Abstract
【解決手段】 電池筐体1A内に極板群3を収容し、電池筐体1Aの一端側に電池筐体1A内が所定以上の内圧になった時に電池筐体1A内を外部に開放する安全弁27などの開放機構を設けた電池において、極板群3の両端間の圧力差により極板群3が一端側に移動し、極板群3の他端と電池筐体1Aを構成する下部蓋体7との接続状態を解消し、電流を遮断するようにした。

Claims (2)
- 電池筐体内に極板群を収容し、電池筐体の一端側に電池筐体内が所定以上の内圧になった時に電池筐体内を外部に開放する開放機構を設けた電池において、極板群の両端間の圧力差により極板群が一端側に移動し、極板群の他端の接続状態を解消し、電流を遮断するようにしたことを特徴とする電池の安全構造。
- 極板群は電池筐体の一端側に空間を設け、かつ電池筐体の内周面に対して絶縁状態で収容し、極板群の一端は電池筐体と絶縁状態で電極端子に接続し、極板群の他端と電池筐体の間に、開放機構作動時の極板群の両端間の圧力差によって極板群に作用する移動力で切断可能な接続部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の電池の安全構造。
