【請求項1】 機械的伸長神経細胞を含む組成物。
【請求項2】 神経細胞の軸索が0.2cmより長く伸長されている、請求項1に記載の組成物。
【請求項3】 神経細胞の軸索が1cmより長く伸長されている、請求項1に記載の組成物。
【請求項4】 以下を含む、伸長細胞の産生方法:
(a)選択細胞を培養すること、
(b)培養細胞を平板培養して上層膜および下層膜上を培養細胞が両膜を覆うようにすること、
(c)上層膜を下層膜を横断するように動かし、培養細胞機械的に伸ばし、伸長細胞により連結される2つの集団に分割すること。
【請求項5】 選択細胞が神経細胞である、請求項4に記載の方法。
【請求項6】 動物における神経損傷の処置方法であって、請求項1に記載の組成物の神経損傷を蒙った動物の神経への移植を、神経損害部位またはその付近に行うことを含む、前記方法。
【請求項7】 動物における脊髄損傷の処置方法であって、請求項1に記載の組成物の脊髄損傷を蒙った動物の脊髄への移植を、神経損害部位またはその付近に行うことを含む方法。
