Abstract

Description
(1)少なくとも1つの電極を用いて検出された損傷パターンに基づいて卵円窩を識別する段階を更に有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
(2)中隔壁上の他の領域により示された損傷パターンよりも小さな損傷パターンを示す中隔壁上の領域に関して損傷パターンを判定することにより卵円窩を識別する段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(1)記載の方法。
(3)損傷パターンを示さない中隔壁上の領域を発見することにより卵円窩を識別する段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(1)記載の方法。
(4)損傷曲線を用いて損傷パターンを検出する段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(2)記載の方法。
(5)心電図を用いて損傷パターンを検出する段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(4)記載の方法。
(7)電気解剖学的マッピングを利用して卵円窩を識別する段階を更に有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
(8)卵円窩のところで一箇所をタグ付けする段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(7)記載の方法。
(9)位置センサを用いて前記箇所のロケーション座標を決定する段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(8)記載の方法。
(10)前記箇所の位置座標を識別することにより前記箇所のロケーション座標を決定する段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(9)記載の方法。
(12)タグ付け箇所を電気解剖学的マップ上に表示する段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(11)記載の方法。
(13)物理的タグで卵円窩のところの前記箇所をタグ付けする段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(8)記載の方法。
(14)活性タグを用いて卵円窩のところの前記箇所をタグ付けする段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(13)記載の方法。
(15)受動的タグを用いて卵円窩のところの前記箇所をタグ付けする段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(13)記載の方法。
(17)穿通器具をシースのルーメン及び遠位端部中に通すことによりタグ付け箇所のところで卵円窩を穿孔する段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(16)記載の方法。
(18)穿通器具をシースから抜去する段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(17)記載の方法。
(19)補助器具をシース及び穿孔箇所中に通して心臓の左心房内へ入れる段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(18)記載の方法。
(20)補助器具で左心房内における診断手技を行う段階を更に有していることを特徴とする上記実施形態(19)記載の方法。
(22)本体の遠位端部のロケーションを表す信号は、ロケーション座標を決定するために用いられることを特徴とする請求項2記載の装置。
(23)ロケーション座標は、位置座標を含むことを特徴とする上記実施形態(22)記載の装置。
(24)ロケーション座標は、向き座標を更に含むことを特徴とする上記実施形態(23)記載の装置。
(25)少なくとも1つの電極は、先端部電極から成ることを特徴とする上記実施形態(24)記載の装置。
(27)少なくとも1つの電極は、複数の電極セグメントから成ることを特徴とする上記実施形態(24)記載の装置。
(28)複数の電極セグメントは、2つの電極セグメントから成ることを特徴とする上記実施形態(27)記載の装置。
(29)複数の電極セグメントは、4つの電極セグメントから成ることを特徴とする上記実施形態(27)記載の装置。
(30)少なくとも1つの電極は、第1の電極及び第2の電極から成ることを特徴とする上記実施形態(24)記載の装置。

Claims (2)
- 心臓の中隔壁の卵円窩のところで手技を行う方法であって、本体を有するシースを用意する段階を有し、本体は、本体を貫通して延びるルーメン及び本体の遠位端部のところに位置する開口端部を有し、本体は、本体の遠位端部のところに位置する少なくとも1つの電極及び位置センサを更に有し、位置センサは、本体の遠位端部のロケーションを表す信号を発生し、前記方法は、位置センサを用いてシースを中隔壁までナビゲートする段階と、シースの少なくとも1つの電極を用いて中隔壁の卵円窩を識別する段階とを更に有していることを特徴とする方法。
- 組織に対して手技を行う装置であって、貫通して延びるルーメン及び遠位端部のところに位置する開口端部を備えた本体を有し、本体は、
(i)遠位端部のところに設けられていて、組織上の損傷パターンを突き止める少なくとも1つの電極と、
(ii)遠位端部のところに設けられていて、本体の遠位端部のロケーションを表す信号を発生する位置センサとを更に有していることを特徴とする装置。
