Abstract
【解決手段】 始動機/発電機システム100は、自動車車両エンジン205を始動させ、自動車バッテリ210を充電するように構成されている。また、始動機/発電機システム100は、始動機/発電機110と、この始動機/発電機110に電気的に結合された3相MOSゲート制御インバータ/ブリッジ115と、この3相MOSゲート制御インバータ/ブリッジ115に電気的に結合された新規の制御ASIC130と、この制御ASIC130に電気的に結合されたモータドライブ回路120とから構成されている。

図1は、本発明の始動機/発電機システムの一実施形態を説明するためのブロック図で、図中符号100は始動機/発電機システム、110は始動機/発電機、115は3相MOSゲート制御インバータ/ブリッジ、120はモータドライブ回路、130は制御ASIC、205はエンジン、210は自動車バッテリを示している。

Claims (13)
- 始動機/発電機と、
ブリッジ接続されたMOSゲートデバイスを有し、前記始動機/発電機に電気的に結合された3相MOSゲート制御インバータ/ブリッジと、
前記始動機/発電機を制御するのに必要なすべての制御回路を有し、前記3相MOSゲート制御インバータ/ブリッジの前記ブリッジ接続されたMOSゲートデバイスに電気的に結合された制御ASICと、
該制御ASICに電気的に結合されたモータドライブ回路と
を備えたことを特徴とする始動機/発電機システム。 - 前記モータドライブ回路が、それぞれのフィードバック信号に電気的に結合されたフィードバック入力を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の始動機/発電機システム。
- 前記フィードバック信号が、前記3相MOSゲート制御インバータ/ブリッジによって発生した第1のフィードバック信号及び前記始動機/発電機によって発生した第2のフィードバック信号を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の始動機/発電機システム。
- 前記制御ASICが、複数の異なる電圧ネットワークで動作することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の始動機/発電機システム。
- 前記複数の異なる電圧ネットワークが、12ボルト電圧ネットワーク及び42ボルト電圧ネットワークを有することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の始動機/発電機システム。
- 前記制御ASICが、広い動作温度範囲で動作することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の始動機/発電機システム。
- 前記温度範囲が、−40℃〜165℃であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の始動機/発電機システム。
- 前記制御ASICが、複数のモードで動作することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の始動機/発電機システム。
- 前記複数のモードが始動機モードを有し、前記ブリッジ接続されたMOSゲートデバイスのゲートソース間電圧が、起動シーケンスの持続期間中保持されるように、前記制御ASICが、前記始動機モードで3相MOSゲート制御インバータ/ブリッジの前記MOSゲートデバイスを駆動することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の始動機/発電機システム。
- 前記制御ASICが、少なくとも1つの制御入力を有し、前記制御ASICの前記始動機モードが、前記少なくとも1つの制御入力のアサートによって開始されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の始動機/発電機システム。
- 前記複数のモードが発電機モードを有し、前記始動機/発電機からの交流電圧を整流するために前記制御ASICが、前記発電機モードで3相MOSゲート制御インバータ/ブリッジの前記MOSゲートデバイスを駆動することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の始動機/発電機システム。
- 前記制御ASICが、少なくとも1つの制御入力を有し、前記制御ASICの前記発電機モードが、前記少なくとも1つの制御入力のアサートによって開始されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の始動機/発電機システム。
- 自動車のエンジン及びバッテリ用の始動機/発電機システムで使用する制御ASICであって、
前記始動機/発電機システムの3相MOSゲート制御インバータ/ブリッジのブリッジ接続されたMOSゲートデバイスに電気的に結合されるように構成されたASICを備え、
前記始動機/発電機システムの始動機/発電機を制御するのに必要なすべての制御回路を備えたことを特徴とする制御ASIC。
