以上の従来の「生ごみ処理装置」によって処理された生ゴミは、水分・液分を概ね除去されて軽量化するものの、生ゴミ特有の臭気の充分な除去ができないと共に、細断処理によって空気の接触面積が増加しているので、常温空気中で悪臭が再発生したり小虫が群がる現象が避けられず、その上前記の脱水・脱液の水液は汚濁液にして異臭を放散するものが多いので排水溝等への放出がし難く、放棄処理に困る不具合がある。
