Description

【0001】

[0005]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Next, an embodiment of a sound insulating material mounting structure according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, the mounting structure of a sound insulating material according to one embodiment of the present invention is applied to a portion of a front fender panel 1 on a front door 2 side. As shown in FIG. 4, the front fender panel 1 has a rear edge flange 3 and a vertical surface portion 4 at an upper portion of a rear edge. The trailing edge flange 3 extends toward a gap 7 to be closed by the sound insulating material 5. The vertical surface portion 4 extends from the end of the rear edge flange 3 toward the rear of the vehicle B and is bent therefrom at a right angle to the center in the vehicle width direction W.
[0006]
As shown in FIG. 3, the sound insulating material 5 is a long and thin resin part, and a relatively small gap 7 between the front fender panel 1 and the side body outer panel 6 adjacent thereto (see FIGS. 4 to 6). (See Reference). As shown in FIG. 2, the sound insulating material 5 is attached to the front fender panel 1 at three locations: an upper end portion 8, an intermediate portion 9, and a lower end portion 10, thereby preventing engine noise from entering the room.
[0007]
As shown in FIG. 4, the upper end portion 8 of the sound insulating material 5 has a hook portion 11 having a U-shaped cross section that engages with the vertical surface portion 4 of the front fender panel 1. The hook portion 11 has a vertical contact portion 12 that contacts the vertical surface portion 4 to position the sound insulating material 5. Further, the sound insulating material 5 has a hook portion 13 used for engaging the hook portion 11 with the vertical surface portion 4 of the front fender panel 1 at the time of assembly. The hook portion 11, the vertical surface contact portion 12, and the knob portion 13 are formed integrally with the sound insulating material 5. The sound insulating material 5 has a mounting hole 9a in the intermediate portion 9 as shown in FIG. 5, and has a mounting piece 10a with a hinge mechanism in the lower end portion 10 as shown in FIGS. The mounting piece 10a is provided with a mounting hole 10b.
The front fender panel 1 has clip holes 1a and 1b corresponding to the mounting holes 9a and 10b, respectively.
[0008]
Next, assembling of the sound insulating material will be described with reference to FIGS. First, as shown in FIG. 4, the sound insulating material 5 is arranged on the back surface 1 c of the front fender panel 1 in the gap to be closed. That is, the sound insulating material 5 is interposed between the front fender panel 1 and the side body outer panel 6.
In this state, at the upper end portion 8 of the sound insulating material 5, as shown in FIG. 8, the hook portion 11 is located on the back side 1 c of the front fender panel 1, but the knob portion 13 is located on the front surface of the front fender panel 1. When the operator pulls the knob 13 in the direction of the arrow P with his finger, the hook 11 comes out on the front side 1d of the front fender panel 1 as shown in FIG. , Engages with the vertical surface 4 of the front fender panel 1. At this time, the position of the sound insulating material 5 in the vehicle width direction W can be regulated by the vertical surface contact portion 12 of the hook portion 11 being in contact with the vertical surface portion 4.
[0009]
At the intermediate portion 9 of the sound insulating material 5, as shown in FIG. 5, the clip 14 is inserted into the mounting hole 9 a of the sound insulating material 5 from the front of the vehicle, and the sound insulating material 5 is mounted on the front fender panel 1. As described above, in the intermediate portion 9 of the sound insulating material 5, the sound insulating material 5 is attached with the clip 14 from the rear surface 1 c of the front fender panel 1.
At the lower end portion 10 of the sound insulating material 5, as shown in FIG. 6, the attachment piece 10a with a hinge mechanism is extended to the front side 1d of the front fender panel 1, and as shown in FIGS. After being bent in the direction and contacting the front side 1d, the clip 14 is inserted into the mounting hole 10b (see FIG. 7) of the mounting piece 10a of the sound insulating material 5 from the front side 1d of the front fender panel 1, and the sound insulating material 5 is Attach to fender panel 1. As described above, at the lower end portion 10 of the sound insulating material 5, the sound insulating material 5 is attached with the clip 14 from the front side 1 d of the front fender panel 1.
[0010]
In the present embodiment, the sound insulating material 5 can be fixed to the front fender panel 1 at the upper end portion 8 of the sound insulating material 5 without using a mounting member such as a clip 14 or a tool, and the cost can be reduced by reducing the number of components. In addition, it can be easily and quickly mounted in a narrow place where the hand of the operator is difficult to access, and the assembling workability can be improved. Further, even if the accuracy of the clip holes 1a and 1b on the front fender panel 1 side is poor, it is possible to prevent the sound insulation material 5 from being loosely attached. Further, since the upright surface portion 4 of the front fender panel 1 and the upright surface contact portion 12 of the sound insulating material 5 are in contact with each other, the sound insulating material 5 falls off even if the sound insulating material 5 is shifted in the vehicle width direction W. Can be prevented. The sound insulating material 5 can be firmly attached to the front fender panel 1 at three places: an upper end portion 8, an intermediate portion 9, and a lower end portion 10.
In the present embodiment, the vertical surface portion 4 is provided to extend rearward of the vehicle, but may be provided to extend forward of the vehicle.
[0011]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention provides a sound insulating material mounting structure for closing a gap between a rear edge portion of a fender panel and a panel provided on the indoor side of the rear edge portion so as to face the fender panel, wherein the fender panel extends toward the gap. The rear edge flange is provided with a vertical surface extending in the vehicle front-rear direction, the sound insulating material is interposed between the panels, and the sound insulating material is provided with a hook portion that engages with the vertical surface, so that a clip or the like is provided. Since the sound insulating material can be fixed to the fender panel without using the mounting parts described above, the cost can be reduced by reducing the number of parts, and the mounting workability in a narrow place can be improved.
