可燃性液体の滴をデジタル方式で個別に放出するための液滴放出器(30)を有する燃料送出システム(14)。コントローラ(76)は、液滴射出器(30)に対し、燃料吸気期間のうちの第1の部分の間に第1の空気/燃料混合物を燃焼室(17)へ供給させ、同燃料吸気期間のうちの第2の部分の間に第2の空気/燃料混合物を前記燃焼室(17)へ供給させるように構成される。

Claims (10)
- 可燃性液体をデジタル方式で不連続に放出することが可能なノズルを有する液滴放出器(30)と、
前記液滴放出器(30)に対し、燃料吸気期間のうちの第1の部分の間に第1の空気/燃料混合物を燃焼室(17)へ供給させ、前記燃料吸気期間のうちの第2の部分の間に第2の空気/燃料混合物を前記燃焼室(17)へ供給させるように構成されたコントローラ(76)と、
からなる燃料送出システム(14)。 - 前記第1の空気/燃料混合物が希薄な化学量論比であり、前記第2の空気/燃料混合物が濃厚な化学量論比である、請求項1の燃料送出システム。
- 前記コントローラ(76)は、前記液滴放出器に対し、前記燃料吸気期間のうちの第3の部分の間に第3の空気/燃料混合物を前記燃焼室(17)に供給させるように構成される、請求項1の燃料送出システム。
- 前記燃焼室(17)が単一の吸気口(101)を有し、該吸気口を通して前記第1及び第2の空気/燃料混合物が前記燃焼室(17)に供給される、請求項1の燃料送出システム。
- 前記燃焼室(17)が複数の吸気口(101)を有し、該吸気口を通して前記第1及び第2の空気/燃料混合物が前記燃焼室に供給される、請求項1の燃料送出システム。
- 前記コントローラ(76)は、所定の期間に前記液滴放出器(30)から放出される燃料の個別液滴の数を変化させることにより、前記燃焼室(17)に供給される前記空気/燃料混合物を調節するように構成される、請求項1の燃料送出システム。
- 燃焼室(17)に空気/燃料混合物を送る方法であって、
吸気期間のうちの第1の部分の間に、第1の空気/燃料比を有する可燃性気体(100)を送るステップと、
前記吸気期間のうちの第2の部分の間に、第2の空気/燃料比を有する可燃性気体(100)を送るステップとからなり、
前記可燃性気体(100)が可燃性液体の個別の液滴中に空気を通すことによって作成される、方法。 - 前記吸気期間のうちの第3の部分の間に第3の空気/燃料比を有する可燃性気体(100)を送るステップをさらに含む、請求項7の方法。
- 前記第1の空気/燃料混合物が希薄な化学量論比であり、
前記第2の空気/燃料混合物が濃厚な化学量論比である、請求項7の方法。 - 前記希薄な空気/燃料混合物が第1の数の燃料液滴中に前記空気を通すことによって作成され、
