Abstract
【解決手段】 LO信号は、互いに180°位相がずれている、第1中間LO信号および第2中間LO信号を供給する180°スプリッタに供給される。第1および第2中間LO信号は共に180°位相がずれているため、基本LO漏れは、180°位相がずれたLOトーンを同相結合して互いに相殺して、強力なLO/RF排除を行うことによって、RFポートで低減される。RFまたはマイクロ波入力信号は、第1中間RF信号および第2中間RF信号を供給するパワースプリッタに供給される。第1中間LO信号は第1中間RF信号とミキシングされ、第2中間LO信号は第2中間RF信号とミキシングされて、ミクサの出力で中間周波数信号を供給する。

Claims (9)
- 異なる周波数を有する信号をミキシングする広帯域ミクサであって、
無線周波数(RF)入力信号を受信し、前記RF入力信号と同相で、前記RF入力信号の電力レベルの約半分の電力レベルを有する第1中間RF信号および第2中間RF信号を生成するパワースプリッタと、
局部発振器(LO)入力信号を受信し、第1中間LO信号および第2中間LO信号を生成する位相スプリッタであって、前記第2中間信号は、前記第1中間LO信号および前記LO入力信号と180°位相がずれている、位相スプリッタと、
前記第1中間RF信号を前記第1中間LO信号とミキシングし、前記第2中間RF信号を前記第2中間LO信号とミキシングし、前記ミキシングされた中間信号を合成して、中間周波数(IF)信号を供給するミキシング段と、
を備えたミクサ。 - 請求項1に記載のミクサにおいて、ミクサは、前記LO信号の偶数高調波周波数が前記RF信号の基本周波数とミキシングされる分数調波ミクサである、ミクサ。
- 請求項1に記載のミクサにおいて、前記ミキシング段は、前記第1中間RF信号を前記第1中間LO信号とミキシングする第1逆並列ダイオード対、および前記第2中間RF信号を前記第2中間LO信号とミキシングする第2逆並列ダイオード対である、ミクサ。
- 請求項3に記載のミクサにおいて、前記ミキシング段は、前記第1中間RF信号を前記第1中間LO信号とミキシングする第1逆並列ダイオード対、および前記第2中間RF信号を前記第2中間LO信号とミキシングする第2逆並列ダイオード対であり、前記第1および第2逆並列ダイオード対は共通ノードに結合され、前記IF信号は前記共通ノードに供給される、ミクサ。
- 請求項1に記載のミクサにおいて、前記パワースプリッタは、3dBパワーコンバイナ/スプリッタとして構成されるスパイラルバラン構造およびウィルキンソン3dBパワーコンバイナ/スプリッタのうちの1つである、ミクサ。
- 請求項1に記載のミクサにおいて、約20GHz〜約30GHz、約37GHz〜約44GHz、約50GHz〜約70GHz、および約70GHz〜約80GHzのうちの1つの周波数範囲の帯域幅を有する、ミクサ。
- 請求項1に記載のミクサにおいて、前記位相スプリッタは180°ハイブリッドとして構成された、スパイラルバラン構造のうちの1つである、ミクサ。
- 請求項1に記載のミクサを備えた集積回路。
- 請求項1に記載のミクサを備えた無線システム。
