Claims (1)
- 光伝導性コア部分（４）、前記コア部分（４）を取り囲む内部クラッド部分（３）、および前記内部クラッド部分（３）を取り囲むジャケット部分（１）から構成される単一モード光ファイバーであって、前記コア部分（４）の屈折率が前記クラッド部分およびジャケット部分の領域（３、１）の屈折率より大きく、かつ前記クラッド部分およびジャケット部分の領域（３、１）の屈折率が略等しい単一モード光ファイバーにおいて、前記内部クラッド部分（３）が０．１〜８．５重量％の範囲でフッ素をドープされたＳｉＯ２から形成され、これにより前記コア部分（４）がその全断面にわたって圧縮軸方向応力を受けることになり、さらに前記内部クラッド部分（４）はジャケット部分（１）の屈折率に等しい屈折率を得るために屈折率増加ドーパントを供給されることを特徴とする単一モード光ファイバー。
