Description
【0001】

Further, since the adhesion between the second electrode film and the first electrode film can be strengthened, peeling of the second electrode film can be prevented.
[0012]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
According to the first aspect of the present invention, a first electrode film made of a metal oxide having a dissociative adsorption function of oxygen is provided on both surfaces of an oxygen ion conductive substrate, and a main component is formed of metal particles on the surface of the first electrode film. By providing a second electrode film made of a fired film of a glass-based binder, a voltage drop in the surface direction of the first electrode film can be suppressed, so that an electrode reaction with oxygen on the entire surface of the first electrode film can be suppressed. Oxygen pump element can be increased, oxygen ion conductivity as an oxygen pump can be improved, and a voltage drop in the first electrode film can be suppressed, so that temperature distribution due to self-heating of the electrode can be reduced. Damage such as cracks can be suppressed, and excellent durability can be realized. Further, the adhesion between the first electrode film and the second electrode film can be strengthened by the glass-based binder contained in the second electrode film, so that peeling of the second electrode film can be prevented, and oxygen can be prevented. The durability of the pump element can be further improved.
[0013]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the second electrode film is configured not to cover the entire surface of the first electrode film, the area of the first electrode film in which oxygen molecules are dissociated and adsorbed can be enlarged. The ionic conductivity of the device can be improved.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, the structure of the second electrode film is a stitch structure, a spiral structure, or a meandering structure or an annular structure, and the second electrode film covers the entire surface of the first electrode film. With such a configuration, a voltage can be uniformly applied to the entire electrode surface of the first electrode film, so that the performance of the oxygen pump can be further improved.
[0014]
According to the seventh aspect of the present invention, since the oxygen ion conductive substrate can be made of a lanthanum gallate-based metal oxide to improve the oxygen ion conductivity, the oxygen pump element can be operated at a low temperature. .
[0015]
According to the invention described in
[0016]
According to the ninth and tenth aspects of the present invention, in the former invention, at least one of lanthanum and samarium is used at the A site and at least one of cobalt, iron and manganese is used at the B site. In the latter invention, a part of the A site of the composite oxide is replaced with strontium. As described above, by using a composite oxide having a perovskite structure as the first electrode film, the electrode reaction of oxygen can be further increased, so that the oxygen ion conductivity of the oxygen pump element can be further improved.
[0017]
According to an eleventh aspect of the present invention, by forming the metal particles of the second electrode film with at least one of platinum, gold, silver, palladium, and rhodium, an electrode film having high heat resistance and low electric resistance can be obtained. Therefore, excellent oxygen pump performance and durability can be realized.
[0018]
According to a twelfth aspect of the present invention, a first electrode film made of a metal oxide having a dissociative adsorption function of oxygen is provided on both surfaces of an oxygen ion conductive substrate, and a main component is formed of metal particles on the surface of the first electrode film. An oxygen pump element provided with a second electrode film made of a fired film of a glass-based binder, partitioning means for partitioning electrodes (first electrode film and second electrode film) on both surfaces of an oxygen ion conductive substrate, and an oxygen pump By comprising at least one heating means for heating the element and an oxygen pump element, a partitioning means and a heat insulating material having a ventilation function arranged so as to surround the heating means, the oxygen pump element and the heating means are directly exposed to the atmosphere. 【The invention's effect】
As is clear from the above description, the oxygen pump element of the present invention and the oxygen pump device equipped with the element have the following effects.
[0054]
Since the electrode reaction of oxygen can be caused on the entire electrode surface of the first electrode film of the oxygen pump element, the oxygen ion conductivity of the oxygen pump element can be improved, and the performance as an oxygen pump can be improved.
