空蒸着法により10nm、Li2Oからなる電子注入層を真空蒸着法により0.5nm、およびIZOからなる導電膜層をスパッタ法により150nm形成する以外は、上記実施例1と同様に有機EL素子を作製した。

Claims (7)
- 陽極(20)、正孔輸送層(40)、発光層(50)、電子輸送層(60)および陰極(70)を順次積層してなる有機EL素子において、
前記陰極(70)は、前記電子輸送層(60)側から第1の電子注入層(71)、バッファー層(72)、第2の電子注入層(73)および透明な導電膜層(74)を順次積層してなる透明な膜であることを特徴とする有機EL素子。 - 前記透明な導電膜層(74)は、ITO、IZOまたはZnOであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機EL素子。
- 前記バッファー層(72)は、ポルフィリン化合物からなることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の有機EL素子。
- 前記ポルフィリン化合物は、銅フタロシアニンであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機EL素子。
- 前記第1の電子注入層(71)および前記第2の電子注入層(73)の少なくとも一方は、酸化リチウム層であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1つに記載の有機EL素子。
- 前記正孔輸送層(40)、前記発光層(50)および前記電子輸送層(60)のガラス転移温度が、120℃以上であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1つに記載の有機EL素子。
- 前記陽極(20)と前記正孔輸送層(40)との間には、銅フタロシアニンからなる正孔注入層(30)が設けられており、
前記銅フタロシアニンのX線回折法により現れる回折ピークの値において、前記有機EL素子の使用温度内の加熱による前記回折ピークの変化量が、前記加熱前の回折ピークの±25%以内となっていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1つに記載の有機EL素子。
