Abstract
【構成】 スケールが発生した高温の金属表面にスプレーチェンバー内で苛性水溶液をスプレーし、水分を蒸発させ、スケールを酸洗が容易な性質に改質する。この際、蒸気排出部をスプレーチェンバーの天井には設けないで、側壁に設ける。スプレーチェンバーの天井は下面の表面粗度をRa=1以上とし、且つ1/29以上の片側勾配又は両側勾配とする。スプレーチェンバーの入口開口部の上縁、出口開口部の上縁、スプレーノズル以外の金属表面の上方には下面の表面粗度がRa=1以上で勾配が1/29以上の水滴受けを配する事が好ましい。

Claims (6)
- スケールが発生した高温の金属表面にスプレーチェンバー内で苛性水溶液をスプレーし、苛性水溶液の水分を蒸発させ、苛性水溶液中の苛性成分の溶融層を金属表面に形成する事によりスケールを酸洗除去が容易な性質に改質する金属表面のスケール改質装置において、蒸発した水分の蒸気排出部を該スプレーチェンバーの天井の中央部には設けないで該スプレーチェンバーの側壁又はその近傍に設けた事を特徴とする、金属表面のスケール改質装置。
- スプレーチェンバーの天井が勾配が1/29以上(tan 2°以上)の片側勾配でかつ表面粗度がJIS BO601のRa=1以上の天井である、請求項1の金属表面のスケール改質装置。
- 空気取込口が蒸気排出部がある側壁面と反対の側壁面に形成され、空気を空気取込口から蒸気排出部へ流す構造とした事を特徴とする、請求項1または2の金属表面のスケール改質装置。
- スプレーチェンバーの天井がそれぞれの勾配が1/29以上 (tan 2°以上)の両側勾配でかつ表面粗度がJIS B0601のRa=1以上の天井であることを特徴とする、請求項1の金属表面のスケール改質装置。
- スプレーノズル以外の位置の金属表面の上方に、勾配が1/29以上(tan 2°以上)でかつ下面の表面粗度がJIS B0601のRa=1以上の水滴受けが、勾配の下端を金属表面から外れた位置まで延在させて配されている事を特徴とする、請求項1〜4の何れかに記載の金属表面のスケール改質装置。
- スプレーチェンバー入口開口部及び/又は出口開口部の上縁が、勾配が1/29以上(tan 2°以上)でかつ表面粗度がJIS B0601のRa=1 以上の片側勾配又は両側勾配となっていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の金属表面のスケール改質装置。
