Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a toothbrush in which a plurality of bristle bundles formed by bundling a plurality of bristles are implanted on a flocking table.
[0002]
[Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention]
A toothbrush is formed by implanting and fixing a bunch of bristles by bundling a plurality of bristles by a method of driving a flat wire into a plurality of flock holes formed on a flocking table or fusing them with heat. It is. In addition, the toothbrush is designed to arrange the bristle bundles and bristle so that it can effectively remove the plaque and the like by efficiently performing appropriate brushing according to the parts of the teeth such as the interdental portion, tooth surface portion, and neck portion. Various ideas have been made on the shape of the hair ends.
[0003]
On the other hand, as a toothbrush that can efficiently clean the interdental portion, for example, a bristle bristle tip is made different so that the bristle tip of the bristle having a long hair length easily enters the interdental portion. Even if the bristle flocking height is varied in the axial direction of the toothbrush, if the bristle hair length is the same in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the toothbrush, the bristle tip in the central region is positioned between the teeth. The bristles in the outer part area are blocked by the bristle in the outer part area, and the bristles of the outer part area escape into the interdental area, and the bristles escape to the outside and efficiently put plaque in the interdental area. Could not be removed.
[0004]
In addition, in a toothbrush that only has a convex step in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the toothbrush, a bristle with a long bristle length in the central part region is somewhat easier to enter between the teeth, but if the step is small, The outer region is highly rigid and supported by a short bristle bristle so that it cannot reach deep in the interdental area. If the level difference is large, the long bristle in the central region will escape to the outside or the stiffness will be weak. Therefore, in any case, the effect of removing plaque in the interproximal part has not necessarily been sufficiently exhibited.
[0005]
The present invention enables efficient brushing of the interproximal region by the flocked bristles by adjusting the arrangement of the bristle with different flocking heights and the tilt angle of the bristle, and also the plaque in the interdental region. It aims at providing the toothbrush which can fully exhibit the removal effect.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is a toothbrush in which a plurality of bristles formed by bundling a plurality of bristles are planted on a flocking table, and the tips of the plurality of bristles planted on the flocking table are brought into contact with a flat surface. For the main bristle, which is a bristle whose tip contacts the flat surface when a load of 300 g is applied vertically from the rear side of the flocking table to make contact, the flocked surface of the flocking table is the axis of the toothbrush. The main bristle having the tip of the bristle positioned on the central band-shaped region is divided into a central band-shaped region having a width of 3 mm parallel to the direction and a pair of outer regions on both sides of the central band-shaped region. When the main bristle to be used is the outer main bristle, the average flocking height of the central main bristle is higher than the average flocking height of the outer main bristle in each outer region. Further, a part or all of all the main bristle is tilted in the axial direction of the toothbrush, and the average tilt angle with respect to the vertical direction of all the main bristle is 2.5 to 10 degrees. The angle is smaller than the average of the tilt angles of the main bristle in the central strip region . Here, the average of the tilt angles means the average of the absolute values of the tilt angles with respect to the vertical direction.
[0007]
And as for the toothbrush of this invention, it is preferable that the average flocking height of the said center main bristle is 0.1-4.0 mm higher than the average flocking height of the outer main bristle in each said outer area | region.
[0008]
Here, in the present application, the “main bristle” is a model shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B, and the tips of a plurality of bristle 51 planted on the flocking table 50 are formed on a flat surface 52. This means a bristle 51a whose tip is in contact with the flat surface 52 when a load P of 300 g is applied from the rear side of the flocking table 50 while making a vertical contact, and the load P of 300 g is applied. Even if the hair flock 50 is moved vertically by the displacement s, its tip does not come into contact with the flat surface 52, except for the bristle 51b in which the hair height step d between the longest bristle and 51a is larger than the displacement s. The idea is to think.
[0009]
Further, in the present application, the central main bristle is a main bristle that is implanted in a central strip region having a width of 3 mm parallel to the axial direction of the toothbrush and whose tip is located above the central strip region, and the hair bundle is in the center. When planted across the lane line between the belt-like region and the outer region, the main bristle divided on the lane line and placed on the central belt-like region side is the central main bristle and placed on the outer region side The formed main bristle is used as the outer main bristle.
[0010]
The width of the central belt-like region is set to 3 mm because of a difference in average flocking height between the central main bristle in the central belt-like region and the outer main bristle in each outer region by a model test of the plaque removal rate described later. As a result of examining the parameters for the plaque removal rate while changing the width of the central band region under the condition that the convex inner and outer steps are unified, the change in the plaque removal rate by setting the width of the central band region to 3 mm. This is due to the fact that is particularly prominent.
[0011]
According to the toothbrush of the present invention, since the average flocking height of the central main bristle is higher than the average flocking height of the outer main bristle in each outer region, the central main bristles having a longer hair length than the outer main bristle. The bristle tips will easily and smoothly enter the interdental area during brushing. Further, since the average tilt angle of all the main bristle regardless of the tilt direction is 2.5 to 10 degrees , the buckling strength of the toothbrush with respect to the vertical load is lower than when the bristle is not tilted, and the toothbrush The whole is pressed deeper and the tip of the hair can reach a deep part of the interdental part. Therefore, these synergistic actions can sufficiently exert the effect of removing plaque at the interdental portion.
[0012]
In addition, the average tilt angle with respect to the vertical direction of all the main bristle regardless of the tilt direction is set to 2.5 to 10 degrees by changing the average tilt angle by a model test of the plaque removal rate described later. As a result of evaluating the plaque removal rate, when the average tilt angle is in the range of 2.5 to 10 degrees , the plaque removal rate is significantly higher than a toothbrush with an average tilt angle of 0 degrees. It is. When the average tilt angle exceeds 10 degrees , the buckling strength of the toothbrush is too weak and the hair is crushed, and the hair tips pass through without entering the interproximal part. The removal rate will decrease.
[0013]
As a method of reducing the buckling strength of the toothbrush, in addition to the method of tilting the bristle, a method of reducing the rigidity by thinning or lengthening the bristle or lowering the elastic modulus of the material can be considered. When the bristle tip reaches the gap, the method of reducing the rigidity reduces the plaque scraping force, but the method of tilting the bristle of the present invention maintains the plaque scraping force. Is possible.
[0014]
In addition, according to the present invention, the average flocking height of the central bristles is 0.1 to 4.0 mm higher than the average flocking height of the outer bristles in each of the outer regions, thereby removing plaque. It is possible to efficiently secure a level difference sufficient to improve. If the convex inner / outer step is larger than 4.0 mm, the outer bristle becomes too short, and it is difficult to prevent the inner bristle from protruding to the outside, and the plaque removal effect may be reduced.
[0015]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The toothbrush 10 according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 1 includes a plurality of flocks 11 formed on a toothbrush main body 11 comprising a gripping part (not shown), a flocking table 11, and a neck 12 connecting them. Each of the hair bundles (tufts) 15a, 15b, and 15c formed by bundling a plurality of bristles 14a, 14b, and 14c is implanted in the flock hole 13 (planted).
[0016]
According to the toothbrush 10 of the first embodiment, the toothbrush body is a known one made of a synthetic resin such as polypropylene or ABS resin, and the flat flocked surface of the flocking table 11 has a diameter of 1.2 mm. The flock holes 13 having a circular cross section are distributed and arranged in 32 vertical and horizontal directions over substantially the entire area of the flocked surface. In these flock holes 13, there are six first hair bundles 15 a schematically shown by white circles in FIG. 1, four second hair bundles 15 b schematically shown by black circles, and third circles schematically shown by double circles. Hair bundles 15c are respectively planted at 22 locations.
[0017]
Moreover, the bristle 14a, 14b, 14c which comprises each hair | bristle bundle 15a, 15b, 15c is a filament material which has a thickness of 6-10 mil which consists of synthetic resins, such as nylon, Comprising: Each hair bundle 15a, 15b, 15c is formed by bundling several tens of hairs.
[0018]
According to the first embodiment, the flocked surface of the flocking table 11 is divided into a central strip region 16 having a width of 3 mm and a pair of outer regions 17 on both sides thereof by a pair of partition lines 18 parallel to the axial direction X of the toothbrush 10. When partitioned, six first hair bundles 15a and four second hair bundles 15b are implanted in the central band-like region 16, and each of the outer region 17 has eleven third hair bundles 15c. Will be planted. In addition, according to this 1st Embodiment, it is located in the peripheral part of the 1st hair | bristle bundle 15a arrange | positioned adjacent to the division line 18 between the center strip | belt-shaped area | region 16 and the outer side area | region 17, and the 2nd hair | bristle bundle 15b. Part of the bristle 14a, 14b protrudes toward the outer region 17 and is planted.
[0019]
And according to this 1st Embodiment, the 1st hair | bristle bundle 15a is comprised by bundling 16 1st bristle 14a whose thickness is 9 mil (0.229 mm). The first bristle bundles 15a are implanted so as to be tilted toward the distal end side (forward) in the axial direction X of the toothbrush 10 at an angle of 10 degrees (+10 degrees) with respect to the vertical direction, and each first bristle 14a is It is planted with a hair length of 11.0 mm from the planted surface. The second hair bundle 15b is configured by bundling 12 second bristle 14b having a thickness of 10 mil (0.254 mm). The second bristle bundle 15b is planted by tilting toward the tip end side in the axial direction X of the toothbrush 10 at an angle of 10 degrees (+10 degrees) with respect to the vertical direction, and each second bristle 14b extends from the flocked surface. It is implanted with a hair length of 11.0 mm.
[0020]
Furthermore, the 3rd hair | bristle bundle 15c is comprised by bundling 34 3rd bristle 14c whose thickness is 6 mil (0.152 mm). The third bristle bundle 15c is implanted so as to incline toward the rear end side (rear side) in the axial direction X of the toothbrush 10 at an angle of 5 degrees (-5 degrees) with respect to the vertical direction, and each third bristle. 14c is flocked with a hair length of 10.0 mm from the flocked surface. Note that, according to the first embodiment, the case where the toothbrush 10 is tilted from the direction perpendicular to the flocked surface of the flocking table 11 toward the tip side (forward) in the axial direction X of the toothbrush 10 (+), the axial direction X of the toothbrush 10 is The case where it tilts to the rear end side (rear) is defined as (−).
[0021]
As a result, according to the toothbrush 10 of the first embodiment, the central bristle is formed by the first bristle 14a and the second bristle 14b that are planted in the central belt-like region 16 and the tips thereof are located above the central belt-like region 16. The average flocked height is about 1.0 mm higher than the average flocked height of the outer bristle by the third bristles 14c and the like that are implanted in each outer region 17 and the tip thereof is located above the outer region 17.
[0022]
In addition, according to the toothbrush 10 of the first embodiment, when the brushing table 11 is wiped while applying a load of 300 g vertically, the flocking table 11 is displaced, for example, by about 1.8 mm to the flocking side. Even the outer bristle 14c shorter by 1.0 mm than the bristle 14a, 14b comes into contact with the flat surface. Therefore, all of the bristle 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d constituting each hair bundle 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d has the tips of a plurality of bristles planted on the flocking table 11 in contact with a flat surface. A main bristle, which is a bristle whose tip comes into contact with a flat surface when it is swept while applying a load of 300 g vertically from the rear side of the flocking table 11, is formed.
[0023]
Furthermore, according to the toothbrush 10 of the first embodiment, all of the six first hair bundles 15a and the four second hair bundles 15b planted in the central belt-like region 16 are 10 degrees with respect to the vertical direction. The toothbrush 10 is tilted to the tip end side in the axial direction X of the toothbrush 10 at an angle of 5 mm, and all of the 22 third hair bundles 15 c to be implanted in the outer region 17 are at an angle of 5 degrees with respect to the vertical direction. By being tilted and planted to the rear end side of the ten axial directions X, the average tilt angle of all the main bridges 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d with respect to the vertical direction regardless of the tilt direction is 6.6 degrees. It will be.
[0024]
And according to the toothbrush 10 of this 1st Embodiment, by adjusting arrangement | positioning of the main bristle 14a, 14b, 14c from which flocking height differs, and the inclination angle of the main bristle 14a, 14b, 14c, the planted main bristle 14a, 14b, and 14c can efficiently clean the interdental portion, and can sufficiently exhibit the plaque removal effect in the interdental portion.
[0025]
That is, according to the first embodiment, the average hair flocking height of the central main bristle in the central strip region 16 is higher than the average flocking height of the outer main bristle in each outer region 17, so that it is higher than the outer main bristle. The bristles of the central main bristle having a long bristle will easily and smoothly enter the interdental area during brushing. Further, since the average tilt angle of all the main bristle 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d regardless of the tilt direction is 2.5 to 15 degrees, the buckle strength of the toothbrush 10 with respect to the vertical load is not tilted. Compared to the case, the entire toothbrush 10 is pressed deeper, and the tip of the hair can reach the deep part of the interdental part. Therefore, these synergistic actions can sufficiently exert the effect of removing plaque at the interdental portion.
[0026]
FIGS. 2A and 2B show a toothbrush 20 according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention. The toothbrush 20 according to the second embodiment includes a gripping part (not shown) and a flocking table. Bristles 24a, 24b, 24c, 24d are bundled in a plurality of flocking holes 23a, 23b, 23c, 23d formed in a flocking table 21 of a toothbrush main body comprising a neck 21 and a neck portion 22 connecting them. (Tuft) 25a, 25b, 25c, 25d is configured by flocking (planting) each.
[0027]
Further, according to the toothbrush 20 of the second embodiment, the toothbrush body is a known one made of a synthetic resin such as polypropylene or ABS resin, like the toothbrush 10 of the first embodiment. The flat flocked surface of the flocking table 21 of the toothbrush 20 has a track in which the short axis parallel to the axial direction X of the toothbrush 20 is 0.8 mm and the long axis perpendicular to this is 3.0 mm over substantially the entire area. Track-shaped second flocked holes 23b having a circular first flocked hole 23a at five locations, a long axis parallel to the axial direction X of the toothbrush 20 of 2.2 mm, and a short axis perpendicular to this are 0.8 mm. It is formed in 16 places. In addition, there are five track-shaped third flocking holes 23c having a major axis of 1.5 mm and a minor axis of 0.8 mm, and a fourth track-circular shape having a major axis of 1.5 mm and a minor axis of 0.8 mm. The flocking holes 23d are formed in seven places.

In the five first flocked holes 23a, the first hair bundle 25a, which is schematically shown in a shaded line in FIG. 2 (a), and in the sixteen second flocked holes 23b, the axial direction X of the toothbrush 20 is shown. Each of the second hair bundles 25b, which is schematically shown by drawing a rounded-off circle, is implanted. Further, the third hair follicles 23c shown schematically in black at the five third flock holes 23c, and the fourth hair bundle 25d shown schematically in white at the seven fourth flock holes 23d, respectively. It is flocked.
[0029]
Further, according to the second embodiment, the flocking surface of the flocking table 21 is formed by a pair of partition lines 28 parallel to the axial direction X of the toothbrush 20 and a central strip region 26 having a width of 3 mm and a pair of outer regions 27 on both sides thereof. When divided into five, the central band-like region 26 is planted with five first hair bundles 25a, five third hair bundles 25c, and one fourth hair bundle 25d. In this case, eight second hair bundles 25b and three fourth hair bundles 25d are implanted. Note that, according to the second embodiment, the third hair bundle 25c and the fourth hair bundle 25d arranged adjacent to the partition line 28 between the central belt-like region 26 and the outer region 27 are a part of them. The bristle 24c, 24d protrudes from the central belt-like region 26 side or the outer region 27 side and is planted.
[0030]
Furthermore, according to the second embodiment, the flocked surface of the flocking table 21 is divided by a dividing line 29 perpendicular to the axial direction X of the toothbrush 20, so that the front end side region 30 and the rear end side region 31 of the flocking table 21 are divided. When partitioning, the two second hair bundles 25b, the five third hair bundles 25c, and the seven fourth hair bundles 25d implanted in the distal end side region 30 are 5 degrees with respect to the vertical direction ( The toothbrush 20 is tilted to the front end side (forward) in the axial direction X at an angle of +5 degrees). Further, in the rear end region 31, the five first bristle bundles 25a implanted in the central strip region 26 are at the front end side in the axial direction X of the toothbrush 20 at an angle of 10 degrees (+10 degrees) with respect to the vertical direction. The seven second hair bundles 25b implanted in the outer region 27 are implanted perpendicularly to the flocked surface of the flocking table 21 without being inclined. (See FIG. 2 (b)).
[0031]
The first hair bundle 25a is configured by bundling 38 first bristle 24a having a thickness of 9 mil (0.229 mm), and each first bristle 24a has a hair height of 11.5 mm from the flocked surface. Has been. The second bristle bundle 25b is configured by bundling 48 second bristle 24b having a thickness of 7 mil (0.178 mm), and each second bristle 24b has a bristle of 9.0 to 11.5 mm from the flocked surface. Length and flocked.
[0032]
Further, the third hair bundle 25c is configured by bundling 15 third bristle 24c having a thickness of 9 mil (0.229 mm), and each third bristle 24c is 11.0 to 12.0 mm from the flocked surface. The hair is planted at a hair length (11.5 mm, 12.0 mm, 11.5 mm, 11.0 mm hair length in order from the third bristle 24c constituting the third hair bundle 25c on the tip side of the hair transplant table 21). Further, the fourth hair bundle 25d is configured by bundling 19 fourth bristle 24d having a thickness of 8 mil (0.203 mm), and each fourth bristle 24d is 10.5 to 11.5 mm from the flocked surface. (11.5 mm, 11.0 mm, 10.5 mm hair length in order from the fourth bristle 24 d constituting the fourth hair bundle 25 d on the distal end side of the flocking table 21).
[0033]
Therefore, according to the second embodiment, the brush surface at the upper end of the entire hair bundle group including the third hair bundle 25c at the five locations and the fourth hair bundle 25d at the seven locations is shown in FIG. As described above, the two third hair bundles 25c (hair length 12.0 mm) in the second row from the front end side of the flocking table 21 are the highest, and a mountain shape is formed when viewed from the side of the toothbrush 20. Yes.
[0034]
Further, according to the second embodiment, the second hair bundle 25b has the highest bristle length (11.5 mm) as shown in an enlarged top view and side view in part A of FIG. ) From the eight second bristle 24b to the second bristle 24b having the lowest bristle length (9.0 mm), the bristle length of the second bristle 24b is successively lowered so that the tip shape becomes a concave curved shape. It is to be planted in the state that has been done. As a result, only the 24 second bristle 24b having the longer hair length are brought into contact with the flat surface when the tip of the bristles 21 is swept while applying a load of 300 g vertically from the rear side of the flocking table 21. A bristle will be constructed.
[0035]
As described above, according to the toothbrush 20 of the second embodiment, the five first bristle bundles 25a are inclined at an angle of 10 degrees with respect to the vertical direction and the two second bristle bundles 25b. Is inclined at an angle of 5 degrees with respect to the vertical direction, and five third hair bundles 25c and seven fourth hair bundles 25d are inclined at an angle of 5 degrees with respect to the vertical direction. Then, since the 14 second hair bundles 25b are planted vertically without tilting, the tilting of all the main bristle 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d constituting each hair bundle 25a, 25b, 25c, 25d is tilted. The average tilt angle with respect to the vertical direction regardless of the direction is 6.0 degrees.
[0036]
In addition, according to the second embodiment, the convex inner / outer step, which is the difference in average flocking height between the central main bristle in the central belt-like region 26 and the outer main bristle in each outer region 27, is 0.65 mm. Therefore, combined with the fact that the average tilt angle is 6.0 degrees, the same effect as the toothbrush 10 of the first embodiment is achieved.
[0037]
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made. For example, the shape and arrangement of the flock holes on the flocking table, the thickness and number of bristles constituting each hair bundle are not limited to those in the above embodiments.
