Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a toothbrush in which a bristle bundle formed by bundling a plurality of bristles is respectively implanted in a plurality of flocking holes formed in a flocking table.
[0002]
Problems to be solved by the prior art and the invention
A toothbrush is formed by implanting and fixing a hair bundle formed by bundling a plurality of bristles by a method of driving a flat wire into a plurality of flocking holes formed in a flocking table or fusing with heat. It is. In addition, the toothbrush arranges the bristle bundles and the bristle so that plaque and the like can be effectively removed by efficiently performing appropriate brushing according to the tooth part such as the interdental part, the tooth surface part, the cervical part and the like. Various modifications have been made to the shape of the hair tips.
[0003]
On the other hand, as a toothbrush that can efficiently brush the interdental portion, for example, a toothbrush that has a different bristle implantation height so that the bristle tip of a long bristle can easily enter the interdental portion can be considered. If the bristle is thickened to strengthen the bristle of the long bristle, or if the arrangement of the long bristle is not appropriate in relation to other short bristles, The removal effect cannot be sufficiently exhibited.
[0004]
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION By adjusting the arrangement | positioning of the bristle with which a bristle height differs and the hole diameter of a bristle hole, this invention enables the efficient brushing of the interdental part by the bristle which was transplanted, and fully removes the plaque removal effect. An object of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush that can be exerted.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is a toothbrush in which a bristle bundle formed by bundling a plurality of bristles is planted in a plurality of flocked holes formed in a flocking table, respectively, wherein the plurality of bristles planted in the flocking table The main bristle, which is a bristle whose tip comes into contact with the flat surface when a brush is brushed while a load of 300 g is vertically applied from the rear side of the flocking table by contacting the tip of the flocking table with the flat surface, The flocked surface of the table is divided into a central band-shaped region having a width of 3 mm parallel to the axial direction of the toothbrush and a pair of outer regions on both sides of the central band-like region. Bristle, when the main bristle located on the outer region is the outer main bristle, the average flocking height of the central main bristle is greater than the average flocking height of the outer main bristle in each of the outer regions. A toothbrush wherein the total opening area of the axial small-diameter flocking holes whose axial diameter of the toothbrush is 1.4 mm or less occupies 50% or more of the total opening area of all the flocking holes. Thereby, the above object has been achieved.
[0006]
In addition, in the toothbrush of the present invention, it is preferable that the average flocking height of the central main bristle is 0.1 to 4.0 mm higher than the average flocking height of the outer main bristle in each of the outer regions.
[0007]
Here, in the present application, the “main bristles” are formed by setting the tips of a plurality of bristles 51 planted on the flocking table 50 to the flat surface 52 as shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B by modeling. When the brush flocking table 50 is brushed from the rear side of the flocking table 50 while vertically applying a load P of 300 g from the rear side thereof, it means the bristle 51 a whose tip contacts the flat surface 52, and the load P of 300 g is Except for the bristle 51b in which the tip of the longest bristle 51a does not abut on the flat surface 52 even when the flocking table 50 moves vertically by the displacement s due to the vertical load, and the bristle 51 has a bristle height difference d larger than the displacement s. The purpose is to think.
[0008]
In the present application, the central main bristle is a main bristle that is implanted in a central band-shaped region having a width of 3 mm parallel to the axial direction of the toothbrush and whose tip is located above the central band-shaped region. When the plant is straddled over the dividing line between the band-shaped region and the outer region, the main bristle arranged on the side of the central band-shaped region divided by the dividing line is set as the central main bristle and arranged on the outer region side. The main bristle thus set is the outer main bristle.
[0009]
The reason why the width of the central band-shaped region is set to 3 mm is the difference in average flocking height between the central main bristle in the central band-shaped region and the outer main bristle in each outer region, based on a model test for plaque removal rate described later. As a result of examining the parameter for the plaque removal rate while changing the width of the central band-shaped area under the condition of unifying the inner and outer steps of the convex shape, the change of the plaque removal rate by setting the width of the central band-shaped area to 3 mm. Is particularly prominent.
[0010]
Further, in the present application, the axial-direction small-diameter flocking hole is a flocking hole having a maximum length (hole diameter) of 1.4 mm or less along the axial direction of the toothbrush, and the hole diameter of these flocking holes corresponds to a plurality of bristles. This is synonymous with the bundle diameter at the root of the bundle of hair bundles. Further, the opening area of the flocking hole means the opening area of the portion where the main bristle is planted in each flocking hole, and therefore, the hole diameter of these flocking holes is such that only the bristle other than the main bristle is planted. It means the pore diameter of the part excluding the part.
[0011]
And according to the toothbrush of this invention, since the average bristle height of a center main bristle is larger than the average bristle height of the outer main bristle in each outer area | region, the central main bristle whose bristle length is longer than the outer main bristle. The bristle tips easily and smoothly penetrate into the interdental portions during brushing, and the interdental portions can be efficiently cleaned. In addition, since the total opening area of the axial small-diameter flocking holes whose axial diameter of the toothbrush is 1.4 mm or less occupies 50% or more of the total opening area of all the flocking holes, The bristle implanted in the axial small-diameter flocked hole, which is easily and smoothly penetrated into the interdental area, is less hindered by the bristle implanted in the axial large-diameter flocked hole that is difficult to enter the interdental area. Thus, it is possible to efficiently clean the interdental portion. Therefore, it is possible to sufficiently exert the plaque removing effect by these synergistic actions.
[0012]
Further, according to the toothbrush of the present invention, by setting the range of the convex inner and outer steps to 0.1 to 4.0 mm, it is possible to efficiently secure a sufficient step to improve the plaque removing effect. become. If the inner and outer steps are larger than 4.0 mm, the outer bristles become too short, so that it is difficult to prevent the inner bristles from protruding outside, and the plaque removing effect may be reduced.
[0013]
According to the present invention, as means for strengthening the stiffness that prevents the bristle having a long bristle implanted in each axial-direction small-diameter flocking hole from excessively bending, for example, the bristle of each main bristle is used. By adjusting the thickness or the material of the bristle of each main bristle, a method of hardening each main bristle itself or the like can be adopted.
[0014]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The toothbrush 10 according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 1 has a plurality of flocked portions 11 formed on a toothbrush body 11 of a toothbrush main body including a grip portion (not shown), a flocked portion 11 and a neck portion 12 connecting these. One bristle bundle 15a is schematically shown in 12 places, a second bristle bundle 15b schematically shown by a black circle is shown in two places, and a third bristle bundle 15c schematically shown by drawing a cross in a circle is shown in eight places by a double circle. Fourth hair bundles 15d are planted at 18 locations. Each of the 40 flocked holes 13 has a circular shape with an opening surface of 1.2 mm in diameter, so that the hole diameter in the axial direction X of the toothbrush 10 is 1.4 mm or less (1.2 mm). A direction small-diameter flocking hole is formed.
[0016]
The bristles 14a, 14b, 14c, and 14d constituting each of the hair bundles 15a, 15b, 15c, and 15d are filament materials having a thickness of, for example, 6 to 9 mils made of a synthetic resin such as nylon. The hair bundles 15a, 15b, 15c, and 15d are formed by bundling dozens to dozens of hairs.
[0017]
According to the first embodiment, the flocking surface of the flocking table 11 is divided into a central band-like region 16 having a width of 3 mm and a pair of outer regions 17 on both sides of the central band-like region 16 by a pair of partition lines 18 parallel to the axial direction X of the toothbrush 10. At the time of division, twelve first bristle bundles 15a and two second bristle bundles 15b are implanted in the central band-shaped region 16, and four third bristle bundles 15c are formed in each outer region 17, respectively. Nine fourth hair bundles 15d are implanted. According to the first embodiment, the first hair bundle 15a, the third hair bundle 15c, and the fourth hair bundle 15d arranged adjacent to the dividing line 18 between the central band-shaped region 16 and the outer region 17 are provided. A portion of the bristles 14a, 14c, 14d located at the peripheral edge of the bristles protrudes toward the central band-shaped region 16 or the outer region 17 and is planted.
[0018]
According to the first embodiment, the first bristle bundle 15a is configured by bundling 16 first bristles 14a each having a thickness of 9 mil (0.229 mm), and each first bristle 14a has a flocking surface. Hair is planted with a hair length of 11.5 mm. The second bristle bundle 15b is configured by bundling 20 second bristles 14b each having a thickness of 8 mil (0.203 mm), and each second bristle 14b is implanted with a hair length of 11.5 mm from the implantation surface. ing. Further, the third bristle bundle 15c is configured by bundling 26 third bristles 14c each having a thickness of 7 mil (0.178 mm), and each third bristle 14c has a bristle height of 10.5 mm from the flocking surface. Have been. Furthermore, the fourth bristle bundle 15d is configured by bundling 34 fourth bristles 14d having a thickness of 6 mil (0.152 mm), and each fourth bristle 14d has a bristle length of 10.5 mm from the flocked surface. Hair transplanted.
[0019]
According to the toothbrush 10 of the first embodiment, all of the bristles 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d constituting each of the bristle bundles 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d are formed of a plurality of bristles planted on the flocking table 11. The main bristle, which is a bristle whose tip comes into contact with the flat surface when the tip is brought into contact with the flat surface and the brush is brushed while applying a load of 300 g vertically from the rear side of the flocking table 11, is formed. .
[0020]
The average bristle implantation height of the central main bristle by the first bristle 14 a, the second bristle 14 b, etc., which is implanted in the central belt-like region 16 and whose tip is located above the central belt-like region 16, is implanted in each outer region 17. Then, the tip is higher by, for example, 1.0 mm than the average flocking height of the outer main bristle by the third bristle 14c, the fourth bristle 14d, and the like located above the outer region 17.
[0021]
Furthermore, according to the toothbrush 10 of the first embodiment, since all of the flocking holes 13 formed in the flocking table 11 are axial-direction small-diameter flocking holes, the total opening area of the axial-direction small-diameter flocking holes is: It occupies 100% (50% or more) of the total opening area of all flocked holes.
[0022]
According to the toothbrush 10 of the first embodiment, the arrangement of the bristles 14 a, 14 b, 14 c, and 14 d having different bristle heights and the diameter of the bristle holes 13 are adjusted, so that the bristle bristles 14 a, 14 b, which are planted. Efficient cleaning of the interdental portion by the portions 14c and 14d is enabled, and the effect of removing plaque can be sufficiently exhibited.
[0023]
That is, according to the first embodiment, the convex inner / outer step, which is the difference in average flocking height between the central main bristle in the central band-shaped region 16 and the outer main bristle in each outer region 17, is 1.0 mm, for example. As a result, the tip of the central main bristle having a longer hair length than the outer main bristle easily and smoothly enters the interdental portion during brushing, and the interdental portion can be efficiently cleaned. The total opening area of the axial small-diameter flocking holes 13 in which the hole diameter in the axial direction X of the toothbrush 10 is 1.4 mm or less occupies 50% or more (100%) of the total opening area of all the flocking holes 13. The bristle implanted in the axial small-diameter flocked hole, which is easily and smoothly penetrated into the interdental area, is prevented from penetrating into the interdental area. As a result, the interdental portion can be efficiently cleaned. Therefore, it is possible to sufficiently exert the plaque removing effect by these synergistic actions.
[0024]
FIGS. 2A and 2B show a toothbrush 20 according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention. The toothbrush 20 according to the second embodiment includes a grip portion (not shown) and a flocking table. A bristle bundle formed by bundling a plurality of bristles 24a, 24b, 24c, 24d in a plurality of flocked holes 23a, 23b, 23c, 23d formed in a flocked base 21 of the toothbrush main body, which is composed of 21 and a neck 22 connecting these. The tufts 25a, 25b, 25c, and 25d are each planted (planted).
[0025]
Further, according to the toothbrush 20 of the second embodiment, the toothbrush body is a known one made of a synthetic resin such as, for example, polypropylene or ABS resin, like the toothbrush 10 of the first embodiment. The first flocking of a track circle shape having a minor axis parallel to the axial direction X of the toothbrush 20 of 0.8 mm and a major axis perpendicular to the minor axis of the flat flocking surface of 0.8 mm over substantially the entire area thereof. 23a holes are provided at five places, a major axis parallel to the axial direction X of the toothbrush 20 is 2.2 mm, and a minor axis perpendicular to this is 0.8 mm. Are 1.5 mm, the short axis is 0.8 mm, and the track-shaped third flocking holes 23 c having the short axis of 0.8 mm are provided at five positions. Similarly, the long axis is 1.5 mm, and the short axis is the fourth track-implanting hole 23 d of 0.8 mm. Are formed in seven places.
[0026]
2A, a first bristle bundle 25a schematically illustrated by a shaded line in FIG. 2A is provided in the five first flocked holes 23a, and an axial direction X of the toothbrush 20 is provided in 16 second flocked holes 23b. The second bristle bundle 25b, which is schematically illustrated by drawing a rounded circle, has three fifth flocking holes 23c, and the third bristle bundle 25c, which is schematically illustrated in black, has seven fourth flocking holes 23d. , A fourth hair bundle 25d, which is schematically shown in white, is planted.
[0027]
Further, according to the second embodiment, the flocking surface of the flocking table 21 is defined by a pair of partition lines 28 parallel to the axial direction X of the toothbrush 20 by a central band-like region 26 having a width of 3 mm and a pair of outer regions 27 on both sides thereof. In the central band-like region 26, five first hair bundles 25a, five third hair bundles 25c, and one fourth hair bundle 25d are planted in the central band-shaped region 26, and each outer region 27 In each case, eight second hair bundles 25b and three fourth hair bundles 25d are implanted. According to the second embodiment, the third hair bundle 25c and the fourth hair bundle 25d arranged adjacent to the dividing line 28 between the central band-shaped region 26 and the outer region 27 are partially The bristles 24c and 24d protrude toward the central band-shaped region 26 or the outer region 27 and are planted.
[0028]
Furthermore, according to the second embodiment, the first bristle bundle 25a is configured by bundling 38 first bristles 24a each having a thickness of 9 mil (0.229 mm), and each first bristle 24a has a flocking surface. Hair is planted with a hair length of 11.5 mm. The second bristle bundle 25b is configured by bundling 48 second bristles 24b each having a thickness of 7 mil (0.178 mm), and each second bristle 24b has a bristle of 9.0 to 11.5 mm from the flocking surface. Hair is planted in length. Further, the third bristle bundle 25c is configured by bundling 15 third bristles 24c having a thickness of 9 mil (0.229 mm), and each third bristle 24c is 11.0 to 12.0 mm from the flocking surface. Hair is implanted at a hair length (11.5 mm, 12.0 mm, 11.5 mm, 11.0 mm, in order from the third bristle 24c constituting the third hair bundle 25c on the tip end side of the flocking table 21). Furthermore, the fourth bristle bundle 25d is configured by bundling 19 fourth bristles 24d having a thickness of 8 mil (0.203 mm), and each fourth bristle 24d is 10.5-11.5 mm from the flocking surface. (The hair length is 11.5 mm, 11.0 mm, and 10.5 mm in order from the fourth bristle 24d constituting the fourth hair bundle 25d on the tip side of the flocking table 21).
[0029]
Therefore, according to the second embodiment, the brush surface at the upper end of the entire hair bundle group in which the five third hair bundles 25c and the seven fourth hair bundles 25d are combined from the tip end side of the flocking table 21 The two third bristle bundles 25c (having a hair length of 12.0 mm) in the second row have the highest height and form a mountain shape when viewed from the side of the toothbrush 20 (see FIG. 2B).
[0030]
Furthermore, according to the second embodiment, the second hair bundle 25b has the highest hair length (11. From the eight second bristles 24b (5 mm) to the second bristles 24b with the lowest bristle length (9.0 mm), the bristle length of the second bristle 24b is sequentially reduced so that the tip shape becomes a concave curved shape. When the brush is brushed while vertically applying a load of 300 g from the rear side of the flocking table 21, only the 24 second bristles 24b having the longer hair length are used. Are in contact with the flat surface, and only the 24 second bristles 24b constitute the main bristles.
[0031]
As described above, the bristle bundles 25a, 25b, 25c, and 25d are planted in the flocking table 21, and according to the toothbrush 20 of the second embodiment, the 24 second bristles 24b having the shorter bristle length are provided. Except that the bristles 24a, 24b, 24c, and 24d constituting each of the hair bundles 25a, 25b, 25c, and 25d have the tips of a plurality of bristles planted on the flocking table 11 in contact with a flat surface. The main bristle, which is a bristle whose tip comes into contact with a flat surface when brushing while applying a load of 300 g vertically from the rear side of the flocking table 11, is constituted.
[0032]
Further, according to the toothbrush 20 of the second embodiment, since the length of the short shaft corresponding to the hole diameter of the toothbrush 20 in the axial direction X is 0.8 mm, all of the first flocked holes 23a are toothbrushes. Has a small diameter in the axial direction X of 1.4 mm or less. The length of the long axis corresponding to the diameter in the axial direction X of the second flocking hole 23b is 2.2 mm, but the 24 second bristles 24b having the longer bristle, which is the main bristle, are planted. Since the provided area is a half area in the long axis direction, an area of 1.1 mm on one side of the opening surface of all the second flocked holes 23b substantially constitutes the axially small diameter flocked hole. . Further, since the length of the short axis corresponding to the hole diameter in the axial direction X of the toothbrush 20 is 0.8 mm, all of the third flocking holes 23c constitute axially small diameter flocking holes. Further, the fourth flocking hole 23d has only the five fourth flocking holes 23d having a short axis length of 0.8 mm corresponding to the hole diameter of the toothbrush 20 in the axial direction X and constitutes a small axial flocking hole. The other four fourth flocking holes 23d where the long axis of 1.5 mm is arranged in the axial direction X do not constitute the axial-direction small-diameter flocking hole.
[0033]
Thus, according to the second embodiment, the sum of the opening areas of the small-diameter flocking holes in the axial direction is 94% of the total opening area of all the flocking holes (58% is 0.8% in the axial direction with a hole diameter of 0.8 mm). 36%) when the hole diameter in the axial direction X is substantially 1.1 mm.
[0034]
Also, according to the toothbrush 20 of the second embodiment, the convex inner-outer step, which is the difference in average flocking height between the central main bristle in the central band-shaped region 26 and the outer main bristle in each outer region 27, is 0.65 mm. Since the total opening area of the small-diameter flocking holes in the axial direction accounts for 50% or more (94%) of the total opening area of all the flocking holes, the toothbrush 10 is the same as the toothbrush 10 of the first embodiment. The effect will be obtained.
[0035]
The present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various changes can be made. For example, the shape and arrangement of the flocking holes in the flocking table, the thickness and the number of bristles constituting each hair bundle are not limited to those in the above embodiments.
[0036]

[Model test of plaque removal rate]
As shown in FIG. 3, an interdental model 30 was formed from an aluminum block in which the curved surfaces of R4 faced each other, and a video tape magnetic layer 31 was attached to the surface of the interdental model 30 as a plaque model. As a video tape, "S'RIBBON" standard type (120 minutes, model number 3T-120SR) of Seiyu private brand was used. The created interdental part model 30 was cleaned by the toothbrushes of Examples 1 and 2 and the toothbrushes of Comparative Examples 1 to 3 using a brushing machine. The brushing conditions were a load of 300 g, a speed of 120 rpm, an amplitude of 30 mm, and a number of times of 120, and Apaguard M Plus (trade name, manufactured by Sanghi Co., Ltd.) as a polishing accelerator was used as the toothpaste. The area of 2πR × 5 mm in width was used as the evaluation area 32 of the interdental part, and after the brushing, the video tape magnetic layer 31 was developed, photographed with a digital camera, and analyzed. By image analysis, the ratio of the area of the portion where the magnetic layer peeled and became white in the evaluation region 32 was calculated, and the ratio was determined as the plaque removal rate (%) in the interdental portion. The results of the evaluation are shown in each frame of FIG.
[0040]
