Claims (1)
- 光伝導性コア部分(4)、前記コア部分(4)を取り囲む内部クラッド部分(3)、および前記内部クラッド部分(3)を取り囲むジャケット部分(1)から構成される単一モード光ファイバーであって、前記コア部分(4)の屈折率が前記クラッド部分およびジャケット部分の領域(3、1)の屈折率より大きく、かつ前記クラッド部分およびジャケット部分の領域(3、1)の屈折率が略等しい単一モード光ファイバーにおいて、前記内部クラッド部分(3)が0.1〜8.5重量%の範囲でフッ素をドープされたSiO2から形成され、これにより前記コア部分(4)がその全断面にわたって圧縮軸方向応力を受けることになり、さらに前記内部クラッド部分(4)はジャケット部分(1)の屈折率に等しい屈折率を得るために屈折率増加ドーパントを供給されることを特徴とする単一モード光ファイバー。
