本各発明は、変動入賞口等の入賞装置の開放動作等を始動させるためのパチンコ機の始動装置に関するものであり、特に、モータなどによって回転駆動される回転体が取り付けられるとともに、この回転体の外側面に、遊技球を収容可能な球受け凹部が設けられた始動装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、変動入賞口等の入賞装置の開放動作等を始動させるために、モータなどによって回転駆動される回転体が取り付けられるとともに、この回転体の外側面に、遊技球を収容可能な球受け凹部が設けられた始動装置が種々知られており、例えば図5に示すような第3種パチンコ機に設けられる始動装置60が知られている。以下、図5を参考にして従来の始動装置60について説明する。

この始動装置60には、内蔵されたモータ(図示省略)により一定速度で回転駆動される回転体62が取り付けられている。また、回転体62の外側面には1個の遊技球を収容可能な大きさの球受け凹部64が設けられている。回転体外側面の外側には、この回転体を囲むように囲繞壁66が設けられているが、この囲繞壁66の上部側には、球受け凹部64に向けて遊技球が通過可能となるように、遊技球の外径よりも幅広の球入口68が開口されている。

この種の第3種パチンコ機では、例えば、始動ゲート7への遊技球の通過を契機として図柄表示装置8の図柄が変動され、この図柄表示装置8において特定の図柄が揃った場合に「当たり」とされる。ついで、変動入賞装置15が開放されて遊技球が入賞すると「大当たり」等の「特定利益状態」となる。この「特定利益状態」で遊技球が始動装置60に入賞されると、所定数の入賞球が払い出されるとともに、開放アタッカー12を備えた変動入賞口11が開放される。この開放アタッカー12の開放動作は、一定時間の経過又は変動入賞口11への一定個数(例えば10個など)の遊技球の入賞に至るまで継続され、その後開放アタッカー12は閉じられる。そして、再び始動装置60に遊技球が入賞されると、上記したような開放アタッカー12の開放動作が所定回数まで(例えば15回まで)繰り返される。

また、このような始動装置60の多くは、遊技盤1の正面視右側に配設されており、特定利益状態となった際には、通常の遊技球の弾発の仕方とは変えて、ハンドルの弾発力を強めて始動装置60の配設された盤面右側を狙ういわゆる「右打ち」を行うように設けられていることが多い。また、回転体62は上記したようにパチンコ機の電源投入直後から所定速度で回転されており、回転体62が一回転する所定時間内には、球受け凹部には一つの遊技球だけが収容され、したがって、一つの遊技球だけが入賞されることとなるように設けられている。

また、上記したような始動装置60では、球入口68の大きさが大きめに設けられたり、遊技球が球入口68へ容易に導かれるように始動装置60周辺の釘調節がなされており、特定利益状態における始動装置60への遊技球の入賞が容易となるように設けられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、上記したように始動装置60に遊技球が入賞されると所定数の入賞球が払い出されるように設けられている。このため、この始動装置60への入賞による入賞球の払出を狙い、特定利益状態でない場合(以下「非特定利益状態」とする。)であっても右打ちを行い、特に、遊技球が球受け凹部64に収容された後、回転体62がさらに一回転して、次の遊技球が収容可能となった球受け凹部64が球入口68付近に近づくまでは遊技球の弾発を停止する、いわゆる「止め打ち」を行うことにより、持ち玉を徐々に増やすような遊技が行われることがあった。このため、当初購入した遊技球だけで徐々に持ち玉を増やして遊技を続けることのできる、このような遊技方法を禁止するために、遊技ホールによっては、非特定利益状態での「右打ち」を禁止する張り紙などを掲示していたが、その実効性は得られていなかった。

本発明は、上記した従来の始動装置の問題点を解消するものであり、非特定利益状態では始動装置の球入口を閉止する遮蔽部材を設けることにより、非特定利益状態での始動装置への入賞、及び入賞による入賞球の払出を完全に防止し、不適正な遊技方法を防止することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
以上の課題を解決するために、本各発明の採った手段を以下に説明する。本発明の請求項1に記載のパチンコ機の始動装置は、変動入賞口等の入賞装置の開放動作等を始動させるためのパチンコ機の始動装置であって、外側面に、遊技球を収容可能な球受け凹部が設けられるとともにモータ等により回転駆動される回転体と、特定利益状態と非特定利益状態とを判別する判別手段からの信号により、遊技球が、前記球受け凹部に、前記特定利益状態においては収容可能に、前記非特定利益状態においては収容不能に変位される遮蔽部材と、を備えたことを特徴とする。

このように始動装置を構成することにより、非特定利益状態には遮蔽部材により球受け凹部に遊技球が収容されないようにして始動装置への入賞、又は始動装置への遊技球の収容に連なって行われる入賞による入賞球の払い出しを防止することができ、一方、特定利益状態には始動装置への入賞又は始動装置への遊技球の収容に連なって行われる入賞による入賞球の払い出し、及び変動入賞口等の入賞装置の開放動作等の始動を行えるようにすることができる。

上記したように、本発明でいう「始動装置」とは、それ自体に入賞口は備えず、遊技球を一時的に回転体の球受け凹部収容して、下方などに配設された入賞口に排出するものや、逆に、それ自体に入賞口を備えるものなど種々の始動装置を含む。また、「遮蔽部材」は、遊技球が球受け凹部に収容可能又は収容不能のそれぞれの状態を実現できるものであれば、形状、その変位方法、取付部位等は特に限定されない。例えば、形状は「板状」のものや「棒状」のものを例示することができる。また、材質も特に限定されず、樹脂製や金属製等のものを例示することができる。また、遮蔽部材の変位方法は、例えば、遮蔽部材にソレノイドを取り付けて、このソレノイドを励磁・励磁断する方法が考えられる。また、遮蔽部材は、始動装置本体に取り付けても、回転体に取り付けてもいずれでも良い。また、「特定利益状態」とはいわゆる「大当たり」などの通常の遊技状態とは異なる遊技態様を言い、「非特定利益状態」とは、この特定利益状態以外の遊技状態を言う。また「判別手段」は、具体的には、所定の入賞口内等に設けられた遊技球検出センサからの検出信号や、特定利益状態となった以降の変動入賞口等への入賞球個数や開放アタッカーなどの開閉回数等により判別する電子制御回路等を言う。

上記したような遮蔽部材を変位するためにソレノイドを用いたものであり、遮蔽部材の変位手段として極めて簡便・安価に採用できる。また、遊技盤面の前後方向に変位するように設けることにより、ソレノイドと遮蔽部材の取付構造を簡便化させることができる。また、遮蔽部材を前後方向に移動させることとすることにより、遮蔽部材の後退時には遮蔽部材を遊技盤面後方側に収容できる。よって、遮蔽部材の後方への変位時に、遊技盤面表側には遮蔽部材を待避させるための空間を必要としない。したがって、遊技盤面表側において少ないスペースで始動装置の各部品を配置することができ始動装置の小型化を図ることができ、特に、正面視投影面積を小さくすることができる。また、遊技者側に露呈される遊技盤面表側にこのような遮蔽部材待避用の空間、或いは遮蔽部材収納用の部材などを必要としないので、始動装置の美観を損なうおそれも少ない。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、請求項1及び請求項2の各発明を適用したパチンコ機の始動装置の実施の形態を図1から図4を参考にして詳細に説明する。図1に示すように、この始動装置20が取り付けられたパチンコ機は、いわゆる「権利もの」と呼ばれる第3種パチンコ機である。以下、このパチンコ機の遊技盤1の構成について説明する。

遊技盤1の誘導レール2に囲まれた遊技領域3には、本発明に係る始動装置20を含む各種のパチンコ機用部品が配設されている。遊技領域3には、風車5a〜5e、入賞口6a〜6fが配設されている。また、遊技領域の中央やや上方寄りの入賞口6a下方には、図柄表示装置8が配設されている。図柄表示装置8は、2つの図柄表示器10a、10bが備えられており、図柄表示装置8の下方に配設された通過ゲート7に遊技球(図示省略)が通過することにより図柄の変動表示が開始されるように制御されている。通過ゲート7は、単に遊技球が通過するように構成されているものであり、遊技球の通過に際して入賞球等の払出は行われないが、この通過ゲート7を、図柄表示装置8の変動表示を開始するとともに同時に入賞球の払出を行う入賞口等に代えても良い。また、通過ゲート7の下方には、後述する「当たり」判定時に開放駆動される電動入賞装置15が設けられている。また、遊技領域3の正面視右側やや上方寄りには、始動装置20が設けられ、始動装置20の下方には始動入賞口14が、さらに始動入賞口14の下方遊技領域やや中央寄りには変動入賞口11が配設されている。そして、遊技領域3の最下部にはアウト口4が開口されている。なお、遊技領域3内には、多数の遊技釘が打設されているが、図示は省略している。

図柄表示装置8には、セグメントLEDから構成される2つの図柄表示器10a、10bと、ゲート通過記憶表示器9が備えられている。遊技領域3を落下してきた遊技球が通過ゲート7を通過すると、通過ゲート7内に設けられた遊技球検出センサからの検出信号により各図柄表示器10a、10bは変動表示を開始し、一定時間経過後にまず左側の図柄表示器10aが変動表示を停止して特定の図柄(例えば、数字0〜9、英字Fの11種類などのいずれか)を表示し、次いで左側の図柄表示器10aに僅かに遅れて右側の図柄表示器10bが変動表示を停止して同様に特定の図柄を表示する。また、ゲート通過記憶表示器9は、通過ゲート7を通過した遊技球の数を上限4個まで表示する。よって、ゲート通過記憶表示器のLEDが総て(本例では4個)表示された状態で、新たに遊技球が通過ゲート7を通過しても、その遊技球の通過はカウントされず無効とされる。

「当たり」と判定されると図柄表示器10a及び10bは、例えば「7、7」等の同じ図柄に揃えられる。そしてこの「当たり」表示後、通過ゲート7下の電動入賞装置15が一定時間(例えば5秒)開放駆動され、この電動入賞装置15に遊技球が入賞すると、電動入賞装置15内の遊技球検出センサからの検出信号により「大当たり」等の「特定利益状態」と判定される。なお、本パチンコ機においては、通常の「当たり」確率である「低確率」及び通常の当たり確率よりも高確率の当たり状態である「高確率」のいずれかが抽選され、「高確率」と判定された時には、以後の抽選まで当たり確率が高い状態でゲームを行えるようにして遊技者の興趣を高めるように設けられている。また、図柄表示器10a、10bは赤・緑等の2色セグメントLEDで構成され、通常の当たり確率で変動表示が行われる場合は赤色で、高確率の当たり確率で変動表示を行う場合は緑色となるように表示制御され、遊技者が確率状態を容易に判別できるように設けられている。

そしてこの特定利益状態において、遊技球が始動装置20を経て始動入賞口14に入賞されると、始動入賞口14内の遊技球検出センサからの検出信号により、始動入賞口14下方に配設された変動入賞口11が開放作動される。なお、始動装置20は遊技盤1正面視右側に配設されており、遊技者は、特定利益状態となった場合にはいわゆる「右打ち」をして始動装置20への遊技球の入賞を狙うこととなる。

図2及び図4に示すように、この始動装置20には、内蔵されたモータ(図示省略)に軸着されて一定速度で回転駆動(図2のB矢印方向)される回転体22が取り付けられており、この回転体22の外側面には、1個の遊技球のみを収容可能な大きさの球受け凹部24が設けられている。また、回転体22の外側面の外側には、この回転体22を囲むように囲繞壁26が設けられている。この囲繞壁26の上部側には、遊技球が通過可能な幅の球入口28が開口されており、下部側には、回転体22が回転して球受け凹部24が始動装置20の下方に位置したときに、球受け凹部24に収容された遊技球を始動装置20下方に向けて落下させるための球出口30が開口されている。そして、球入口28を通じて球受け凹部24に収容された遊技球は、回転体22が回転駆動されることにより球出口30まで運ばれ、球出口30から始動入賞口14に向けて落下される。

ここで、始動装置20についてより詳細に説明する。回転体22は囲繞壁26内に収容されており、このため図3に示すように、始動装置20正面視において、球入口28の部位は囲繞壁26よりも下方に向けて若干窪んだ断面形状となっている。よって、球受け凹部24が球入口28の部位に位置する場合には、遊技球は球受け凹部24に収容されるのであるが、球受け凹部24が球入口28の部位に位置しない場合であっても、球入口28の部位の回転体22外側面上に遊技球が保留可能に設けられている。したがって、球受け凹部24が球入口28の部位に回転移動される時を見計らって始動装置20を狙って遊技球を発射する必要は必ずしもなく、始動装置20を適時に狙って遊技球を発射し始動装置20に遊技球が保留されることにより、回転体22の回転移動により始動入賞口14への入賞は、容易に連続して行うことができる。

また、始動装置20には球入口28を開放・閉止することのできる板状の遮蔽部材32が設けられている。遮蔽部材32の正面視縦断面形状は、中央部から左右に向けて下方に傾斜する三角状に形成されており、遊技球が当たった際に左右に落下しやすく始動装置20上部において球詰まりが生じ難いように設けられている。また遮蔽部材32先端には、遊技球の形状にあわせた平面視半円状の凹部33が形成されており、遮蔽部材32が後方に退避され球入口28が開放された際に遮蔽部材32の一部が球入口28内に突出している場合でも、この凹部33により遊技球を円滑に通過させることができる。特に、始動装置20の本体34内の収納空間が充分でなく遮蔽部材32の後方へのストローク量を充分に確保できない場合であっても、遊技球を円滑に通過させることができ有効である。

また図2及び図4に示すように、遮蔽部材32は、本体34内部に取り付けられたソレノイド(図示省略)に、可動軸36を介して連結されており、このソレノイドの駆動により、始動装置20の本体34に穿設された挿通孔40から正面側に向けて球入口28を閉止可能に、本体34前後(図2のA矢印方向)に突出・退避するように設けられている。そして、この遮蔽部材32は、非特定利益状態においては正面側に突出された状態とされており、球受け凹部24に遊技球が収容されることはない。また、始動入賞口14には、通常は、直接、遊技球が入賞できないように始動入賞口14周辺の遊技釘が調整されたり、上方の始動装置20との間隔が狭められて配設されている。したがって、非特定利益状態では、始動入賞口14への遊技球の入賞による入賞球の払出は行われない。

一方、特定利益状態となった場合には、ソレノイド36の励磁により遮蔽部材32が本体34背面方向に退避され、遊技球が球受け凹部24に収容可能となる。ソレノイド36は、上記した変動入賞装置15内の遊技球検出センサ(図示省略)からの検出信号により(すなわち「特定利益状態」となっている場合に)励磁され、これに取り付けられた遮蔽部材32を始動装置20背面側に退避させる。このようにして、球入口28が開放され、遊技球が球受け凹部24に収容可能とされる。そして、ソレノイド36の励磁は、後述するように、変動入賞口15の開放アタッカー12が所定回数開放動作を行った後(すなわち、特定利益状態が終了された時)に終了され、再度遮蔽部材32が球入口28を閉止することとなり、特定利益状態となれば同様にこれらの動作が繰り返される。なお、本例の遮蔽部材32の退避時には、遮蔽部材32は本体34内に収容されるので、遮蔽部材32の退避時のスペースを始動装置20正面側の遊技者の目に付く部位に確保する必要がなく、よって、始動装置20の美観を損ねるなどの問題は生じない。

本各発明は上記のように構成されているので、非特定利益状態における始動装置への入賞に伴う入賞球の払出を防止することができ、このような不適正な遊技方法を防止することができる、という効果を奏する。また請求項2に記載のパチンコ機の始動装置では、これに加えて、遮蔽部材の取付構造を簡便化させることができ極めて簡便・安価にこの始動装置を実現でき、また、始動装置の小型化を図ることができ、さらには始動装置の美観を損なうおそれも減少させることができる。
