In the ratio shown in Table 1, a vinylpyrrolidone polymer as a water-soluble film forming resin, a water-soluble dextrin (cluster dextrin, manufactured by Nippon Shokuhin Kako Co., Ltd.), glycerin, ethanol, and purified water are mixed and mixed. Vinylpyrrolidone / N, N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylic acid copolymer diethyl sulfate: Mw 1000000, polymerization ratio is vinylpyrrolidone / N, N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylic acid copolymer diethyl sulfate = 7/3 (molar ratio)

セット保持力：長さ１５ｃｍ、重さ１ｇの毛束に各試料０．５ｇを均一に塗布し、直径２ｃｍのロッド（ガラス管）に巻き、４０℃の恒温室内に６時間放置して完全に乾燥させた。乾燥後、ロッドを取り外し、毛束の見かけの長さ（Ｌ）を測定し、次いで、温度２５℃、湿度９０％の恒温恒湿室に毛束を吊るし、２時間後に取り出し、再び毛束の見かけの長さ（Ｌｏ）を測定した。これらの測定値からセット保持力を次式にて求めた。
セット保持力（％）＝〔（１５−Ｌｏ）÷（１５−Ｌ）〕×１００
