Abstract
【解決手段】 複数の極板2と、複数のダミー金属板3とを交互に配置し、極板2とダミー金属板3との間にセパレータ4を配置した極板群1を化成槽6に収容してアルカリ溶液中で化成工程を行ってアルカリ蓄電池を製造するに際し、セパレータ4として両端部に配置される端部セパレータ4aと両端部以外に配置される内部セパレータ4bとを用いて、内部セパレータ4は、極板2とダミー金属板3との間に隙間7を形成する構造とし、端部セパレータ4bは隙間を構成しない構造とする。また、極板2は負極板である場合には、効果が最大限に発揮される。

Claims (2)
- 活物質が充填された複数の極板と、複数のダミー金属板とを交互に配置し、前記複数の極板と前記複数のダミー金属板との間にセパレータを配置した極板群を化成槽に収容してアルカリ溶液中で化成工程を行うアルカリ蓄電池の製造方法において、
両端部以外に配置される前記セパレータは、前記極板と前記ダミー金属板との間に隙間を形成する構造を有するものとすると共に、両端部のダミー金属板と極板との間に位置するセパレータは極板とダミー金属板との間に隙間が形成されない構造であることを特徴とするアルカリ蓄電池の製造方法。 - 前記極板は負極板であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のアルカリ蓄電池の製造方法。
