Abstract
Description
【0001】

ここで上記組成式におけるx、y、z、a、b、およびc(ただしx、y、zはモル比である)は、
0.47≦x≦0.665、
0.03≦y≦0.265、

0.9≦a≦1.05、
0.98≦b≦1.1、
0.9≦c≦1.1

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a high-frequency dielectric ceramic composition used in a high-frequency region such as a microwave and a millimeter wave, and a dielectric resonator, a dielectric filter, a dielectric duplexer, and a communication device configured using the same About.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In high frequency regions such as microwaves and millimeter waves, dielectric ceramics are widely used as materials constituting dielectric resonators and circuit boards.
[0003]
When such a high-frequency dielectric ceramic is particularly intended for applications such as dielectric resonators and dielectric filters, the required dielectric characteristics are as follows: (1) the wavelength of electromagnetic waves in the dielectric is 1 / (ε r ) Since it is shortened to ½ , the dielectric constant ε r is high as a response to the demand for miniaturization, (2) the dielectric loss is small, that is, the Q value is high, and (3) the temperature of the resonance frequency. The stability is excellent, that is, the temperature coefficient τ f of the resonance frequency is around 0 ppm / ° C.
[0004]
Here, the first-order temperature coefficient τ f [ppm / ° C.] of the resonance frequency is a linear approximation of the resonance frequency temperature curve using the resonance frequency f 25 at 25 ° C. and the value of the resonance frequency f 55 at 55 ° C. It represents the slope of the time (first derivative), and is obtained by the equation of τ f = (f 55 −f 25 ) / (f 25 · (55−25)) × 10 6 .
[0005]
Conventionally, as a high frequency dielectric ceramic composition capable of satisfying the above-described requirements, for example, a Re 2 O 3 —Al 2 O 3 —MO—TiO 2 (Re is a rare earth element, M is Ca or Sr) type one is used. It has been proposed (see, for example,

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
With recent advances in communication technology, more excellent dielectric properties are required as described above. Particularly recently, there has been an increasing demand for higher temperature stability. For example, regarding the temperature stability of the resonance frequency, not only the above-described temperature coefficient (first-order temperature coefficient) τ f is close to 0 ppm / ° C., but also the second-order temperature coefficient β is attracting attention as an important parameter. Therefore, the absolute value of the secondary temperature coefficient β is required to be small.
[0008]
More specifically, when designing a device such as an oscillator or a filter using a dielectric resonator, in order to set the temperature coefficient of the resonance frequency as a normal device to 0, for example, an FET (electric field) The temperature coefficient of the resonance frequency of the effect transistor), the substrate, the metal casing, etc. is guaranteed by the temperature coefficient τ f of the resonance frequency of the dielectric ceramic itself. The reason why the temperature coefficient τ f must be arbitrarily adjusted in the vicinity of 0 ppm / ° C. instead of 0 ppm / ° C. is that this compensation must be performed.
[0009]
However, only the adjustment of the primary temperature coefficient tau f, to the temperature coefficient of the entire device 0 is strictly impossible. This is because the first-order temperature coefficient τ f is merely a linear approximation of the temperature characteristics of the dielectric resonator and does not represent an accurate temperature change rate of the resonance frequency. In other words, the temperature characteristics of the general dielectric resonator, since those can not be represented only by a curve, with only a primary temperature coefficient tau f, it is not possible to consider the temperature change rate due to the size of the bending way of the curve.
[0010]
Conventional devices have not caused any substantial trouble without considering the curve of temperature change rate. Recently, however, higher temperature stability has been demanded with respect to the resonance frequency, and not only the primary temperature coefficient τ f has a small value near 0 ppm / ° C. but also the absolute value of the secondary temperature coefficient β. The value is also required to be a small value. For this reason, in order to grasp the temperature characteristic curve of the resonance frequency more accurately, a secondary temperature coefficient β obtained by approximating it with a quadratic curve (a parameter indicating the magnitude of the curve bending) Evaluation using is becoming important.
[0011]
Here, the secondary temperature coefficient β [ppm / ° C. 2 ] of the resonance frequency is obtained by using the resonance frequency f 25 at 25 ° C. and the fluctuation width Δf of the resonance frequency when the temperature changes to T ° C. A temperature curve is expressed as a second derivative when a quadratic curve is approximated by an equation of Δf / f 25 = α (T−25) + β (T−25) 2 .
[0012]
The temperature characteristic curve of the resonance frequency is preferably less bent, that is, more excellent in linearity, so that the secondary temperature coefficient β is ideally 0 ppm / ° C. 2 .
[0013]
However, in the dielectric ceramics having the composition system described in
[0014]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to solve the above-described problems, that is, to have a high relative dielectric constant ε r and a high Q value, and to have a small primary temperature coefficient τ f of the resonance frequency near 0 ppm / ° C. In addition, an object is to provide a high-frequency dielectric ceramic composition that can simultaneously satisfy the requirement that the absolute value of the secondary temperature coefficient β of the resonance frequency is small.
[0015]
Another object of the present invention is to provide a dielectric resonator, a dielectric filter, a dielectric duplexer, and a communication device configured using the above-described high frequency dielectric ceramic composition. It is.
